That means all members are required to speak English. Yes, required! Ocassional typos are of course forgiven. However, continous misspelling and syntax genocide will no longer be tolerated. It is clear that some make no effort to type in correct English. This must change! Learn English or be banned. That is all. 3nodding

I know that when Xuco and I go through the join requests we have been turning down people who have murdered the english language in their post. Personally for me I turned down people who have any combination of the following: Multiple spelling errors Lack of punctuation Lack of capitalization or their message is just insane mumblings not related at all to the topic (FLCL)
Generally if they just don't punctuate or if it is just one or two spelling mistakes I let it slide. I also don't mind 1337 as long as the rest of the request seems to have some thought put into it.
I know I have turned down at least 6 people in the last 20 or so and one of them PMed me back slightly confused as to why their request was denied. I did explain in the PM that the guild requires some thought be put into the posts so that it is decently legible to the rest of it. I'll check again too but Xuco and I were talking about adding some request requirements and I was hoping their could be some discussion on what request should be approved and what requests should be denied.
