hi everyone, im a new member here and im sorry for starting off with asking for advice before you all get to know me, but in a round about way without going into a huge amount of detail, this is my problem sad
well, ive been with my girlfriend since 6/12/05, incase you dont feel like doing math that is roughly almost 10 months
anyways, its been a long distance relationship, until of course she goes to college and i come out there to see her cause her parents are strict. and we met over a game called socom2, sorry but by now im sure you're probably thinking (what a loser) haha, and im sorry if you are but..
this is where the problem comes in, its a male dominated game, we talk over mics and play with keyboards so everyone can pretty much communicate with eachother, when guys hear her talk, they instantly hit on her and ya know, im ok with that cause i know shes with me.
but we HAVE clashed before on the term. today this morning i downloaded MSN instant messanger and asked her for her handle, and before i continue with this i must say that when we got together she had a secret boyfriend for a little while. anyways, when i asked for her handle for MSN cuz i only had Yahoo and AIM and i needed someone on my MSN list cuz its empty, she got defensive and told me no, then it turned into a big fight cause she was acting shady and i mean i could get the exact file for ya, but long story short.. she was real shady/defensive and i believe she was hideing something from me, cause the other day she added a few new ppl to her MSN list no prob, when i ask its BAM, "ummm no".
after our fight it seems shes ready to end the relationship, when all ive shown out of my real life friends have sided with me because i believe they're probably biased, anyways...
what would you do in my situation? is it pretty much over?

Well, first off, I'd like to say Welcome! Thanks for accepting the invite!
Anywho, for advice. I don't think it is over. I think you just hit a bump. It happens, and if you play your card right, you'll solve it. Maybe you are looking at this the wrong way. Just because she doesn't want to give you her messanger, doesn't mean she has a secret relationship. It could, but don't jump to conclusions. Maybe she just likes having a place to talk to people who are her friends, besides you. That doesn't mean she wants to end the relationship! Maybe she just likes a little privacy.
After you let her cool down a bit, you should try to talk to her about it. Ask her why she has that, and if she gives you a reason, think about it. Is it a good reason? And, on the other hand, if she gets mad at you and fights again, maybe it really IS over. You can find someone who wont fight over a Messanger, I'm sure.
About the Guild..You should look and see who does what, just so you know who to ask! I do relationships..For now anyway. Haden and I never really settled that, but yeah. xD

thank you for the quick reply, i really appreciate the help.
we already talked earlier tonight and we hadnt broke up yet, the thing is anytime i question her about anything its "you're jealous, you dont trust me" etc etc.
id hate to think that id have to end the relationship over a messenger disbute, because i love her, we're almost at 10 months now on the 12th of this month comming up!
anyways, ill keep yall updated, i hope it works out cause i really care about her

You probably wont have to end it..Just try not to think about it too much I guess. Relationships do require trust, so I guess you'll just have to trust her.
