Name - James!
Age - 31(old AF)
Location - Ontario Canada.(eh?)
-A few years ago I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome. A very complex disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your preferal nervous system, paralyzing your whole body leaving you in consistent immense pain.
I was hospitalized for over a year and lost all function from my neck down. I couldn't even breathe on my own. Now that im on the other side of it Im out to get the most out of life while playing some kick a** games along they way, why not join me?
Im a friendly, furry friend to anyone smile my avatar gender swaps a lot. just looking for artistic inspiration. <3

I was thinking just a simple but pretty layout & description of the guild... Ideas are welcome. Also maybe a few banners we could use for the guild and for a guild advertisement thread so more members can be drawn in. ^^

Hello everyone! My name is Jessica, but you can all call me Jess ^_^
Im 29 years old and I'm from Montreal, Quebec, Canada!
I became a member on Gaia back in 2004 and have been an active member since then.
I've always enjoyed playing video games, shopping (very typical girl thing lol), cosplay for conventions, watch anime, cooking, baking, swimming, biking, watch movies, and just having a good time with friends.
The two first games I ever played was one of the first Sonic the Hedgehog games on the Sega Genesis when I was 6, then later on at the age of 10 played the very first Super Mario Bros on the NES.
My favorite memory playing video games was when I first discovered Spyro the Dragon on the first Playstation console when I was 11 ^_^
Music has always been a huge part of my life heart
My two biggest passions are singing and dancing; been singing since I was 7 and dancing since I was 15.
Growing up, I've been in 3 different choirs, been in plays and musicals, participated in variety shows up until the age of 24 and even participated in a singing competition, which I won 3rd place.
For dancing, I've taken lessons for hip hop, classical ballet, ballet jazz, salsa, ballroom, and belly dancing.

Welcome to Grown Gaians, Jess! Glad to have you with us! You gave quite an informative introduction. Nice to meetcha! We have a lot in common interests-wise. Video games are a huge part of my life, as well as anime and I've started doing my own "lazy cosplays" when I can. I've done a punk-rock lolita neko cosplay. But characters are hard for me to do cosplays of. I may do a character one as Nora from RWBY, though, since she's like... an embodiment of what I'd be like as a RWBY character. XD

my name is kenzie, im gonna be 21 super soon (june 9th, ahhh dramallama )
im a philosophy major at a big urban college
im taking summer classes right now, the sociology of mental health and disorders and human spirituality
i'm super into reading and documentaries and having fun!
i also have a pet rabbit who is the coolest, his name is Oxford smile

I love RWBY as a show, too! So many great characters and character development! And I'd love to cosplay as Yang. Since I'm a spaz for puns and make my family and friends groan from the puns I make. I'm glad you introduced yourself! And although you've been in the guild for a while and are such a big help as the guild family's VC, I still want to extend a big warm welcome to you! I'm glad you're here with us and to help our guild family grow! & I hear ya on the careful with people on Gaia and online. I've had some bad experiences on Gaia, myself. But then there are also awesome, genuinely friendly and kind people who are a huge blessing to meet. Welcome, Kenzie! I'm super happy you applied to join and to have you here with us in the guild family! It's wonderful to have you with us! And you're turning 21 on June 9th? Woot-woot! Congrats! When I make the Birthday thread, I'll add your B-day so we can congratulate and send you B-day presents~! Let us know if there's anything colors/color scheme-wise or theme-wise that you'd be interested in! (So we can still surprise you!) A philosophy major? That's awesome! & I'm impressed you're taking summer classes on mental health/disorders & human spirituality! I have a personal relationship with mental health 'issues', and disorders, but I've grown more as a person with them than if I hadn't had them. It might sound weird, but if I were offered ALL of my physical and mental health issues to be gone in a flash, I'd turn them down. Taking things away from me would make me a different person... And I'm proud of how far I've come in the 26 years I've spent on this planet dealing with my issues and growing through having them. I'm into reading a lot, myself, too. But one thing that's even more fun for me is to write. I write my own stories, poems, I took a shot at a haiku for mother's day to surprise my mom with. I love to draw chibis, and I'm getting better at them day by day. Your pet rabbit sounds adorable and I wanna see him~! Oxford is such a cute and very unique name for a rabbit, too! I've had mostly cats growing up. And one dog. But I did have a hamster that was an absolute GEM. Her name was Angel and she never bit me, she was so laid back she never got scared and had an accident on me, she let me hold her and cuddle her, and she was just the PERFECT little hamster. I loved her so much. I still have fond memories of her. She used to make little homes in her big hamster container from the chips and fluff we put in it. She was the sweetest hamster I'd ever met and I'm glad to have been able to have had her as my pet. Either way, welcome to the guild~! Hope you have a lovely and fun time with us! I just wanted to say thanks for such a warm welcome! and thanks for sharing that about your mental health, i've also had a personal struggle as have a lot of my family and friends. I love hearing that you wouldn't want to change anything about yourself and that your struggles have made you stronger and better and who you are. the majority of people i've met have felt this way, and it's just so reassuring and inspiring to me to get to be alongside people who evolve and grow and rise, especially after hardships! And if u post one of you drawings of a chibi, ill make sure to post one of Oxford! 4laugh
