I should totally be scolding myself right now, but I'm not sure if there is another thread like this one already about there and I'm still making it. Oh well.
Anyways. Do you have a pagan/magick/wiccan name? If so, what is it? Does it have any meaning to you that you would share? ^-^ Just curious to know.

I like the name Sable, for myself. Or Sable Lady. Something like that. It reminds me of all things warm and autumny, for some reason. xD Heh, original, really. But Sable makes me think of horses, and fields. I think I'm just thinking of Sable Island, but anyway. It makes me think of grace, and speed, and openess.

It makes me think of grace, and speed, and openess. ^0^ I just though of something to represent me, and I came up with autumn. ANd for some reason, slight warmness, fuzzy sweaters, blue skies and rainbow trees made me think 'Sable', for whatever reason.

I just came up with my name one day while I was reading something dealing with the occult (not Wicca or anything that actually had to do with 'craft names') and then I didn't know the whats or why, but now that I've delved into my conlang a bit more, the 'Bav' part means something along the lines of "spiritual/philosophical peace" in a sort of spiritual sense, the -i being a simple name suffix that I've unwittingly tacked onto most names I create.

Conlang is short for Constructed Language.
It's a language that is created, normally from scratch but it can be based off of existing languages, like Esperanto is, for any number of reasons.
I'm making one because I'm practically a linguaphile (a lover of languages and words) and find that creating one's own language to be an unbelievably fantastic exercise in all aspects of linguistics.
I got the idea/inspiration to do it through studying Quenya, Tolkien's conlang for the High Elves, which I wuv <3
As for how I came by the name Bavi, it's amazing how much we assosiate sounds, characters, etc with certains ideas, feelings, or concepts, and not even know it, or perhaps not until we actually look into it.

You can say I have a pagan name cuz it resides in my number also... It's Rya. I came up with it from a bunch of friends just to find out it's [got a] real meaning in the dictionary[- it] is a woven rug... I had to laugh but it works out with my name. My first, middle and last [name] have r in it them and my first [name's] 2nd letter has is y and my middle second letter is a. I couldn't add the last second letter cuz it didn't make any sense but I really like the way it came out. cuz It's easy to pronounce unlike my real name biggrin
