9-27-17 Sapphire Vault : - Already finished Adamant Vault previously, so I've moved on to the Sapphire recolor. I'm a bit ambivalent on this one, was trying for a crystal mage. All Star Cheer: Sapphire Skulls : - I really am not a fan of this leg pose, so I was a bit stumped with what to do. Soooo, partnered with a fun armmod? Alruna : - Why are there so many floating bitty Alruna pose, augh! So many purple succubi. I suppose I rarely use the sexy lingerie-type stuffs so it's an excuse to use those items. Anesidora's Woe : - I know the purple isn't really byzantium, but I rather like the interplay of black, dark gray, and deeper purples. It might be a weird stereotypical ninja, but once I started playing with blackout items this was the result. Anima Adamantea : - I'm rather proud of the technomancer thing I was going for here, I'd been stuck on a stereotypical robot thing with previous Anima poses. Antipathy : - Making weird creatures is a super fun passion of mine. I'd even forgot that the Night Fright skin existed! It's fun to layer stuff on top of that. Antique Shop : - This odd avatar makes me happy for some reason. I like the richer tones, and I don't believe I've ever used that dress before! Apprentice Charm : - Normally with this item I've just done pure white with powder blue, but I rather like how offwhite looks with that lighter blue! Aria Dannata : - I don't know why top hats always inspire me to do random odd magician avatars. I like to think that this avatar is all sad that the hat purple is so fiddly to match to and is trying to do magic tricks to cheer up. Art of Espionage : - Yes, it's so typical to make ninjas with this item but I kinda like parts of this. I have the hardest time finding items to go with that intense orange. Bad Moon : - Furry wolf thing with another wolf? All kidding aside, I had fun making this critter. Discovered that the Hanyo claws trim the wolf legs in an interesting way that makes them still look wolflike but thinner. Band of Bremen : - I do usually prefer complicated avatars, but this simple one turned out pretty nice.

10-2-17 Biancamella : - I'm always so stumped with what to do with pink. It's far out of my comfort zone, and pink hair is doubly so. So, I went with something fun and a chance to use that fluffy kitty tail! Bunnihilation : - Boxers visible always makes me think of lazy/sweatpants time at home, so I had fun with some sootberry items I hadn't used much and just made a quiet little scene. Cafe Miam : - Overworked quirky gardener person? I was enjoying messing around with lighter colors and just let the textures and patterns lead the way. Captain Ara's Nestegg : - a rather colorful elven hunter? I really don't know why, but I do love how this turned out. Adding dark brown really makes the suika/watermelon color scheme pop. Carol of Ol' Ebenezer : - I thought it would be funny to try to mimic the toy soldier. I do love that deep sapphire blue, and I wish there were more items in that color. Catastrophe : - I suppose that mermaids would think about fish occasionally? Mostly I was looking for an excuse to do a mermaid. The face in particular makes me happy. Ce.Ch.be Vial : - Decided to try a pokemon trainer route with this one. I kinda wish I could have gotten some orange down on the feet, but it does get balanced by the dino baby being down there. Changeling Baby Boy : - Was dreading having to make a baby avatar, but then I realized the right set of poofy bangs could make this into a cute decorative bow instead! Checkmate : - It might be a very safe color scheme, but I like the dynamic swagger in this one. It's pretty generic fantasy hero, but oh well. Classilke : - I still am amazed how well this silly pose matches the Etoile color scheme. I was a bit torn between using a background cutter or leaving the entire background in, but I felt the avatar was getting a bit too lost. Compass of Seidh : - Was inspired by swooshy magic to make a Harry Potter-esque magic scene. Coocoon : - I had fun playing with backgrounds and atmosphere on this one. Layering backgrounds is the best, I wish I could do it better. Custom Cut : - Halfatar time! Can't have a pose with 'asymmetrical' in the name and NOT have me halfatar it. The original idea I had was to try for a superhero theme, but the ONE cape that I found that would make that work totally unequipped the Custom Cut pose. So I have this one for the challenge, and perfected it the way I envisioned it just because. Dander : - Used the dander color to lead into a grayscale avatar. I picture this as some sort of dream god. I like how the shoulder dust looks like a continuation of the stars on the hood. Dandidoodad Spore : - So the dandi spore is not quite cherie, not quite seabreeze. However, I think it looks great when you smoosh those two color schemes together!

10-9-17 Dappy Dandy : - it's amazing how easy it is now to genderswap avatars with arm and leg mods. Dark Heart : - Halfatar time! It was surprisingly hard to find enough rosamund/raspberry items to complete this avatar. I do love that this hat is really nice for halfataring. Daughter of Snows : - I have the hardest time with this item and color scheme. It's so soft and hard to match exactly! Death Whisper : - I love how the layering of tattoos and stuff on the face turned out on this monster. Making creatures is so much fun. Deen's Potion : - Casual avatars are surprisingly hard. I always end up doing too much matching and not enough unmatching. Oh well, I still don't mind how this turned out. Deinocti's Oath : - This foofy hat is love, so I decided to make a Puss in Boots-inspired avatar. It might not have much to do with the blade, but it's kinda pirate-y? Diapered Egg : - I should use more astra items and save the avatars as gifs. It saddens me to think that astra items might eventually be gone forever if Flash continues to be phased out. For this avatar, I love how the face turned out. Not a mask, just a lot of layered tattoos! Dionaesil : - Only so much you can do with a potted plant... so I decided to have fun with bitty faeries. Dream Town : - Another genderswapped avatar. I managed to get away from matching by focusing instead on finding very realistic shaded items. Emerald Dream : - Chickens! It was a good excuse to use this fun backdrop. Enchanted Book : - Not a super impressive avatar, but sometimes it's nice to go simple and sweet. Fallen Wish : - Swooshy wind needs swooshy wings! I just love the Fallen color scheme and don't use it near enough! Fausto's Bottle : - Fausto is such a nostalgic item, but it's so frustrating to match. The new ethereal color scheme matches to it but it's got that rough shading, so I only used a smidge of it. Firefly's Flame : - The color scheme made me think of monarchs, so I decided to just run with it and make a monarch-ish avatar. Forteanagoria : - And lastly, green monster cyclops thing. Originally wanted a mermaid, but found myself going this path and loving it.

10-18-17 Fremere's Guard : - I love Fremere's Guard for all of its halfatar possibilities, so of course I had to halfatar this pose. The challenge was that I decided to use the bugberry color scheme, and getting the limited number of bugberry items I own I had to get creative! Furugasa : - I'm so glad that the decay color scheme came out, it makes it so much easier to use these Furugasa poses. I can't say I have ever used these umbrellas before this challenge. Yay for trying something new! Galactic Soldier : - I love these dragon skins and rarely if ever use them due to their bulk. I decided to make a dragonkin wizard-y dude when messing around with the green of these gloves, and it was fun! Gary's Island Adventure : - Another male avatar on a female base, ha! I had way too much fun upping the manly factor here. They finally have an item that gives a man chest without weirdly adding a bra just because it's theoretically the female base that is being used. Gimpi : - Augh, why does Gimpi need a million exclamation point mood bubble poses. It should be easy to make avatars for those as I can just tack a mood onto any random avatar, but I'm so used to having to work specifically around a pose that I get stumped. I decided to work with what I know - as a veterinary assistant, this feels like my daily chaos. Hardhearted : - I'm never that comfortable trying to do 'punk' or alternative fashion avatars. I tried to match the shirt pattern this time and just had fun with the melty color scheme. Haute Modena : - I toyed around with other maroon/raspberry items for a while before I realized that Sunset would be perfect with this scarf. I'd been wanting to use these faun legs for a while, so it was a good excuse. Hermes' Moon : - Whenever I see a solitary animal pose of a fantasy critter, I have to try to make a pokemon trainer-esque avatar. Yellow is a bit out of my comfort zone, but I had fun nonetheless! Hoarfrost Path: Northman : - Yay, another halfatar! The belt was just too well placed to pass up the opportunity to make a halfatar. The trick was trying to find enough navy/apatite items to complete it, but I'm happy with the outcome. Holy S#17 : - Ah, the relief of knowing that this is the last flying poo ufo pose I'll have to work around. I rarely use cartoony mood faces, so at least I had a reason to do that! Imaginary Friend : - Another trainer avatar! I tried messing around in the face a little more, to give it more of a stylized cartoony look. I feel like I've been in a face creation rut and generally use the same one or two noses, so I'm trying to branch out. Inari's Beads : - This ended up turning into a Sailor Moon-esque character while I messed around with the color scheme, and I just had to go with it! Infernal Spirit : - I know this is supposed to be chest armor, but it looks like a short top to me. So I decided to just go that route and make a little mini dress thing. I'm so glad that rust is a color scheme now! Jinxi's Charm : - I took the feather idea a bit further and created a harpy-ish shaman character. I thought about going more and doing bird feet and a beak, but I preferred this look. I just love messing with layering makeup and markings on the face. Josie's Journey : - This over the top hair made me think high fashion, so I went with fancy legs and a dress. I do like how that bow fits in with the hair.

10-24-17 Keiko's Cake : - Whenever I try to make a 'natural' or 'realistic' relaxed avatar, cats inevitably end up getting involved. It probably has NOTHING to do with being smothered by my cats whenever I'm making avatars. Kelp O' the Loch : Decided to do another matching pokemon trainer avatar! I think Winterstorm dark blue is the closest that matches with the green horse's mane. Kottan Bell : : Oh this item. The subtle not-white and not-gray is so frustrating sometimes. Soooo, I just did a trainer-esque thing in the usual gray and black and tried not to get too hung up on the weird yellow-white that doesn't match. Lady Jayne : : I do love this item's combination of that dark teal and honey brown. I toyed around with layering and found an armmod that cut sleeves without cutting the trenchcoat off at the waist. I rather like how the outfit turned out, makes me want to dust off the tablet and do some art! Le Carousel : - Why in the world is this pose called 'Hand Ruffles' when it's clearly on the upper arm? Oh well. Anywho, used this as an excuse to play around with the royal icing color scheme. Little Lucie : - Not much to say about this one, heh! Poses that are boring AND take up half the avatar are uninspiring to work around. Lumiere Noire : - While looking through my monochrome items to put together something around this shirt, I realized how many cat-accessory items I have that I rarely use. So, time to bring them out in force! Lyndexer's Journal : - It's cage-ception! Egg in a cage held by a creature in a cage! At least the teal of the egg is close enough to Neptune/Fallen/Turquoise that it doesn't seem too out of place. M's Sketchbook : - So the hat makes me think of barbershop quartets, but that's harder to show in an avatar. So I went a slightly different direction and decided on instrument performance. While messing around I popped the sunset background on and loved how it looked with the brown. Mana Seed : - This cap made me think comedic relief fairy critter. Fairies are fun, I really should do more of them! Masquerade : - So the sunken eyes made me think 'skeletal', and once I started on a skeleton-skinned creature it started to turn a bit feline. I figured I'd contrast that with the Schrodinger's Cat, as maybe this is the next step - zombie un-life cat to completely ruin the thought experiment! Master Alchemist : - Witch-in-training getting over her head with the magics? I love that library background. Whee! Mineiro Scroll : - I've been playing Skyrim again, so when I start to make a fantasy character sometimes it just ends up being a khajiit. Mizuchi's Jewel : - I had way too much fun making this elemental feline creature thing! Everything about it makes me happy. Modus Operandi : - Augh, creepy horror girls are creepy. I thought about doing a non-bloody avatar by using scissors on the long hair, but I figure the best way to represent the item is just to go full on murder-insanity.

11-14-17 Moira's Fashion Flashback : - This hairstyle to me looked more fantasy than 'hippie' so I went for a (probably evil) enchantress. Monstrosity : - Zombie Mr. Hyde? I do rather like the creepy factor at least, ha! Mystery of the Stolen Sapphires : - I just went with the flow when building this avatar and ended up with something that I think would fit in the Green Hornet universe. Nano-C : - Oversized sci fi weaponry? Time for an alien bounty hunter! Nartian Rock : - More aliens! I'm always a fan of non-standard body shapes for aliens. It's rare-ish to see centaur-esque aliens, so the more limbs the merrier! Noel's Gift : - At the very end, the ribbon that was the inspiration for all of this did get mostly covered up but it's totally the thought that counts. I haven't paired yellow with lavender before, and there aren't a lot of bright yellow items, so this was a bit of a challenge. I did end up splashing some orange in as it works well with that Kitten Star yellow. The kittens really helped pull everything together! Orindae : - Orindae escaped the lab apparently and has spent the last two avatars in this item's series out exploring the woods. Owlpocalypse : - Tried to mimic the same little expressions on all the bitty snowlings in this pose. I think this is the first time I've used one of the teeny beaks, and it's cute! Padmavati's Lotus : - Padmavati's colors are so pretty but so hard to match. I tried using Dahlia/poppy and it's close, at least! Pandaista : - Glasses -> Nerdy -> Books -> Librarby = time for a faun avatar! Silly thought process aside, I do like how this all came together. It's simple but cute. Pantheracorax Agage : - Another 'pokemon' trainer for this pose. I do rather like the color combo of sapphire/dark blue and red! Paramour's Break : - So much blue this update! I tried to use the texture of the pants as a starting point and matched to items that also had tiny buttons/white dotty details and ended up with a fantasy character. Tried using potion skins for this one...and gave up on keeping my avatar as a dark elf soon after. Easy enough to switch around, at least! Parcel Post : - Rosamund + Periwinkle is such a fun scheme to work with! I focused more on character instead of layering and think this dancer turned out decently well! Peony and Blossoms : - 'Shorts', being considered pants, are a bit more of a challenge to find legs to work with - a lot of nice leg poses unequip them. The final result of me messing around with honey lavender items was this Bard-class character. Petit Cherie : - Days are getting colder, so when I see an earmuff pose I'm totally going to do a nice cozy avatar with a big fluffy sweater!

11-18-17 Peyokon : - Continuing to try to make pokemon trainer avatars around the cute critter poses of EIs. This time, sleepy pokemon equals sleepy trainer! Picolitrosso's Urn : - I've always used this pose as a purse instead of a wineskin. Pieces of You : - Started playing with ivory/bone items to go with this bodice. I love how layering a dark skin and tattoos looks with this weird creature! Pistolera : - Weighed my options between going for a scenic avatar or trying to pull off a pokemon fight, and decided I was in a scenic mood! Polar Tear : - I love how partnering the handheld pose of this amulet with an armmod leads to a magical floating amulet. Used that idea to make an elven sorceress with hints of a sad backstory. Pora Ice : - this guy's only really able to be seen from behind, so I tried to go scenic. The idea is that he's climbing a tree stump to see what in the world those birds are doing. Prince of the Sea : -Only real thought to this was to make a precocious kid, and I think it turned out cute! Ravenwood Manor : - I'm oddly satisfied with how creepy and cohesive a character this turned out to be. Probably turned out creepy since I've been watching horror game let's plays lately. Reve Rouille : - I'm not sure, but this might be the first time I've used this robot body. Matches well with these goggles! Rookie's Pursuit : - Just a simple little avatar, but I've now found that I love that 'whisper' blue used as just an accent color, and I hope that they make more items with that color. Rosamund's Revenge : - Pink is such a hard color for me to work with. But this hair matched nicely with the pink fur, and of course let me to try an avatar inspired by the awesome Ultra Satan. Rose Saga : - I like how this background accents and contrasts with the dusky dress. Had to move to a sitting pose to make it look correct - otherwise it looks like sitting in water. I was hoping that the bench item would layer over the background, but alas it doesn't. So sitting is a good second best. Ruined Souls : - At first I had this without a background, but I'm so happy I found one that works. The stagony color scheme went really well with this. Runcible Spoon : - I was fiddling with my Independent color scheme items, and found that this shirt layered over the gun pose in a rather satisfying way. So I ended up with an odd Bonnie & Clyde avatar? S-Pop Rayna : - Halfatar time! I took the the idea of blue/checkered and moved into blue | black/white patterned. I did go back and forth on a few of the details at the end, but my favorite option was this one - I love how the ribbon on the blue hand is mirrored by the Artemis ribbon, even if the white ribbon sneaks over a little into the blue side.

11-18-17 Saint Ciel: Agape : - Finally used one of these centaur butts! I really like this centaur item but have trouble working it in an avatar. I was thinking about the centaurs in Fantasia while working on this. For some reason she's a goat-taur - when I added the horns and ears I thought it looked too cute to not use. Secret Retreat : - This pose seems a bit limiting in potential, soooo I made a maid. I'm fairly happy with the layering of the maid outfit - it's at least more than a single pose maid dress. Seracila Pendant : -Eventually I'd like to make an avatar using every weird creature butt or legmod, as I find them a lot of fun to work with and don't see them used very often. Whee! Seven Day Love : - Another halfatar! This is my first time trying to pull off a halfatar using the Yin legs, and I think it turned out decently enough. I was happy to find a hair that matched well with the shape of the ponytail, as I think that makes a halfatar look more cohesive, if that makes any sense. Shadowlegend : - Large, weird 'I am' poses are a pain to work with. I tried to make a Shadow of Colossus-inspired avatar with this one, and I think he looks better turned around with no eyes visible anyway. SOF Taiga : - I keep making post apocalyptic avatars for SOF Taiga. Not that that's a bad thing! Song of Amour : - Started playing with softly-shaded white items with a hint of blue, and ended up with a fantasy goddess thing that I rather like! Stinger : - On a weird creature roll! This emded up as some sort of faun/troll hybrid thing but I love it Sugarsuite : - Really turned to fall this week, so when I see a chance to create a fall avatar I'm going to take it! Tales of Clarion : - The skirt ended up looking close enough in color to Twilight, so I went full on Twilight-crazy Tama's Basket : - Decided to just use the Tama colors and made a fall-ish avatar. It started out as a trainer avatar, but I don't think it ended up looking pokemon-aesthetic enough. Case of Pietro : - Back in the day I used this eyeblack pose for a ton of avatars, especially for odd creatures. It layers well with tattoos and I love the effect. I found it very nostalgic to try building an avatar with it again! The Cocklebur King : - One innocent little bloody bite pose turned into a crazy undead creature thing, ha! I wish there were more weird companions with the same amount of detail as this undead tiger. The Nightmare : - I'm so spoiled by arm and leg mods now, it's the hardest thing to come back to using base shoes and legs. The Experiment : - Dived full in to the crazy pool of weirdness with this one, but what else is there to do with The Experiment?

11-24-17 The Prince's Rose : - So I was killing vampires in Skyrim today, and somehow this ended up with a vampiric avatar more at home in either Castlevania or Devil May Cry. Go figure. The Watchmaker : - Robotic halfatar! I tried to do steampunk/mechanical contrasted with sci fi/android. Timmy : - Half-assed cosplay of a Metal Gear Solid generic goon, hehe! Titan's Legacy : - Titan's green is so very green. Man, it's been so many ages since I've used this leafy hat in an avatar. Trick or Treat Tote : - This is such a silly little critter. I suppose it could count as a 'pokemon', so I made another trainer avatar. Trilune's Covenant : - this chalice pose is such an odd color. I cheated the attempt at matching by just combining ghastly and sapphire together, and it turned out well enough. Vivacenote : - I'm so used to legmods, it's a challenge to use 'regular' boots/shoes. Also this item has the hardest yellow to find items to work with. Volant Reverie : - Discovered that honey lavender and catharsis work really well together! Wandering Maestro : - The rare paladin/bard dual class character, so random White Drome : - The colors on the drome egg are so random. Slushy is the closest color I can find. Wingding : - E is for evil! I've been making avatars with these shirts by basing them on a word that starts with that letter. Wisteria : - Way back in the day I remember purple being a rare color and I complained that we needed more purple. Now there are so many purples... Yemaya's Pearl : - I really like these naga tails, especially when there's contrasting scales Yama no Tamago : - I love how well this poncho matches Yama's! Zodiacal : Fighter with attitude, at least she has a dymanic pose!

11-29-17 L'Histoire de Mephiste : - So many EIs use rosamund/raspberry! I'm trying to use items I haven't use as much before, so this turned into a weirdly pink jedi. Heh! Hidden Ace : - I wonder how many magician/sideshow act avatars I will eventually make for Hidden Ace. So many poses of cards! Purrsuasion : - I normally only associate this blonde color with Royal Icing, but I wanted to do more than just do a color scheme dump. I like how this looks with dusky gray and that slightly pink borealis color. Also I love that I managed to find a sash that actually looks like a skirt for the 2Be legs. My Dearly Damned : - This balloon pose changes drastically for every arm pose. My favorite is this weird demonic rune script, so I made a weird fantasy creature that I thought matched the script. Meido Cafe: Tsun : - As weird as this one is, I rather like it. I was trying to match with items that have a similar shading/line style, and this turned out clean with just a hint of creepy. Zesty Forum Regular : - I always tend to forget about this EI until I come to it in my list. Floating random text made me think of either sci fi or something like a dancing game, so I made what could be someone's dance rave sci fi avatar in one of those games. Recon Pariah : - I wish more tattoos layered together nicely, I've always loved weaving cool patterns with tattoos, makeup, and markings. Fireheart Red : - I was apparently in an ivory-and-black mood this week. I actually can't think of the last time I've made an avatar with ears and a tail with the intention that it's a girl wearing those items, rather than it being a weird creature or anthropomorphic animal. Cutey Hunter : - I'd been looking for an excuse to try out these cat heads, but they definitely aren't the most versatile. So this worked out perfectly! My Bloody Valentine : - Can you even have a neck corset/collar thing without trying to make a gothic vampire? Hehe! Pumpkin Pupil : - The layering on these legs is so weird! Regardless, had fun with more of a deco aesthetic to match the quirkiness of the leggings. His Pocket Paw : - I get to poses like this and think 'Well, crap.' I really need to work on more comedy avatars to work with poo themes. But it IS sparkly poo, and I suppose unicorns would be my first guess as to the origin of sparkly poo. Second guess would be kindergarteners with too much glitter.. Kibbles Cafe : - Bunnies are so cute. I decided that was a good enough reason to go simple and sweet with this one! Me Day : - Crazy hair makes me think fashion, so this seemed like a good cause for trying the magazine cover overlay! Hero's Journey : - I Am poses are tricky and frustratingly limiting. Found a few backgrounds that showed through on the front as I wanted to show the dog's cute face. Crimson Quartz : - I like this funky faun thing! I debated between having her be with or without background, and ultimately I like the background version a little bit more. Monster! Project : - this skin is tricky! There's nothing that matches that shade of green, and it doesn't allow hair to show. So I cheated with bangs and made a merperson! Usagi's Melty Kiss : - Every time I get around to using this item, I have more melty items to pair it with. I love that the sleeves work with this shirt and the pattern on sleeves and skirt work so well. Whee!

12-8-17 Sapphire Vault : - Hand mods make me happy when I have to use the basic arms. This made me remember how much I love the deep Starry blue! All Star Cheer: Sapphire Skulls : - I have fallen in love with Ivran's usermade color scheme, and I wish I had more! Pairing that bright almost horizon blue with navy makes me happy. Alruna : - As soon as I saw the spiky tail this reminded me of Alruna. I wish there was a better way to get back wings for these weirdly posed full body avatars, but at the same time I don't want them creating 'niche' items that are only designed to work with these things. Anesidora's Woe : - Halfatar time! Originally I wanted to try a life vs death theme, but the color of the purple and items in general were stumping me. So it ended up more dark vs bright, but it works in the end! Anima Adamantea : - this started to turn into some odd cartoon character, but I liked it so I just went with it! Antipathy : - I don't think it's possible to do a 'nice' avatar with Antipathy. So...torturedeath victim? Antique Shop : - I'm weirdly proud of this one, as that purple was a very interesting tone to match. Apprentice Charm : - A bit generic, but floaty swirly blue magic results in kinda Frozen-inspired avatar Aria Dannata : - If you can't find enough purple to match, just incorporate another purple and pretend like it was intentional. ninja Art of Espionage : - These eyes don't particularly seem beast-like, but while messing around I started playing with the creature and wanted to do something inspired from that, but didn't want to use orange/ifrit as it was blending too much. Wish the tail layered properly, though! Bad Moon : - I really wish these tiger butts were slightly larger and a bit more useable, I've never been able to make them work as well as I'd like. Band of Bremen : - I like the subtle textures on this coat, so I decided to go with a nice scene. It's finally gotten into coat weather, so this avatar was appropriate for the time!

12-10-17 : - I do love layering backgrounds. It makes me so happy when they turn out well! : - For something so simple, I fiddled with this one quite a bit. I think the end result turned out nicely androgenous and cute. : - There is a suprising number of food poses in EIs, and I have trouble thinking of a cool way to use them sometimes. : - Weird creatures are so fun. I haven't used these peacock feathers in years! : - Tried to do a tiny recreation of The Nutcracker with tiny dolls : - I love adding clutter to indoor scenes, it looks so nice and natural. That said, we totally need more random clutter items! : - I forgot how fun these dino skins are to use. I love that this challenge helps me rediscover older items. : - I usually dread having to figure out how to use these baby poses, and this one was a headache because almost everything layers OVER the baby. However, I was in a themey mood and really love how this turned out, even if Eros is an odd choice for a babysitter : - Tried to take a chance matching Ciel/Radiant with Borealis, and it was interesting at least. : - I was experimenting with the etoile color scheme and decided I wanted to go with the 'bug/insect' theme, so...weird buggy/mothy thing that I love? Heh! : - I've been looking forward to using this cool dragon butt. I love how layering tails makes it look like a continuation of the scale pattern. : - I am totally in love with these cute human-avatar-as-almost-Paw skins. So many possibilities! : - It's probably sad that hats like this always make me think pokemon trainer, but I'll just roll with it! : - Grey dust becomes black and white movie pixie dust. I love using ivory/offwhite instead of pure white with monochrome avatars, it is subtle but I like the effect : - Halfatar time! Olive green and dusky rose make a very interesting combo.

12-15-17 : Straw hats make me think barbershop quartets, which leads to an attempt at a vintage Americana-esque avatar. I like how layering background made it look more like the deck of a steamboat instead of a pier. : - Took the gothic theme of this to a Lovecraftian extreme! : -Who's been playing way too much Skyrim lately? Totally not me. : Time to combine two poses I've had trouble using before - the awkward mini-horse and the profile view face. : - I pretty much exclusively wear sweatpants when lounging around the house, so I just had to go with that for the theme : - So weird wispy scarf makes me think 'mummy', but there's a rather restricted pool of mummy items. So this morphed into a weird quirky fighting game character? : - Weird gathering of mythological creatures in a fiery zone. I was having fun with invisible avatar times again. : - I lost track of how many background/foreground items I layered for this. Technically the sky is the only full-frame background image equipped, the rest are partial backgrounds. : - Augh, pink. My archnemesis. I decided to make the cheesiest, most over the top cutesy doll ever. : - Struck by a curse that turns you into a deer! : - Experimenting with the robin color, turned out a bit generic but I don't mind it. : - I really like how this turned out. Saiphic colors just go so well with other desaturated colors. : Weird halfatar time! It's nice that the newer fluorite colors look decent with Fausto, but there's so few out yet that it was a challenge to get the split to work. : - I do not like this coat. It's a weird shape and unequips very easily, so I couldn't do any cool layering tricks with it. : - I went a little overboard on the time theme. At least it wasn't yet another weird creature avatar for Fortenanagoria!

12-23-17 : - trying to go in an elegant direction made this look like a malevolent elven mage. I really like the Wildfire color scheme, ifrit/crimson and white really pop : - Weird creepy scene, yay! The astra really makes this work, in my opinion : - The belt may have gotten mostly covered, but it's there! I really was suprised with how interesting this background looks with a night sky backdrop. : - I wanted to make this look like an itty bitty faerie or pixie. I really like this huge leaf backdrop : - so many mood bubbles in Gimpi. So I decided to make a random Catwings scenic! Man, I used to love using the summoning tome + kitty layering fun. : - I don't know why I decided to turn this pose into crazy draconic madness, but I like the final result. : - there really needs to be more items in this burgundy/sunset color. I love it, it's just so hard to make avatars with it! : - not much to say about this one, it's just me playing with etoile colors. I'd redo it and see if I could improve it, buuut the next pose in this item series is pretty much the same pose so I'll get almost the same chance soon. : - This armor's inclusion might be subtle, but I like how the whole thing works. This mask is awesome, I need to use it more often. : - this is such a silly item, and this pose is patently ridiculous. So I tried to use sdplus dolls to make it look like a Final Fantasy encounter! : - I originally had a weird mermaid creature done for this, buuut I forgot to save it. So here's a crazy pegasus thing instead! : - Wearing beads in hair in an odd way made me think of hippie culture for some reason, so that was part of the inspiration for this. : - A bit of a tame/not scary use of this item, but these leather bottoms are so tiny, I found they worked nicely as part of a basic outfit. : - This is such a weird avatar. I started playing with color and texture, and this ended up like some very odd costume. It's odd, but I find it weirdly visually appealing. : - I wish there was a name for this slightly greener teal, as there's a small handful of older items that use it and I have trouble finding anything else that works. It's not quite apatite, but it does look good with it. : - I wanted to make a holiday avatar, and realized the best nose to use was the Bad Moon one. So it's out of usual order but I'm happy with it! : - another avatar out of series, but I wanted to improve on my tree from two years ago. So here's this year's christmas tree avatar!
