Alice Ramsy [ Outfit // Mood: Worried ]



Before they scaled to the island, Alice tied a rope against her waist and tied herself to Nora, in case the girl fell. She could easily use her strength to jump straight there, but she tried that once when Nora was very little. It was fun when she was a little girl jumping throughout the kingdom so she wanted to share her childhood with her. Nora didn't handle it well at all and none of the Lindsly seemed to appreciate that, and she hoped Nora forgot.

Alice climbed up the rope ladder, telling Nora to not look down and to not worry if she fell because she would catch her. Once they arrived to the top, she took a deep sigh in relief knowing they were safe. Who in the right mind would live on one of these? She wondered as she looked around at the crumbling ruins that they called their home. Alice walked to the door and knocked on it, waiting for one of them to answer.

Jack opened the large wooden doors, looking like he expected to see them, or at least Alice. He stepped out greeting them and closed the door behind him. His home wasn't ready for a search by the town guard just yet and didn't want to let them in. "What did she do?" He asked with a deep sigh, she had to had done something. Jack tried to talk to Manami, but she threw a fit and broke one of his projects. "Really what didn't she do?" Expecting them to tell him about assault allegations he would have to believe. The way that Manami had been acting lately he was concerned she would hurt someone soon.

Alice looked oddly at the nephalem. He seemed more than eager to help them. Alice explained Nora's situation to him, which Jack looked surprised and disappointed to hear. "Sounds good." He said finally. "I'm really sorry Nora. It's not like I can abort her now she's too old. She's, well you know, a monster." "Well she is an oni." Jack glared at Alice, having to defend Manami to remarks like that when they traveled.

"They age different?" She said suspiciously, assuming Jack knew that. With a sigh she explained to him. "They don't get much more mentally mature than that, but they do age slower, that's how they get so big. You really didn't-- Jesus." She wondered if she should take the mimic now while she had the chance. Jack shrugged. "Ah I'll look it up later, I bought a book years ago but haven't gotten around to it..." For the last six years. "Just go get her." "Right-o."

Jack went back into the ruins to find Nora. Alice kept her fingers between her eyes as she felt her mind hurt at that man. If he wasn't so compliant and helping them deal with Manami, she would raid his ruins now to know what else he's harboring irresponsibly! "OK, so he's going to get Manami, do you know what to say?" Asked Alice, not knowing how easy it would be to convince her.

Alice wasn't sure how Manami would react to see her, she didn't know the girl very well other that she was a stalker. "If you really feel like it might help, I'll hide in those bushes over there and make sure everything's OK." She told the girl, "You can do this Nora. I'm.. going to give you some bad advice." Alice did this on occasion, if her way wasn't always the most honest she would warn Nora.

"You know her, you can say anything you need to that you think would help. It's OK to lie here, we're putting her in a cell as soon as this is over, and after that we'll make sure she never bothers you again." Kyven was getting a bit fat, even if she only met him recently, he could use guarding duty. "Honestly? She's a hormonal oni, it shouldn't be too hard." Winked Alice, knowing that Nora would understand.

The door creaked behind them, Alice quickly hugged Nora and scuttled into the bushes. Manami looked irritated at first, being forced to come out here by Jack. He stood a short distance behind her. The oni's eyes lit up seeing Nora, throwing her arms around the girl and squeezing her. "Oh Nora! What are you doing here? Jack-- pops, said that you wanted to talk to me, I thought he was goofing me but you're here!"

Manami felt like her heart skipped a beat, her eyes watering as Nora said what she had been dreaming of since the first night they met. "R-really?" She sniveled happily. Jack, who stood behind Manami, couldn't help but to facepalm. Did Nora have to bring her psychotic hopes up so high? "T-that would make me the happiest oni in the whole realm Nora, of course I would! We can live happy normal lives together, and be normal and get married!" Jack cringed hearing Manami spew craziness, it was for the best...

Alice's eye twitched hearing Nora, much like Jack she felt it too much. Couldn't she have offered a boob touch? That's what she would have done.

Manami twirled happily to face Jack. "Can I? Please can I be free and live with Nora?!" Pleaded the girl. Jack felt a crushing feeling in gut, he had never seen her smile so happily before. "Of course." He said with a half-smile.

The two performed the ritual, holding their hands to their chest. Their bodies illuminating as a piece of each's soul floated back to each other. Manami fell onto her knees afterwards, panting in pain. It felt like the life was drained out of her, her body shaking as it tried to adjust to it's now weakened and normal state. She pulled herself up to her feet. Feeling how weak her body truly was. "It.. it worked?" Manami asked, Jack nodded sadly, having gained some of his own power back at the cost of one of the best familiars he could have asked for. He trained her to be a killing machine for six years, all gone over her dating the wrong girl.

With the widest smile she's ever had, she turned to Nora and lunged at her arms wide open. Tearing up in pure joy. "Nora I'm normal now, we can be happy!"

Manami felt a feeling she had not experienced since she was a child, being too weak to do anything. When Nora took her arms off she looked shocked at her. Her words began piercing through her, one by one, her body shaking. "W-what?" She let out in disbelief. "N-no that's not right. W-we're happy aren't we?" Asked Manami as she backed up. "We're still dating aren't we? We don't have to move in right away--"

Jack shook his head and sighed. He was hoping Manami would accept it, but she seemed to be spiraling fast. There was a lot more calm now though, it wasn't like she could go on a rampage like she could before. He needed her to willingly end the contract with her, if not he would have done it days before.

"W-why are you doing this? I love you Nora, you can't do this to me, you <******** b***h!" Manami was in tears, grinding her teeth angrily. Her hands firmly into fists. With an angry scream she lunged at the girl, in an effort to hit her.

'Well that escalated quickly' Jack thought, seeing what he knew was Manami about to attack someone, and did so. The girl was becoming predictably angry, almost savage. Perhaps spending some time in the dungeon would be good for her, he would have enough time to read the oni book and learn how to handle her.

Manami fell hard, feeling pain in a way she didn't imagine before. She looked behind her at Jack, her eyes deranged and watery. "M-master we have to get out of here, I don't want to stay here anymore! W-we have to go." Jack shook his head. "You're not my familiar anymore Manami, you're my kid and this is good for you." Good for me? How could this be good for me!

"Surprise ********!" Alice jumped out from the bushes. Her face covered in flower petals from forbs that she found. She couldn't resist forbs. Alice threw a crystal at Manami, breaking into a magical rope that binded the girl in place. Manami began panicking and screaming at the top of her lungs. "We're taking her to the dungeon for awhile--" Alice began, seeing Jack nodding in agreement. "Kind of figured." Jack pet Manami's head between her horns. "I'll pick you up in a few days OK?" Manami screamed obscenities at him and them until her voice went rasp.

Jack handed them a helpful teleportation crystal to get back down instantly, before heading back into his keep. Chloe the whole time had been stuffed into a crate, she had been meowing loudly the whole time wanting to help Manami. If she were out she would have easily tried to kill them thinking Manami's screams were of her in pain. The monster wasn't very smart though, and didn't know how to open crates. Jack had planned to keep her in there all night to prevent her from looking for Manami.

"No, please no, this can't be happening to me..." Sobbing Manami finally, her voice cracking. "Nora please, I'm sorry I won't do any of that again, I mean it, I can't even, please I'm sorry!"
