Annthea's portal took them to the entrance of the city, beneath the stairway leading into the floating city. She waited for the two for a moment, seeing Helga and Nora appear around the same time. "Have you two been here before?" Asked the demoness. Helga shook her head nervously. "I would imagine not, there's nothing here for those who can't afford it." Helga felt a stab at the insult, but stayed quiet since the woman was helping them and offering to buy them clothes.

Annthea scoffed hearing that she didn't have to buy them things. "I believe that I do sweetie." She said back to her as she lead them to the alchemist district. "Are you forgetting I am very rich? Do you even know my house's motto? Screw the rules we have money?" Each major house had a motto, their's was proven the best in polls that Elderahn held. Stopping in front of a massive three story apothecary. "Now I have to go to my bank, so.." She reached into her coin purse and placed some coins into their hands. "That should cover the unicorn horn."

Annthea, much like Jack, didn't count money. They instead handed it to people and told them to keep the change. Amounting to them giving gold in exchange for copper, and mythril instead of gold. Annthea had handed them two adamantium each, and four mythril coins. Totally to 5,000 copper or 500 gold coins. More money than Val had ever held at once before. Having never held anything more than a gold coin. The mythril one she looked into, it had stars inside of it and looked like a galaxy. While the other one looked a lot more plain, looking more like a rock from a meteor and not as pretty as gold. It did give off an odd vibration she couldn't explain.

"I'll be taking some more coins out to spoil you two. I can't be friends with people that dress like a couple of adventurers now can I? Nope, I cannot. If we want our best friendship to flourish Nora, you will allow me to buy you things." She said with a nod. "Wait for me over there when you're done." She pointed past the entrance of the alchemist district, to a small park that had four paths; each leading to a different district. "Good luck..." She said as she started flying a bit, then added. "By the way, you can buy them legally in there." And took off to her bank.

Seeing her leave, Val turned to Nora and held up the coins. "What the ******** is this?!" She said in a gasp, and quickly put them away. Feeling too unsure to be holding so much money at once. It could buy them multiple houses!

Val looked angrily at the man as he asked them that. Of course we couldn't! Look at how we're dressed! She thought to herself. "Uh, we're looking for a unicorn horn..." She decided to ask. The man rolled his eyes, expecting a couple of lookie loos. He reached behind the counter and took out a large sparkling horn inside of a glass case with a price tag of 100. "Erm, how many of these is that...?" She asked holding up the blue coin. "I'm not breaking that if you don't get anything else." He said with a gruff voice. Val then had an idea, looking over at Nora. "Wait, we're in a fancy potion shop, couldn't we buy the potion here instead?"

"Guess we're looking around aimlessly?" Val asked with a bright smile, she loved looking at things. Potion shops were never something she had gone into to begin with. They were mostly for nerds after all. There were three floors of isles with potions of all colors, Val wouldn't know where to shop. "Erm, we're looking..." She asked the counter guy again. "For something that reveals hidden abilities, and nice stuff for her boyfriend."

The man pointed them down an aisle he called 'the one for the reject' and then said the second floor had ingredients. Val took offense by that, and walked down the aisle. It was mostly things useful for people like her without powers, to temporarily give them some abilities. There she saw a vial Nora would find familiar and took it. "Yess! Here it is, only 50 coins too..."

Val took four of them, wanting to make sure she had enough for it to work. "Well, what would Jack do if he wanted to get you something he didn't know about?" She asked with a shrug, thinking that would help her. What she did not know, was Jack did that early in their relationship. He didn't know anything about painting and bought her one of everything. A task much easier to do in a paint store than an alchemist's shop. "Or! We can get expensive things, seems like his family likes expensive things..."

"What about phoenix feathers?" Val said, thinking that sounded cool and useful. "And a hydra tooth!" She walked over to the portal that lead to the second floor. While there she wanted to see what other weird alchemist stuff they had. Alchemists were such strange nerds! Walking down she saw an eyeball in a jar that followed her around. "Or this weird thing!"

"Yep looks good!" Val said brightly, taking hold of Nora's hand. She led them back downstairs through the same portal. "Well, time to pay the man." She said to Nora, all of what she bought would get her a few gold coins in change if she used a mythril coin.

Meanwhile in the center of town Annthea sat down at the park bench. She had went to the bank and grabbed a few hundred gold coins to buy them some clothes. As she sat there she wondered what was taking them so long. then her mind began drifting onto her human boy...
