All right then, I've decided to make a thread. Shocking, absolutely shocking. Nii? Anyways, Here you can post and read others poetry and see what they think of it.
Rules:
1. Constructive critisim only! 2. Try not to be Rude. 3. Follow the guild rules. 4. Please don't bump or page stretch. 5. Please no advertising or begging or anything. 6. Please, please, PLEASE attempt proper grammar. It will make both you and your poem look much better.
Okie here's a short poem I made up last night for my journal:
*Love & Glass Roses*
Love and glass roses, One in the same. Fragile yet strong, Harmless yet dangerous. It's all the same, Just a little game. With no care nor thought, It is tossed about. Left to shatter, Upon the darkness of the end.

=Little Black Book=
Little black book, What secrets hold you? Oh, how you tempt me, Nagging at my sanity! Why dost thou call me, With though song of silence?
Little black book, Held shut tight. Clasped shut by a delicate strap, Yet held closed by loyalty. So defenseless, yet so strong, Why dost thou torment me?
Little black book, I must know your secrets. Tell me the fair, And tell me the foul. Tell me the endless dreams, And tell me the nitemares. Tell me all your secrets.
Little black book, With just a mere movement, Your walls are all gone. Now I stand here, Viewing it all. The lies, hopes, and dreams, That the book holds. The inner darkness and betrayl, That I now see in me.
Little black book, Your power is boundless. Temptation and sensation, Decieving and believing. Oh little black book, What have I done? I am myself, a monster. To murder so soon, The trust that layed between us...

This is a little somethign I wrote one night. I turned on my computer and put on my head phones. I had been in a poetic mood and such so I was off in my own little world...and forgot to turn on my music...:
I sit here, waiting. Waiting and rotting. Waiting for the music to start, To blare through my head phones. Rotting as I wait for something to occur, Something that'll never occur. I sit here, waiting and rotting. Rotting and waiting.

At the age of ten I saw the truth The lies you told Your secret's out And everyone knows What you did Though you broke no laws And had no morals You tricked the minds Of fellow soldiers They gave their life Just for you And trusting you With all they had But you didn't care And just walked away Cuz your heart turned cold Like touching Coal.
Sets, how's that? xDD
