The silver male was nervous, he truly hadn't expected to get this far in the event. At this point he was just happy to have been able to participate for so long and it would be something he'd be able to tell his mate about once it was over with.

As he approached his next opponent he gave a smile and a small nod of his head as he waited to see which of them would be going first during this round. This was actually a really good way for him to meet other members of the pride, even if it entailed them hitting one another. It was true that he had wanted to get to see more of the pride and meet more members, so he was kind of getting that with this.

"A honest and fair fight indeed." Giving a bow of his head in return the inexperienced male hoped that it wasn't too obvious, despite the dumb luck he'd had earlier in the event. He was the initiator for this round and the closer he got towards the end of the tournament the more nervous he seemed to grow.

Dueling seemed, in his experience, to be one of the things a few amount of prides did to show feats of strength and agility. In his mind he felt as though it was going to show everyone how clumsy and uncoordinated he truly was. Moving forward he made an attempt to swipe at the other's shoulder but his calculations were off and he came up short, which left him open for a strike and he knew his mistake immediately.
