Philip was out picking up dinner from the cook at the inn, he decided to get about four times the amount of food he normally got. That Felix fellow seemed rather thin and also seemed like a mooch...so he would most likely eat way more than his fair share.

Meanwhile, Nora was home alone in the basement. She was working on a painting of a nighttime landscape and was liking how it was coming out. Paint covered her clothes and face. She sighed and stepped back from the painting and nodded to herself, it looked decent. She looked outside through the tiny window in the basement and saw the sun was near setting. Meaning it was probably almost time for her dad to come home with food. She climbed up the stairs to get herself a glass of water and sit down at the table and wait.

Nora nearly dropped her glass when she heard the knock. Did her father forget the key? Or lose it? He had never knocked before and just always came in...Nervously she stood up and peaked out of the window and spotted three people she didn't know. She ran back and grabbed a kitchen knife then went back to the door.."Who are you? Go away! I don't know you!" she yelled angrily through the door.

Nora scowled and peered out the window again seeing the strange cat girl and let out a small squeak and closed the curtains. She pondered for a moment, her father normally didn't invite people over. The only person who came to their house was her Aunt Alice. Though the man did know her name....and her dad might talk about her to a coworker. Though she was sure he would tell her in advanced if she was going to have company. "Hmm..No. I don't believe you. Go away. " she said firmly scowling. "Shoo now! Or wait out there til my dad gets home. It shouldn't be too long. You can wait or leave. Your choice." she said simply.

Nora had now sat on the floor near tears hearing they were going to break the door down. How had the man even know her name? Who were these people! They probably wanted to break in and rape and murder her and then loot the entire house!

Philip walked towards the house carrying about three bags of food. He frowned seeing three people instead of the one he was expecting standing outside his door. Luckily he had gotten plenty extra expecting the man to bring the appetite of three people. The two girls with Felix were very attractive and couldn't help but to smile to himself, well if the company his new employee kept then he was happy to have him around. His smile faltered when he saw the two lovely ladies seemed upset.He inhaled sharply and scowled. Nora wasn't expecting company and Nora didn't do well with unexpected company.

He reached the door and wiggled between the small crowd outside and knocked lightly on the door. "Nora honey, could you please open the door. My hands are full and my...er friends and I would like to come in for dinner.Sorry I didn't let you know ahead of time, they got here earlier than I expected." Nora peaked her head out from behind the curtains to see if it was really her dad and not some weird magic trick. When she saw it was him she unlocked the door and opened it slowly looking shyly at the strangers her face flushed embarrassed at how she had acted.

Phil walked in the house and Nora quickly shut the door behind him. She gave them all small polite smiles and small waves, nervous about what to say seeing as she had not talked to a stranger in months now. Phil raised an eyebrow at the comments of what they were to each other. The two woman he was traveling with were both very attractive, well...really hot would be the right word for at least one of them. And Felix hadn't showed any real interest in Nora ...the man must be a gay! That made him feel slightly more comfortable bringing him into his home.

"Well, I'll just unpack dinner" He carried the food into the room and began unpacking the food. He had gotten a roast beef, roast vegetables, dinner rolls, a few trout and several other things. Nora looked nervously at the two girls exploring her house, she didn't want these strangers to touch her things! Her eyes darted to Felix ."So uhm. How long have you worked for my dad?" secretly wondering what things he had heard about her.

Nora frowned slightly and looked towards the kitchen for a moment. "That doesn't sound like my dad..." she said uncomfortably. Alice and Phil kept all of her fathers mishaps away from Nora's sweet little innocent ears. And that wasn't really much time to hear anything about her besides superficial things anyways. She already wasn't very fond of this man. She looked down nervously and frowned. " Well uhm...read sometimes. Uh, do some paintings just for fun and uh uhm... " she hadn't had someone ask her this before and she didn't like it.

Philip had finished setting out the food when he heard the proclimation of booze. "Hey! I said you could come over for dinner! Not booze! Wait I didn't even say you could come over for dinner!" he called out angrily.

Nora looked up for a moment then looked away again and let out a small huff of nervous breath. The only people she had shown her paintings to were her father who showed mostly disintrest in them and Alice who was nice about them, but she could tell she didn't actually really like them. "Oh uhm I suppose so." she said timidly and led the man to the living room. Her dad had let her put up her favorite painting, it was a surreal painting of a moon above a darkened city. "Well there one is."

Philip frowned and gave a small shrug, he supposed dinner normally did go with drinks, but it wasn't apart of his offer! He frowned at the woman "I'm not making Felix sleep anywhere. He asked to sleep in the store and I kindly said yes. My store isn't a shed. " he said scowling. "And all these rooms have a purpose. They aren't just empty rooms to let people I just met today sleep in."
