Ailani swam around the front area of her home, at a slow pace. She may have told her mom that she was gonna do some laps but she never said how fast she was gonna be going. She slowed down to a stop to take a bit of a breather. Ailani reached into her pocket and pulled out on eel, stuffing it into her mouth before she started up her laps again. "Eeeeeeellls." She said chewed up the eel and swallowed it. A grin spread across her face as she kept swimming along. Ailani rolled over and swam a bit on her back, slowly kicking her feet.
She glanced over at the windows and noticed a couple of her younger sibling staring at her training in awe, having never thought that this day would never come to pass. Ailani blinked and waved to them a bit. They small kids squeak and duck down behind the wall. "Such weirdos." She said and sighed.

Akamu had emptied the bag she normally carries her shells in and placed the shallow water meat in it. She walked along the path, following the direction that her father gave her to get to the people who ordered the meat from her father. "Kalauokalani is up first." She said and walked down the path, shifting the bag on her shoulder. "Dad never said what kind of meat this is. I wonder what it is." She said, her lure swaid as she walked. Her eyes glanced from side to side, gripping her spear, ready to defend the meat from any meat eater that would try to take it from her. Her father trusted her to take it to the people that wished for it to be delivered.
As she walked she heard someone swimming around. Akamu looked over and watched the fish girl swim in circles. She blinks and stares at they snarfs down an eel. Akamu walks over to her. "I don't think that's how you work out."

Ailani flinched and stopped swimming, coughing as she started to choke on an eel when she got startled. She coughed and slammed her own fist against her chest, coughing up the eel. She stares at it, catches it, and eats it again. Ailani paused and slowly looked at the other girl that had startled her before swallowing the chunks of eel that were still in her mouth. "Who are you and why are you here?" She asked, rolling onto her back.
Ailani was less tense around the stranger because she doesn't know who she is and she probably doesn't know Ailani's parents so she would have no reason to tell them that she was eating eels while training. She took a deep breath and pushed it out of her gills, causes a lot of bubbles to go towards the surface.

Akamu stared at her again and sighed a bit. "i'm here to deliver a package to Kalauokalani." She said, sticking her spear into the sand and shifting her bag from her side to the front of her body. She felt the girl's eyes watching her. Akamu sighed and looked up at her. She stood up straight and held out her hand to her, "My name is Akamu. What is yours?" She asked the overly relaxed girl before her.
Akamu held onto the strap of her bag that contained the meat.

Ailani kicked her feet a bit, swimming over to Akamu. She took her hand and shook it, "My name is Ailani." She said. "I'm Kalauokalani's daughter." She added after. She glanced down at the bag Akamu had around her torso. "What's the package?" She asked her. It could be a number of things, food, materials for repairing or making new hunting tools. She let go of her hand and looked at the bag closer, sniffing at it to see if she could make out what was in it. Whatever it was she's never smelled it before and it intrigued her greatly. She moved back when Akamu waves at her.

"Back up. I'm supposed to deliver this to your mother." She said and started to swim towards the front door. "You may be her daughter but I was told to give it to Kalauokalani in particular." She said and moved herself down, standing on the porch before lightly knocking on the front door. "I'm here to drop off a delivery." She said, a bit loud so that someone inside could hear her.
Soon after the front door opens, a large stocky man stood in the doorway. "I'm here to drop of a package for Kalauoklani." Akamu said and looked up at him, not as afraid of him as she should be. "I'm Ha'aheo, Kala is my wife. I can take the package for her." Ha'aheo said, looking down at her.
"But my dad said it can only be to her." Akamu said and blinked a bit.

Kalauoklani walks over to the door and stood next to her husband, "What is the package?" She asked. Ailani swam over, keeping her hands in her pockets to hide the fact that her pockets are full of eels. "It smells like meat from what I gathered." She said yawned.
Kala looked at her, "Are you yawning because you were lazing about or..?" She left the question open to see if she would answer herself. Ailani sighed a bit, rolling so her belly up, "I was swimming laps like you asked, not very fast thought." She said and yawned. Kalauoklani smiled slightly, "Good, that's a start."

Akamu glanced at Kala, then to Ha’aheo, then to Ailani. “Uhh.” She stood there, quite confused. Ha’aheo chuckled ever so slightly, lightly patting his daughter on the head before turning his attention back to the delivery girl on his porch. “Sorry about them. Our daughter is a very lazy person and this a hunter family.” He said and held out his hand for the package.
Akamu reached into her back and pulled out the first slab of meat from her bag, handing it to the large man. She took a step back. “Do you have any other deliveries to make?” Ha’aheo asked her. Akamu nods and closes her bag up, turn before she started down the steps. Ha’aheo looked at her, then at Ailani and then smiled a bit. “You should go with her Ailani. To take a break from the swimming.” He suggested.

Kala looked at her husband and then at Ailani, “I agree, you should go with her.” She said and smiled. Ailani whined a bit and took a deep breath, looking at her mother. Her mother looked at her and put her hand on her hip. “Fine, fine. I’ll go with.” She said and spun around, getting reoriented and moves so that her feet are on the ground. She sauntered after Akamu, stretching her back as her followed her.
“Have a fun trip.” Kala said, waving. Ailani waves back at her, “Have fun figuring out what to do with the meat.” She said and followed Akamu. She glanced at the bag, and back up at her. “Who else are you going to drop off the delivery for?” She asked, pulling out an eel from her pocket and puts it in her mouth, slurping it up in one go.

Akamu closed her eyes as she walked, her brows furrowed and her nose flared. ‘Great, Lazy and gross. This will be lovely.’ She took a deep breath, gripping the staff part of spear as she walked. “The other meat is for a Moakai named Ahohako.” She said, walking a bit faster to try and keep a bit of a space between her and Ailani, not wanting her lazy to affect her. She needs to keep up her energy to finish this delivery.

Ailani stuffed yet another eel into her mouth before she spoke up, “I know Ahohako. They’re my Aunt.” She swallowed and yawned, wondering if her cousin would be there. Well, one of her cousin’s is normally there at one point or another but she was wondering if she could go and bother Luka in particular. If he was she could give him some of her eels if he wanted any at the time being. She turned and rolled so that her belly was up, swimming backwards in a slow manner after her glowing accomplice.

Akamu took a deep breath as she waded through the murky water. “Well if you’re related to them and know them so well, how about after I deliver this last thing too them I just leave you there?” She asked in a bit of a sarcastic tone of voice, glancing back at the lazy girl behind her. She picked up her pace a bit, still wanting to keep a good distance between the two of them, not wanting to catch the other girl’s lazy. Akamu gripped the strap of the bag once again, taking a slow breath in and holding it in her lungs for a moment before breathing it out just as slowly.
