Kaneko led Philip down the path she took home every day, wall of flowers hanging down in front of them before she went through them, pulling Phil with her to reveal a nice little cottage and a small stream with a bridge going across it. "Here it is," she said with a smile, multiple different colors and kinds of flowers all around her house, some even growing on it. She led Philip inside, a quaint little living room the first to be seen. "You can make yourself at home, I'll start something to eat," the woman said, heading for her kitchen.

 Philip LindslyPhilip walked into the house and looked around, it was rather cute. He slipped his shoes off and put them in the corner not wanting to make her floor dirty. "Alright, well...that sounds fine." he wondered if she was any good at cooking.He made his way to the couch and sat down on it still looking around. He was wondering if he should of at least left a note or something for Alice.

Kaneko hummed to herself in the kitchen as she found something to make, eventually deciding she wanted eggs, bacon, and pancakes. It took her only a few minutes to make since she was used to making breakfast, even if she hadn't done so for anyone but herself in a few years. After finishing, Kaneko divided everything onto two plates and brought them into the living room, handing one to Philip. "I hope you like it. It's been a while since I've had to really cook for other people," she said before taking a bite of her eggs and sitting back into the couch some before standing up again and getting them a couple glasses of water.

PreposterousPanda Philip LindslyIt had been a long time since Philip had done something with his hookups other than hookup. He couldn't even remember the last time he had been to their house or even eaten with them. It was a bit strange to him, normally it was with people who were just passing through town and that he met at the inn.When she brought him his food he smiled at her and looked down at the food. "Huh, this actually looks pretty good." He took a bite of the pancake and bacon and nodded his head smiling. "It tastes just about as good as it looks, thank you." he ate a bit more trying to make himself feel comfortable but he just felt a bit out of place here.

Kaneko came back and sat back down, sitting the two glasses on the small coffee table in front of them and continued eating, slipping her shoes off and pulling her feet up beside her onto the couch and leaving into the corner of it. "Oh, if that woman finds you and tries to lock you up again, you can be honest and tell her it was me that got us out," she mentioned, finishing her eggs and bacon, going after the pancake now with a delightful sign of content.

Philip LindslyPhil continued eating dipping his bacon into the egg yolk and taking a few bites of pancakes. He leaned over and took a sip of the water and set it back down. "Mm this is all really nice." He made a small content sigh and leaned back on the couch. He shook his head and said "No no no...I can't let you do that. She might just get a little mad at me...Throw me in jail for a couple days..but well you know. Breaking out of the dungeon is actually a pretty big crime..." he said giving her a nervous smile. Normally he wouldn't mind someone else taking the fall for him but for some reason he didn't want her to. "She might actually try to throw the book at you. So don't worry about her" he said flashing her a grin

Kaneko shrugged when Philip denied her offer. "You should really tell her to check her emotions then. Throwing you around like a doll doesn't do anything except cause more damage," the woman said, irritated that the flower shop wall was all broken now. All those damaged plants, they were probably dry and needing water already. Her face continued to distort into a more irritated expression as she thought about it. "I'm starting to not like her very much..." she added, getting up and walking back into the kitchen, cleaning her plate off.

Philip LindslyPhil stood up with his empty plate and followed her to the kitchen "Yeah well..I can't say I'm too fond of her either, but well...she's really good with Nora." he said with a small frown and put the plate in the sink. "She's always had anger problems I just don't get why she's so...so...obsessed with me. " he said shaking his head. She always got mad every time she saw him with another women even though he had made it clear to her he would never be with her.

"Well, you did marry her sister... Kaneko said, washing the two plated before setting them on a cloth to dry. "Plus, you must've spent some time around her when you and her sister were together, she might've gotten the impression you liked her or something and just never got over it," she said, looking up at Philip. "At least I've heard of things like that happening, I could be completely wrong," the woman let out a small laugh.

Philip LindslyPhil grimaced at what she said. "B-but you think it would do the opposite! I mean, we were pretty much family! I didn't see her all that much!" he let out an angry sigh. "And she just doesn't get it, just...I feel like it would be a betrayal, you know? " he tried to find the way to express how he felt about it, but it was difficult. "Alice was always like..considered the prettier one and my wife just always was really self conscious about it and...well..she always been a b***h-Alice not my wife. I told her for years but...can't cut her out she's the closest thing to a mom Noras had"

Kaneko looked away some. "I get it, I do," she said quietly. "My mother divorced my father when I was around five years old because he decided my aunt was a better option. She wasn't as 'weird' as my mother, and then decided he was going to resent me for being like her," she was referring to her powers since her father hadn't had any. "See powers in my family run through the females in my family, usually the first born for some reason too, so he thought that since my aunt didn't have powers. she'd be a better mother," Kaneko hadn't told anyone anything like this aside from her old fiance and couldn't decide why she was telling Philip all of this. "So I can kind of understand her anger really, it just pisses me off that she takes it out on you," she added, her irritated tone coming back.

Philip LindslyPhil felt a bit uncomfortable with the girl divulging so much information to him, though he himself had spilled his guts to her. He wasn't really sure why but he felt he could tell her things. "Thats a stupid reason to resent you, just for having powers...Hell more than half the population have powers. It's more weird to not have powers than it is to have them." He said frowning. "Well..thats a bit mean to say but it's true" Nora had no powers. "I guess my situation would relate to that a bit more if I had ever dated Alice, or even hinted that I wanted to....So it doesn't really explain her anger! You think she'd respect her dead sister at least a bit more you know!"

Kaneko shrugged. "I suppose. I meet a lot of people without powers still actually," she said. "And you'd be surprised how long a woman can hold onto an obsession, especially when she's around you a lot because of your daughter. It'd be almost impossible for her to get over it unless she was away from you for a long time.... Kaneko thought for a moment. "Or she just needs to get plowed really badly," she added before walking back into the living room and sitting on the couch again.

Philip LindslyPhil gave a small shrug. "Eh around here pretty much everyone has powers, but I haven't really left town before" outside of town was full or murder and monsters. As he would often tell Nora. He followed her back to the living room and sat down on the couch putting his arm around her shoulder. "I can't see that happening....Nora and her are pretty close. I mean...Nora is an adult now and I guess they could hang out without me but...like I said Nora is a bit...er weird. She doesn't leave the house much, she gets scared. And this whole thing has not made it easier on her." he said with an annoyed sigh. He then let out a small lack. "Yeah well...It'll be hard for her to get plowed. She's not that nice to well...anyone. Always had a temper. "
