The Family  The Mother Flidais is a quiet soul, patient and even-tempered. Overall, Flidais is a proper-mannered, spiritual mare and speaks in words of wisdom dotted with riddles that offer advice or life-lessons. There's an air of mystery about her and the things she does, tending to the trees and world around her with great diligence. She has a deep connection with nature and keeps to old traditions that involve the greater powers of the land. She has a deep respect for the natural world and pays her respects to the deities and spirits that reside in the trees, the rivers, and all things in-between. Flidais will be a loving mother, encouraging her children to pursue their wildest fancies. She is a nomadic creature, never lingering in one place for very long, though she does call several forests her home, and she will stay stationary to rear her kids properly. She will try to teach her children her spiritual ways, show them how the spirits guide them everyday, and try to instill a great respect of nature within them. Flidais believes that love is something that is meant to be shared and will have many life partners as she travel, each one special and important to her, and her children will grow in a very accepting, welcoming environment with half-siblings potentially crossing paths with them.  The Father In his own, humble, opinion, Cygnus is a dashing prince charming, a charmer, a silver tongue with the ladies. In truth, he has not once gotten the chance to test his belief on any real mares before. All of his sweet talking, smooth phrases have been given to the trees and rocks he decides to use as a 'practice dummy' for the day. His chances of coming off as charming as he thinks are more like 50-50 should he have the chance to put it into use. He's not tried giving the rocks a chance to speak back, to let him have an exact phrase to reply to, or even work in compliments on a mare's name, so he is just as likely to fumble as to succeed. But he does try, and he will keep trying, because that image of the charming boy he has in his mind must be achieved! After his time with Flidais, Cygnus feels much more confident in his aims of being charming, and hopes he can pass on his charming wiles to his kids. The Story
Flidais and Cygnus have a cute, simple story. Flidais happened upon Cygnus during her travels, and found him while he was practicing flirting with a tree. He caught her interest and Flidais found his attempts to be charming, well, charming. Over the course of time, their friendship developed and though they had no intentions of life-mating, they did find love between them.
Flidais and Cygnus continue to play wing-mare and wing-man for each other, helping one another catch the attention of the mare or stallion that has caught their eye.

Flidais and Cygnus will very much be involved in their children's growing up and would never leave one of their baskets unattended or left behind. Plots of adventurous young foals leaving home early are certainly fine, but please don't cut this basket out of its family. 3. One ticket per person. 4. There's something reverent about Kastor; as nomadic as his mother, he's shadowed her as she pays her respects to nature, to all the possible deities and spirits. They have names, faces, feelings, even if they can't understand them. Eventually, Kastor will travel off on his own... ...at least, until he finds some other traveller to wander with, to guide and protect until his hooves lead him away again. He's not-quite-charming in the conventional way, but he's clearly passionate, which makes him interesting—and interesting folk are enchanting.
