Hi, everyone!

      I just wanted to make a brief announcement (notice? alert? addendum? ... post?) that affects the general running of the guild. After our "The Kin in the Hat" ends in early May, I will be retiring as captain and our beloved, sometimes headless shark overlord Aleye will be taking over.

      I'm not doing this because of any you-- I love our little community and will continue to be an active presence. However, "Real Life" responsibilities like my job, the small business I'm trying to start up, and my family life (which is less than stellar) have forced me to take a step back for the sake of my sanity. We're not super-active or high-maintenance, no, but I need a little me time and a little bit less responsibility at least in this one realm. sweatdrop I'm so sorry!

      That said, we'll possibly be looking for some additional crew or vice captains soon so if you're interested, be on the lookout for that as-yet hypothetical thread! It should have all the details. (You know, if it ever exists.) If you don't want to wait for that, send either Aleye or I a PM and we'd be happy to chat with you about it.
