Astrid growled at the demon lord in front of her. Her fangs started to bare before she sensed his power. Maybe he could easily remove this curse from her? She cautiously came up to the bars of the cage before she looked at him, hoping he could get her out of there. She was pricey but because her kind were extremely rare and hard to capture it was only natural that she was expensive. Though not that many people could afford her, she hoped she wasn't making a mistake or reading this guy wrong. He seemed nice enough but she would still be on edge just in case.

Astrid looked up at him before she sniffed at him a bit. She then placed her nose in his hand as much as she could since the bars of the cage she was in were not well spaced out. The man approached and said, "See anything you want?" As he hoped to make a fortune on the very 'beast' that was in front of the men. Meanwhile, Astrid looked at the man that seemed to like her. She looked calm but was actually raring to get out of that cage when it opened.

The man selling Astrid thought about it. "How much you willin' to offer?" he said rubbing his chin. Astrid's tail starts wagging as the guy in front of her starts petting her head and scratching behind her ear. Her kind of demon wolf usually didn't connect with humans of any kind, but there was something about the man that Astrid really liked.

Seeing the amount that was offered, the seller's eyes lit up his pupils almost looking like the very gold pieces that were in front of him. He quickly calmed himself after realizing the amount was more than fair. "Sold!" He said in a hardy voice before getting a collar and leash for the beast in the cage. Astrid looked up at the two of them, listening carefully. After her cage was opened and the collar and leash put on her before being given to the man who bought her, she started pulling towards the mountains where her kind were often seen during this time of year. Though that dream was short lived as the collar gave her a small shock as she pulled, causing a small yelp to escape her as she continued to pull on the magical leash trying to get home.

"Far as I know, she ain't got one." He said before Astrid growled at him a bit. Meanwhile, Astrid felt his gentle hands stroking her on the back. She coughed a bit as the collar was choking her as she tried to pull so hard that the man who bought her would let go, but to no avail. Astrid stared out into the mountains hoping she would get to go home. She didn't want to be anywhere near humans of any kind, or for that matter, anything. Her kind were usually loners until breeding season, and until after the pups were old enough to fend for themselves. However, Astrid wasn't ready for pups. In fact whenever breeding season came, she hid herself from anyone's view. She then perked her large ears hearing the mountain winds blowing in the distance.

Astrid refused to move in the direction he was pulling her in. She kept on pulling herself towards the mountains, towards her old home. She whimpered a bit trying to get him to change his mind. Then again, if she could get away from him, and get the collar off, she could easily make it home by morning. She took one last look at the mountains as she finally walked in the direction he wanted her to. Once at the in, she felt on edge the entire time, baring her venom coated fangs at a few people. It almost looked like she was insane in the head as the venom looked more like drool as it fell out of her mouth. Though she stayed by her 'master' the entire time. The kids, and innkeeper woman, at the inn looked more scared of her than most of the men there. Once they were in the room, Astrid sat by the window looking out towards her mountain home. Well more like the old shrine she used to get from her world to this one. She wasn't sure how to get back, but she wasn't about to give up at this point. Just because she was cursed during the day, didn't mean she could sneak around at night and possibly get back home. That is, if this guy fell asleep long enough for her to get away.
