Katie continued to growl hearing Aseroth talking to her. She peeked out a bit from behind the trash cans she was digging through, continuing to growl at him. She saw he was crouched down, but because of how Wolfarian's were treated, she didn't trust him, or anyone for that matter. Unless they were Wolfarian, she didn't trust them.

Katie poked her head out to see who was in the alleyway. She then saw the orb in his hand and put her ears back with a small whimper escaping her knowing Aseroth would be too strong for her to take on alone. Katie was extremely shy, but she knew how to protect herself if needed. Though she preferred flight over fight as most of her kind did here on Earth since they didn't want any kind of trouble. She then winced a bit, as her leg started to hurt badly enough that she had tears in her eyes. It wasn't broken but it hurt to walk on it.

Katie's ears went back as he moved closer to her, but she didn't move. She was, however, shaking from fear so badly that you could see her doing it. Her tail was tucked between her legs, as she stood there. One could already tell that she was very shy, but could be sweet once you got to know her. Katie then took a chance, and limped towards Aseroth a bit, sniffing at him from about a foot away. Her leg dangled as if it was really hurting. She was, at this point, close enough for him to reach out and grab if he wanted to. Of course if he missed, she'd most likely dart behind the garbage cans again. It was supposed to get really cold tonight, and a possible chance of snow. The clouds in the sky showing that it was probably more than a possibility.

Katie shook in Aseroth's arms, as he held her before she looked at him with scared eyes. When he said he'd take her to a vet, she buried her face in the crook of his arm. Katie was usually treated by a Wolfarian doctor, since most doctors wouldn't treat Wolfarians. Same could be said for veterinarians that could tell the difference between real wolves and a Wolfarian. Katie would go with being the scared little puppy for now, but she hoped the vet wouldn't be able to tell what she really was.

Katie was tense as she was looked over by the vet. She could he knew what she was, but when he treated her wounded leg, albeit a little too roughly causing her to wince every now and again, she seemed to be more at ease. Once she was treated, she went over to Aseroth as soon as she was handed to him and huddled in his arms not knowing where else to go. She was alone, no parents or any other family on Earth, and the Wolfarians were scattered across the cosmos after their planet was attacked by planet jackers a few years ago. Katie's mother was pregnant when they escaped and gave birth at a Wolfarian Hospital which was not the best medical care in the world but enough to survive on. Katie had her face buried in Aseroth's arms as she was held, hoping he wouldn't put her on the streets. A small whimper escaped her as she hid within his strong looking arms, as if she didn't want to leave his side. She actually felt safe around Aseroth.
