  During this time, the entire town is decorated for the occasion. While the main event is held in the Necromancer's Tower ballroom. There is dancing there, along with a skeleton band playing music. Tables and chairs are around the ballroom, and food is served by the undead kitchen. Costumes aren't required, although everyone in town dresses up for the occasion.

Alice had arrived early to the tower, normally she had to patrol the city streets on festivals. Today she managed to convince Nora to leave the house and meet more people, if she knew more about people she would know which ones to avoid and how to spot them. Shifting a few people's shifts around, she had a larger amount of guards on the streets, and less in the tower Confident she could handle most altercations on her own. Walking into the ballroom she had to help set up the undead army in usual spots to patrol with her. Greeting the Necromancer in the ballroom. They were both short with each other, their relationship was strained at best. Annthea ran the city well, or well enough, but she couldn't help but to distrust her for being a Necromancer. They weren't well known for their kindness.

Philip Lindsly [ Costume ] Nora Lindsly [Costume ] Kyven Lemons Costume ] Darius Luepi [ Costume ] Nora and Philip arrived at the ball. Philip was wearing the costume he wore every year for the past 5 years, it had come to be his favorite. He was smiling around excited for the nights activities. There was always a costume contest and lots of free food and drinks. Pretty much every year he went it always ended with some good old fashioned adult fun...Though with Nora here it might be a bit different he had to keep a somewhat close eye on her. Nora was pouting the entire way there, trying to squirm her way out of it. Ranging from she was sick (Phil gave her a cure all) to that she would hate him forever if he made her go. None of it worked and here she was wearing the costume he bought for her a few years ago. At least it still fit. Kyven walked in shortly after Nora and Phil, his face was plastered with makeup and it would be difficult to tell that he was even a he. Daruis arrived around the same time as Kyven accidentally bumping into him "Ah uhm excuse me miss.." Kyven let out a small giggle before saying in a very masculine deep voice "Don't worry about it doll, how about a kiss to make up for it." he reached up on his tip toes puckering his lips. Daruis drew back and he tried not to grimace he was just caught off guard. "Ah uh no thanks." he said as he quickly made his way towards the buffet table

Alice approached the family that entered, and greeted the three. "Glad you came after all." Said Alice to Nora with a proud smile. She looked over at the woman that came in shortly after the two. "Oh hey." Spoke out Alice with a confused look as she noticed the woman looked familiar. "Huh, you're not related to Kyven are you? You look a bit like him." She asked wondering if she was a sister he never told Alice about. Sneaking up behind Philip, Jack tapped the man on the shoulder. He placed his hands on his hips and looked at him annoyed. "Well." Breathed out Jack, wearing the same exact costume as Philip. "One of us is going to have to change." Unable to hide his smirk he started to snigger. Jack had asked around for what Philip wore for All Hallows' Eve, turned out Philip wore the same costume every year, one he had custom made on the previous night.

Kaneko and Fae walked into the ballroom together, having been chatting and such. They'd met earlier on the streets when Kaneko had stopped her to ask about Fae's costume, leading them to start their way towards the festival together. Unbeknownst to Kaneko, who was treating Fae as a younger woman, the fairy girl was actually older, her human form just didn't look it. They gazed around the room, Fae feeling extremely uncomfortable around everyone while Kaneko enjoyed the presence of so many. Having seen Philip in the dog outfit, she sighed. "I'll be right back... I have to go greet my boss," the woman said, Fae nodding, before talking off towards Philip before noticing Jack in the same outfit, letting out a laugh as she approached them. "D-don't you two look like a great pair," she said sarcastically through laughter. Fae hung back towards the walls, feeling extremely anxious about everyone before seeing Darius at the buffet and quickly going over to him. "H-hello," she said, blushing some, extremely embarrassed about her costume.  [spolier]

"Yeah I guess I'm here." she shot a glare at her dad. "Not like I had much of a choice anyways. " she mumbled crossing her arms. When Alice spoke to Kyven he gave her a confused look, he may be wearing make up and a dress but he still had his face and his voice, and he had been working with the woman for a week. He let out a little titter and place his hand to his mouth. "Oh yes I'm Kyvens sister! He's never mentioned me?" he asked in his man voice. Phil gave a small jump and turned around, he still couldn't help but to be jumpy after the disturbing conversation he had with Manamoi in the cell. When he saw it was just Jack he relaxed a little bit before noticing what he was wearing. "Oh come on! You did this on purpose I know you did!" He snarled and huffed lightly. When Kaneko approached them he narrowed his eyes and scowled. "He did this on purpose! Look what he did! This is my costume..." he said in a pouty voice. ---- Daruis already had a small plate of food and was chewing on some shrimp when he saw Fae. He smiled widely and nodded to her. "Oh hello Fae! " he looked her costume up and down and gave a small satisfied nod. "That's a very pretty dress you have on, what is it suppose to be? A princess?" he asked with a smile

"Nope! Never even talked about out." Alice said happily. To think Kyven had a twin sister in town - someone who must be visiting if she hasn't met them yet, he didn't really say much other that he was six feet tall. "He's mostly just a creepy little perv at work, so I don't talk to him much. Oh! I'm Alice by the way, you are...?" Alice had one massive flaw, if someone wore a wig she couldn't tell who the person was. This coincidence has made the Black Market filled with people with goofy wigs, in case of a bust. Jack rolled his eyes, "Really think I would go to the trouble of doing this? Really?" He would and did. "Hey Nora, looking good." Said the man, taking out a small box from the satchel he carried with him everywhere. "For you." It contained a rare little thing he picked up from the Black Market. It was legal, but stolen and peddled here by a merchant. A one-handed crossbow made of magic glass. After the ordeal with Manami, he felt she could use a weapon and neither of her family members were helping her learn to defend herself. Hearing a strange girl say he and Jack made a great pair, he grinned toothily. "Oh you know, we try." Wrapping one of his arms around the fairy. Edit: omg sorry I didn't notice ;w;

Kaneko laughed some more. "Well, this is a costume party. Everyone is entitled to wearing something, and no one said there was a rule you had to all be different," she said, taking out a flask from her bag and drinking on it. "Want some?" she asked the two men. Although there was alcohol at the party, Kaneko enjoyed making her own, which she brought to most parties. It was basically moonshine, a very pure alcohol. Fae blushed some at Darius' comment. "N-no I'm actually a dark fairy," she said with a small laugh, knowing it was ironic for her to dress up as one of her own species. "You look good as a pirate," she said, looking up at him with a smile. Seeing some fruit in the buffet, she took a plate and got a few pieces, mainly strawberries and blueberries. Briben had entered the party somewhat unnoticed by most people since he was quite short and looked like a child. His green and red costume seemed to blend in with a few others. The gnome, having heard today was a festival, decided to stop by the village and maybe talk with some of the natives while during his travels. He mingled among the crowd, cracking jokes and the like.

And was enough to warent calling him a little perv? And yet here she was standing here being friendly with a pink haired fairy that had exposed himself in a bar! His face flushed in anger and he glared at the sheep girl. "I'm kyvenia. " he said flatly and crossed his arms. "And you just don't know him! He's the opposite of a perv! He's sweet and kind and nice and doesn't expose himself in bars trying to get a three way with a guy and a girl like some kind of degenerate!" he said shooting a glare at Philip. Phil kept the bitter look on his face with his arms crossed. "Yeah well it was my thing. I'm the puppy. Me" he said in a whiny voice. He eyed the flask in the girls hand and took it taking a swig from it. The moonshine burned as it went down his throat and he let out a few coughs and handed back the flask. "Holy hell woman what is that? It tastes like dragon piss!" He was used to girly fruity drinks and that was not what he was used to, his face was red with holding back more coughs. Nora uncrossed her arms and looked at the crossbow with a small smile on her face. She took it and tilted it looking at it glimmer in the light. "Thank you jack...It's really pretty but uh...I've never used one of these before... Suppose I should start practicing with...well you know" she said with a worried look on her face. Daruis let out a small laugh not missing the irony of her costume. Though seeing the outfit she wore as a fairy he had kind of assumed all faries dressed like that. His face flushed slightly at the memory. "Ah well thats cool I didn't know there were dark faries...But it looks good on you. The colors and everything they look nice." he said nervously rubbing the back of his head. "Ah well thank you. I couldn't really decide so I just went with this." he said motioning down to his outfit.

Alice felt bad for poor little Kyvenia, to have almost an identical name than her brothers' and an ugly one to boot. "That's a uh, lovely name." Alice said in the awkward tone she always had when lying. She was taken back by her sudden outburst defending her brother. "He talked about his d**k though, pervs do that. And I'm not saying Phil here isn't a creepy perv either." She said defensively. "What is it with guys and talking about their dicks." Alice also shot a glare at Philip, remembering he planned to sleep with two people. Those damn bisexuals, half of the population wasn't enough for them, they had to have all of them! "Selfish." she said under her breath, eyes narrowed at him. Jack eyed the girl oddly when she handed Philip a drink. It could easily carry poison or some type of hallucinogen. Either way he took some with a thanks and swigging it, at first surprised at it's taste, but took a good helping anyway. "Don't mix that stuff with milk, trust me." He said with a chuckle. "Did I ever get your name? If I did I forgot, name's Jack." Jack introduced himself to the shop store assistant. He nodded at Nora, "Practice would help, it's made out of magic glass and it's enchanted to change forms, as long as you can think of the object you need it will turn into it." He personally liked crossbows most of all and gave it to her in that form. "if it's a bow or crossbow it fires magic orbs, they do some homing but knowing how to aim would help. You can also charge shots, that fires six orbs at once if you do." Jack had played with it a little after using it, and had a lot of fun in the woods. But he figured the girl could use an easy weapon like that than he could. Alice glanced over at what Jack handed Nora and came up to them. "Hold on one second." She said as she stood in front of the two and looked at the gift he gave him. Glaring at the man. The magic glass weapon went missing from a merchant overseas a week ago, of course Jack had it. She looked at Nora for a moment, thinking over how she could use something to defend herself with and sighed. Putting up her best smile. "That's really nice, what are you going to name it?" With a raised brow, Jack wanted to tell her only cunts named their weapons, but didn't want to be arrested so early.

Kaneko giggled, watching Philip cough from her concoction and taking it back after Jack had his drink. "You really can't handle your drink," she told Philip with a small grin, taking another drink of her own. "I'm Kaneko. This one doesn't know my name either," she said, pointing at the pink haired man and looking up at him with hr different colored eyes, one blue and one green. She noticed Alice and Nora, somewhat interested in what they were talking about but more interested in the two men in front of her. Fae let out a small smile. "Just like elves, we have dark versions too. Although, unlike you, most of our dark fairies are actually mean and such, basically like harpies," she said before blushing at the compliment, eating a couple of the strawberries. "I've never met a pirate before but I've read about them. Swashbuckling stories and what not, it seems exciting," The girl said with an excited giggle as she looked for a drink.

"Well I'm sure he only did it once. And it probably wasn't even that bad of a joke or even directed at you. He clearly wasn't hitting on you. I mean...you're so tall anyways. Must be hard to get a date." he said coldly. Though it was very hard for him to get a date being so short... "But aparently Phil is more the kind of guy you go for, you don't want them talking about it just-just showing it in public! That your thing, is it? Having them whip it out and smack you right in the face eh?!" he said in a snarky tone. Phils face reddened when his inability to drink hard liquor was pointed out. He could only handle the sweet stuff. "I-its not my fault. I'm part fairy. We have delicate pallets. You wouldn;t understand." he said defensively. His face went redder when he remembered that he didn't even know the name of the woman he hired and he scowled at her for outing him on that fact. How come when he went out anywhere he was bullied?! "Well I would of learned it eventually...I'm Phil! Bet you didn't know that either!"Noras smile grew as she heard more about the weapon. "Oh man...thats really amazing! Thank you so much Jack." she said beaming at him "F-for everything you know..." she said meaning helping with freeing her from the crazy oni. She looked at the weapon a bit more until she said "Hmmm...Light Slinger!" she said proudly. Daruis smiled a bit "Well...Dark elves do have a bit of a dark history. We weren't always on the right side of history...With the whole trying to genocide other species of elves and then most of them being driven under ground and then the cannibalism that followed..." he trailed off frowning then blushed slightly. "B-but you know most of us aren't like that anymore now.." he said with a nervous laugh. "Yeah pirates were fun to read about in fantasy stories...not so much in history but you know history sucks the fun out of most things " he said,noticing she was looking for something he took a step back from the table hoping she'd find what she was looking for.

Annthea had been mostly setting up the skeleton band, telling them to start playing and giving them music sheets to follow. This undead band used to be a living band in Elderahn, until their wagon fell off a cliff and they all died. Even in death they rock. She looked around at the villagers, having spent only a week a season in her hometown until her eventual escape from the north. Meeting and greeting while people were in costumes seemed easier in her mind, but she couldn't tell anyone apart. She looked over at Briben, who was dressed completely wrong. Was he one of the gnomes that they hired for the Yule? She approached the small man, and looked at him oddly. "No no, we're hiring your company for next season." She said to the gnome. "This is the All Hallows' Eve dance."~~ Jack facepalmed hearing that Philip didn't know her name. "You really hired someone and didn't even get their name?" He sighed, the man was hopeless. "It's not too late for you to run Kaneko. Have you two even discussed pay? How sure are you he won't pay you in laughter and cheer?" Said Jack, referring to the job. "No problem Nora." He said simply the girl needed the help. "You should consider taking some classes at the Academy, not any stupid educational ones, no one needs those, but good ones like combat. Might help you out a lot." Alice frowned, seeing that Jack was giving her some sage advice, perhaps bartending did that to people? Either way she told Nora it was a great name, and said she was going to go talk to her 'new' friend, going over back to Kyvenia. Alice seemed flustered at the hobbit woman, she seemed to know a lot about what happened. Twins did gossip though, unless they shared a telepathic twin connection like she read in a novel. "You don't have to get graphic! I was talking to my niece." She said in offense. Kyven was fairly new in town, and might not have known Philip was her niece's father. She crossed her arms, glaring at the small woman. "Don't you tell me about getting dates, I could date if I wanted too. I'm just.. too busy with work all of the time." Willingly too, she worked all day due to having no social life.

Kaneko grinned and got close to Philip, basically leaning on him some. "Oh I know your name, Philip Lindsly. The "pink haired man who got sent to the dungeon for indecent exposure"" Kaneko laughed some, repeating what she heard a few people around the village talk about after Alice had pulled him out of the tavern that night. "You... you showed your d**k to this man and another woman...." Kaneko was talking through laughs, motioning to Jack before taking another drink from her flask. Fae listened to Darius. Hearing what he said, she realized that a lot of species had a darker side to some of their sub-races. She was glad to hear that mot dark elves weren't like that anymore, unable to say the same thing for dark fairies. "I used to love reading some of the stories that humans thought up. Although they aren't great anymore, the human race itself is very imaginative," she said, finally seeing a cup and a punch bowl, getting herself a glass and taking a drink, unknowing that it had already been spiked so early in the night. "This tastes funny, what kind of punch is it?" she asked, taking another drink. Briben looked up at Annthea in a slight confusion before giving her a smile. "Oh, yes, I've heard. I'm actually here for that." he said, motioning to his costume. "I'm suppose to be an elf for Santa," he said with a laugh, although most people he talked to didn't get it unless they were half human. "It is a nice party," he added, looking around.

A waking skeleton with drinks on a tray and phil snapped up one of the pink bubbly ones. "And I'm going to pay her with money," he said frowning taking a small sip. Philips face turned bright red when Kaneko brought up the night he was arrested. "H-hey they asked! They practically begged to see!" though they really didn't they just wouldn't bang him unless he did, with that thought in mind he let out a huff of anger. "A-and not like they were disappointed! " He said taking a small sip ~~ Nora slipped the crossbow in her belt and pondered on it for a bit. Maybe she should learn how to defend herself, seeing as she didn't seem to have any powers...Manami wasn't the only crazy person. The world was in war now and more and more strangers were coming to town. Maybe learning how to fight would make it easier for her. Her face went red with embarrassment as she heard what her dad was talking about. She grimaced and walked away from the group not wanting to hear more of what he had to say. ~~ Kyven crossed his arms and glared at the woman. "Oh suure you could date." he said with a sneer. "Date that pink haired little fruit right there!" he said pointing at Phil " Just he doesn't want to date you! H-he'd rather date that girl or that man he's talking to, or both of them! Isn't that the man he showed his willy to?" he said with a small smirk. "Do you know what you are Alice? You're a female cuck. He's probabaly going to bang that guy tonight! They even dressed up in matching costumes! They probably love each other!" as soon as the words left his mouth it occured to him that he went too far. But it was already out there. Nothing to take the words back. Besides she called him a weird little pervert... ~~ Daruis smiled and nodded. "Yes those humans do like to think up wild stories..." Though now with the war it seemed they were using that for evil, telling tales of how other species were nothing but monsters who ate humans and stole women to do vile things with them. He didn't want the topic to turn to the war though tonight. He looked at the punch and grabbed himself a cup of it and took a sip. "Huh...it does taste a little odd..." it was a type of booze he hadn't had before so he didn't recognize it for what it is. "Maybe they used some foreign fruit or strange spices." he said taking another sip.
