- CHILDHOOD
xxx»» William Brown is the second child of Glenys Brown nee Warlow, a Welsh herbologist, and Cameron Brown, a Scottish landscaper. His parents were Hogwarts sweethearts who defied Glenys' pureblood parents to elope, as Cameron was a muggleborn and Glenys was supposed to marry a fellow pureblood. Some years later William's sister Donella was born, and three years after her he followed. As the younger child William was more spoiled and coddled than his sister, and since he was born early and often sickly as a little boy, often prevented from doing the same things as his sister or from being out of his mother's sight for very long. Donella was also a very domineering older sibling, and William was used to always doing what his sister wanted to do. He spent most of his childhood in Scotland, with occasional visits to see his mother's family in Wales, none of whom he particularly liked, as his older cousins tended to bully and mock him. He couldn't wait to attend Hogwarts, mostly so his every move wouldn't be monitored or scolded.
