❖ D e m o n S y s t e m
How exactly the demons work.
  • Decisions on who gets a Bijuu are determined by the moderator team based on the positive guild impact and activity of the member.
  • A single guild member cannot have more than one jinchuuriki rpc.
  • When a demon host dies, the demon will die as well and form again later. This process also occurs if the demon is slain.
  • Extraction of a demon typically causes death.
  • Demons can communicate telepathically with each other, though this can be interrupted by seals. They can grant access to this ability to their Jinchuuriki if they have been tamed and bonded with fully.
  • Demons marked as "in the wild" can theoretically be encountered by anyone, though the determination of this is left primarily to the relevant Kage.
  • Having a demon will override the host's elements if they do not have corresponding elements to the demon. In the case of a ninja only having a single element, they will be granted the second as well. Note that disciplines stack with demon boosts as well.

❖ D e m o n R u l e s:
Rules for both demon and host.
  • Bijuu cannot be traded or given away without appropriate backlash for the character's involved, including resealing and the likely death of the original host.
  • Kekkei Genkai cannot be activated without stage mastery, and cannot be used within full emergence state.
  • Jinchuuriki must train with their Bijuu in order for it to give its main benefits. Benefits are only granted when the stages are activated: basic effects take effect regardless of mastery (IE if you use the demons power without mastery,) where as advanced effects are given when you master said level. Any DR and technique augmentations (such as overwhelming traits or power increases) stack with each other when further stages are activated. Other effects do not unless explicitly stated.
  • If you create a new RPC to host a Bijuu, the RPC does not know it is a host. This can only be done with the approval of the Demon Head (Kerron) and the relevant Kage.
  • If a sealing technique or host is not strong enough to contain the demon, the demon breaks free and the host is killed,
  • If a sealing technique is too strong, it will cut off all access to the demon's Chakra and prevent training in, and activation of, stages above the dormant stage.
  • The Demon Mods are able to roleplay as any demon, including things such as dialogue with the demon, if the host desires it.
  • Official judgments on the relationship between the host and beast come down to a judgment of their shared past and the demon's personal experiences. It's helpful to keep a log of interactions, but not necessary.
  • After mastering a stage as denoted below, Demon Jutsu of the appropriate level become available for learning, and take two posts each to learn. Though ninjutsu, they get no bonuses to learning. These techniques do not take up any slots but require the user be in an active demonic state to use untill Jinchuuriki level is mastered. If the Bijuu is in control, the techniques can be used forcibly.
  • Demons have training in any natural weapons they have, such as claws or tails. They can use these weapons as an X-Rank Simple or Complex technique. Hosts gain access to this during active usage of the demon's abilities should they have the appropriate physiology, capped at their Body Rank Restrictions.
  • You always have the initial basic effects active regardless of training.
  • Descriptive increases caused by activating a demonic stage are considered passives that go beyond the cap.
  • Whenever the demon gives, uses, or is somehow otherwise drained of chakra, the chakra regeneration passive stops for five posts.

❖ S t a g e L i m i t s:
The maximum duration you can stay in each demon form.
  • Dormant Stage: Maximum usage - None.
  • Chakra Cloak: Maximum usage – 10 posts. Anything after this will result in exhaustion, reducing all DR by a moderate amount.
  • Partial Stage: Maximum usage – 8 posts. Anything after this will result in a blackout.
  • Chakra Cloak Version Two: Maximum usage – 6 posts. Anything after this will result in death.
  • Miniature Demon Stage: Maximum usage – 4 posts. Anything after this will result in death.
  • Demon Form Stage: Maximum usage – 2 posts. Anything after this will result in death.
  • Stage Retraining: Once the final stage of training has been mastered, each stage may be retrained to increase its maximum duration by two posts. Stage retraining can only happen once.

❖ D e m o n T r a i n i n g:
How to Grow
    There are two forms of training which a Jinchuuriki must undergo in order to master their Bijuu. By the end, they will become true Jinchuuriki with an unshakable amount of control and ability over their Bijuu. These two forms are both required, and listed below:

      Step one: Chakra and Stamina Training:
      Chakra/Stamina training revolves around the usage of the tailed beast's chakra cloak. Mastering the utilization of the demon's chakra will make it that much easier for the host to turn virtually any battle scenario in their favor. However, doing so is but a single step in fully mastering a tailed beast.

      The ability to increase the power of one's chakra comes with immense training. Slowly mixing the Demons chakra with your own until you have mastered them fully. Granting you immense power in the face of opposition. After learning the Cloak of the Demon - Version One, you may begin demonic chakra training. To Master demonic chakra it takes ten posts of training total with the bijuu's chakra manifested, doing anything that leans on the usage of it's chakra including but not limited to chakra/stamina meditation, performing techniques, or anything else that requires exertion. This session is not consistent of flashbacks or confrontation with the demon. It is performing the mastery of chakra.
      There are two types of Chakra increases. Passive boosts that are obtained upon mastering one's demonic chakra that is immediately added onto your Base Chakra Reserves upon body rank increase, and Active boosts that are only applied while within that specific chakra cloak stage (or during certain other demon transformations). These boosts are given in lieu of the demon itself's base chakra and stamina amounts. All active boosts from bijuu chakra mastery are totaled up and added to a Demon Transformation while it is in use. Passive Chakra boosts are overridden while active chakra boosts are in effect, and when the demon transformation goes away any extra boosts are assumed to go away.

      ___Passive Chakra Boosts
    • +25 base chakra and stamina per body rank. Each increase stacks with additional body rank for a total of 150 passive chakra and stamina at S+ rank.

      Active Chakra Boosts
    • "? chakra/stamina" refers to the amount of active boost for each body rank as listed below. These boosts do not stack and instead override their previous totals. For example, when in a demon transformation at B-Rank, 400 chakra is gained but when in a transformation at S-Rank, 1,000 chakra is gained.

    Step Two: Demon Stage Training:
      Demon Stage Training refers to the mastery of your demon techniques and actual stages. This requires intense focus of oneself along with their demon to learn to utilize the demon's abilities. Not only does this grant the ability to learn powerful demon techniques, but it generally grants passive abilities depending on the level of mastery acquired.

      Note that every demon stage (Cloak of the demon V1, Partial transformation etc.) require their own 5 posts of training to master, where the demon continuously tries to wrestle control of the form from you. Also note that the Basic Effects of Cloak of the Demon version one are always on.

        Initial Training:
        This stage is based upon the realization that a demon exists.
        •Requires that Tailed Beast Telepathy and Cloak of the Demon - Version One be learned mastered.
        • Allows learning & use of B-rank and lower Demon Techniques and Jinchuuriki Techniques.
        • Unlocks Advanced Effects of Cloak of the Demon Version One

        Partial Mastery:
        This level of training is accessed after one has fully grasped the abilities of Initial Training stage of mastery. When learning all techniques of the given rank, the demon host is then able to further push the limits of their abilities.
        • Requires all Jinchuuriki Techniques of B-rank and lower and Cloak of the Demon Version one be mastered.
        • Allows learning & use of A-rank and lower Demon Techniques and Jinchuuriki Techniques
        • Allows the jinchuuriki to learn the Partial Transformation demon transformation. This stage can is used at the same time as Cloak of the Demon Version One.
        • Unlocks Advanced Effects of Partial Transformation when mastered.


        Half Mastery:
        This level of training is accessed when one has fully grasped the abilities of Partial Mastery. When learning all techniques of the necessary rank the demon host is able to access any aspect of a demon's arsenal of skills.
        • Requires all Jinchuuriki Techniques of A-rank and Cloak of the Partial Transformation be learned.
        • Allows learning & use of S-rank and lower Demon Techniques and Jinchuuriki Techniques
        • Allows the jinchuuriki to learn the Cloak of the Demon - Version Two demon transformation, which overrides both of the previous transformations asthetically while maintaining boosts from before.
        • Unlocks Advanced Effects of Cloak of the Demon Version Two


        Full:
        The level of Mastery granted when one has completed learning all techniques within 'Partial Mastery'. A stage granted to a demon host that nearly mastered every aspect of their demon.
        • Requires all Jinchuuriki Techniques to have been learned
        • Requires all demon chakra training to have been completed
        • Allows learning & use of all Demon Techniques and Jinchuuriki Techniques
        • Allows the jinchuuriki to learn to become the demon for brief periods of time.
        • Unlocks Advanced Effects Miniature Demon Stage


        Jinchuuriki:
        The final level of training necessary for a demon and host to truly become unified in mind and body, effectively becoming certain friends, allies and mutual protectors.
        • Requires the demon to be on a friendly level with the demon, following at least a ten post worth in bonding period of understanding being officially reached.
        • Unlocks safe demon transformation, and Advanced Effects of Demon Power Stage



❖ D e m o n J u t s u [Jincuuriki]:
Techniques that all jinchuuriki have access to the use of after learning.
All Demon Techniques overwhelm same rank attacks.

    Tailed Beast Telepathy
    Rank D
    Description: An innate skill possessed by all the tailed beasts, which allows them to communicate with one another mentally. Using this telepathy, the tailed beast can create a dimension within the subconscious of their jinchuriki referred to as the Mental World where they can communicate without outside influences. There are two levels of this subconscious, and only once a jinchuuriki is perfectly linked with their tailed beast will they be able to enter the deeper level of their subconscious. This secondary level is not penetrable by others that might attempt to invade the jinchuuriki's mind by any means whatsoever. All communications between the jinchuuriki and the tailed beast in either level of subconsciousness occurs in the same instant it takes to have a simple thought, and does not interfere with the jinchuuriki's conscious functions in any way at all.
    • This technique becomes passive once the jinchuuriki learns how to communicate with their tailed beast.
    • Must have a Jinchuuriki level of master over the Tailed Beast to gain access to the second level of subconsciousness.

    Chakra Transfer Technique
    Rank: C
    Description: This technique allows the demon to transfer chakra and stamina to the host. Can not give more than 100 chakra per post. Requires at least a chakra cloak and one tail from the initial stage be active. This is separate from the Kyuubi's chakra sharing ability.

    Tailed Beast Chakra Arms
    Rank: C
    Description: Creates arms out of demonic Chakra that can extend up to twenty meters. These arms can interact with objects as the Bijuu's normal appendages can and have all of the Jinchuuriki's normal strength. These arms can be controlled by the demon or the Jinchuuriki, depending on who paid the cost to create them, and if the two are on good terms. If used by a host, the arms become those of the host. Last for two posts, with an upkeep cost of 20 Chakra for every post thereafter. Can only be used with Cloak of Demon - Version One or Cloak of the Demon - Version Two active.

    Tailed Beast Shockwave
    Rank B-A
    Description: A jinchuuriki uses their massive chakra reserve to turn anything from a roar or a waving gesture into a powerful force of pressure and destruction. These powerful shockwaves can also be cast through simply roaring or a violent movement of one's appendages. At the most basic level of use (B-rank), the attack can only fly in a straight direction as a 40 foot diameter wave with a 50 foot range; although, at the advanced level of use (A-rank) the attack can be generated in all directions around the jinchuuriki at the cost of distance, leaving it with a maximum range of 20 feet. The power of the shockwave is entirely dependent on the form that the jinchuuriki is in while using this attack.

    Can only be used with Cloak of the Demon - Version One or Cloak of the Demon - Version Two active.
    Cloak of the Demon - Version One: Shockwaves will destroy/reflect all techniques of one rank lower or weaker. Techniques of equal power will be negated with the shockwave (other parts of area shockwave will still go outward normally unless hit by a counter area attack).
    Cloak of the Demon - Version Two: Shockwaves will destroy/reflect all techniques of equal rank lower or weaker. Techniques of one rank higher will be negated with the shockwave (other parts of area shockwave will still go outward normally unless hit by a counter area attack).

    Tailed Beast Genjutsu Release
    Rank: B
    Description: The jinchuuriki and the tailed beast sealed within them have, by this point, developed such a relationship that the demon can utilize its telepathic link with the host to be able to detect with the host is under the spell of genjutsu or any form of hypnosis. The demon can then exert chakra equal to the amount used in a technique to put the jinchuuriki under such a spell to break them free of it. If no technique has been used, then only the cost of this technique needs to be paid to free the host. All currently active mind-affecting effects will be negated at the same time; the cost for each must be paid for simultaneously. Useable only once per battle until complete mastery is achieved where it has a four post cooldown.

    Bijuu Dama [ Tailed Beast Ball ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The Tailed Beast Ball is the ultimate attack of a jinchuuriki. To form the attack they gather both positive chakra and negative chakra, shape it into a sphere, and then compress it inside their mouth. The ball can be fired as a concentrated beam of energy which gives it unrivaled penetrative power. The compressed energy sphere has a 5 foot diameter when and can hit anything in the same area or another relatively near location entirely. The Tailed Beast Ball will explode upon contact, decimating everything within the first 10 feet beyond its original diameter, but the concussive force of the released energy will reach another 35 feet and will violently throw anyone caught in that area outside of its range. The aftermath of the Tailed Beast Ball's detonation will leave everything that has been struck in a crater that is 50 feet at its deepest.
    Can only be used with Cloak of the Demon - Version Two active.

    Renzoku Bijuu Dama [ Continuous Tailed Beast Balls ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The tailed beast or transformed jinchūriki fires multiple uncompressed Tailed Beast Balls in rapid succession at the opponent. Each one fired is about 1 foot in diameter, and up to fifteen can be rapidly fired in a matter of seconds. Each uncompressed tailed beast ball can leave an impacting crater that is about five times its diameter upon anything they hit as they explode like popping bubbles, but on a far more violent scale. Should they directly impact a living thing... the damage would easily result in disintegrated bones, torn muscles, and internal organ damage if the hit were landed on the body. In most cases death would be inevitable for a direct hit to the enemy's head or in the upper torso region of the body. If the cost of this technique is repaid, the user can continue to fire another volley of the incomplete tailed beast balls.
    Can only be used with Cloak of the Demon - Version Two active.

    Tailed Beast Cloak
    Rank: -
    Description: The Jinchuuriki draws Chakra from the Bijuu to form a cloak around themselves, gaining access to the demonic Chakra of a stage of activation for a short time without undergoing the physical changes that are normally associated. Must have Jinchuuriki level mastered to perform this.

    Tailed Beast Switch
    Rank: -
    Description: If a seal has been loosened or is otherwise too weak to contain a demon, or if the host's willpower wanes, the Bijuu can forcibly assume control of the body if it does not want to escape. Similarly, the host can voluntarily allow the Bijuu control over the body, though living through this is a problem if the two are not on good terms. Does not have to be learned and does not consume Chakra or Stamina.

Techniques that all demons have access to automatically.

    Renzoku Bijuu Dama [ Continuous Tailed Beast Balls ]

The power of a shockwave is capable of leveling and greatly altering landscapes that are caught in its wake. Shockwaves will also destroy/reflect all techniques of one rank lower or weaker. Techniques of equal power will be negated with the shockwave (other parts of area shockwave will still go outward normally unless hit by a counter area attack).

    Bijuu Dama [ Tailed Beast Ball ]
    Rank: S-S+
    Description: The Tailed Beast Ball is the ultimate attack of a tailed beast. To form the attack they gather both positive chakra and negative chakra, shape it into a sphere, and then compress it near but outside of their mouth. The compressed energy sphere can be grown to as small as a 20 foot diameter and can hit anything in the same area or another relatively near location entirely. The sphere's concentrated form grinds and demolishes virtually anything it comes into contact with. The Tailed Beast Ball will explode upon contact, decimating almost everything within the first 30 feet beyond its original diameter, but the concussive force of the released energy will reach another 50 feet and will violently throw anyone caught in that area outside of its range. The aftermath of the Tailed Beast Ball's detonation will leave everything that has been struck in a crater that is 100 feet at its deepest. For every 10 chakra spent created the Tailed Beast Ball can proportionately increase its dimensions: +10ft sphere diameter, +5ft decimation damage range, +10ft concussive force range, +10ft crater size. (This does not effect technique damage beyond S+) Utilizing some kind of sensory technique is most beneficial if targeting enemies beyond the user's immediate area.
    • Can target any topic in the same sub-forum
    • Cannot apply more than 100 (1000 for the Kyuubi) Chakra. This is on top of the base S+ cost.
    • Must charge for 1 post before firing if applying more than A rank chakra.

    Bijuu Sumi [ Tailed Beast Wave ]
    Rank: S+
    Description: The Tailed Beast Ball is the ultimate attack of a tailed beast. To form the attack they gather both positive chakra and negative chakra, shape it into a sphere, and then compress it inside their mouth. The ball is then fired as a concentrated beam of energy from its mouth which gives it nearly unrivaled penetrative power. The energy wave is 65 feet wide and can hit anything in the same area or another relatively near location entirely. The beam won't explode or do anything more than steadily barrage the target that it is shot at for a few seconds after it is fired; however, the resulting damage guarantees that virtually any obstacle in the Tailed Beast Ball Wave's path will be obliterated. Utilizing some kind of sensory technique is most beneficial if targeting enemies beyond the user's immediate area. Useable once per transformation.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through Gaara. The demon's look is that of a one tailed tanuki- which resembles a typical raccoon. It boasts a dark beige skin tone, dark blue markings, a long tail, and a well sized stomach. This demon controls the sands of the deserts and the wind of the world, usually combining both to make protection techniques it calls “the ultimate defense.” Hosts were known to be kept awake for days on end by the unending taunting of the demon attempting to cause the host to kill himself, and as such tend to look tired or sluggish until the two are on good terms. The host's attitude also changes; a profound increase in more cynical laughter and a tendency for solitude are common, reflecting the Bijuu’s cunning and sociopathic attitude. Hosts typically carry an object, usually a bottle or gourd, which is capable of containing the Ichibi's sand.
___Shukaku is a master of all offensive fuuton jutsu, as well as any sand technique as well.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
The first usage of the Ichibi's Chakra. The host gains certain characteristics, such as dark outlines around both eyes, slight growth of the teeth, and a subtle lengthening of the ears. Because Shukaku's Chakra is now more freely flowing throughout the host, it will generate sand patches on the user's body to lighten impact and slash damage that float throughout the demon's chakra cloak, which takes form as a light brown form that has flecks of sand floating throughout. The single tail also is formed from this cloak, with a heavier mass of sand within it.
_Basic Effects:
  • Shukaku will protect the host with Shield of Sand no matter the host's desire. Sand will collect around and follow the host, able to be kept in a gourd or not. Shukaku's jinchuuriki is often considered to have the perfect defense. Refer to the Shield of Sand technique.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Can make formless sand attacks using the demon's chakra at your direction within 15 meters, once per post.
  • Able to use one activation per post to convert non-ninjutsu based stone into sand. Limited to human sized boulders.
  • Host can collect small sand patches on their body to absorb up to D-Rank physical damage. Costs 5 Chakra per patch.

___Partial Transformation
The host will continue to draw out the Ichibi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The sand that previously appeared in patches throughout the cloak now wraps around the torso to form a medium-weight protective armor, and also coils near the rear to form a small imitation of the demon's tail that is ten feet long. Additionally, the sand that was once utterly blank now bares the dark markings seen on Shukaku's skin.
_Basic Effects:
  • Sand lines host's torso to form medium armor without a detriment to the host.
  • Moderately increases fortitude when activated.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Capable of making a supplemental action to convert more sand from nearby stones and rocks. Allows your ability to manipulate sand to increase its range from 15 to 30 meters around the host. Techniques can originate from any mass of sand the host is within range of, as well as sand based formless attacks that can be anything from hands attempting to strike to waves of sand being moved as a wave are capable. Maximum size these can be are the size of a house regardless of rank put in.
  • Sand attacks are considered to be one rank faster, requiring greater expenditures of chakra to escape them using the dodge system.
  • Fortitude is increased greatly.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
The dark blue marked sand that previously encased the torso spreads to the host's dominant arm, part of the face, and also increases size of the false tail to 30 feet. With these new alterations, along with the continual increase in Chakra, the host begins to greatly resemble the Shukaku. These new sand limbs can be stretched and manipulated as if they were normal sand as can the tail.
_Basic Effects:
  • Sand limbs can be increased via formless sand manipulation. Five feet of range can be added per rank put in, and these augments do not take an activation to create or dispel. Last up to 3 posts.
  • Sand lines host's torso to form heavy armor free of restriction.
  • Sand techniques used from within a meter of the host become a rank stronger.
  • Sand manipulation range now increases to 45 meters.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme Fortitude boost.
  • Sand being manipulated is no longer capable of being turned into anything else by the effects of other elements or ninjutsu.
  • Moderate Strength Boost.

___Miniature Demon Stage
The host will allow Shukaku's sand to absorb almost all of their body, leaving only the legs revealed for movement purposes. Facial features become utterly inhuman, both arms take on the demon's shape, and the tail finishes forming. In this stage the host's physical capabilities are increased, and thanks to the Chakra support, there are almost no repercussions. Additionally, like the previous few stages, the limbs and tail of the mini-Shukaku can stretch and otherwise be manipulated like sand. The weak point of this stage, however, is the host's revealed legs.
_Basic Effects:
  • Sand manipulation range increased to 60 meters.
  • Physical strength and fortitude both supremely increased.
  • Heavy Armor is maintained.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Sand techniques become denser, packed more heavily with chakra to make it overwhelm same ranked techniques.
  • Sand techniques used within a meter of the host become a rank stronger.
  • Gains the ability to cast one sand technique per post without an activation, so long as Shukkaku uses it's chakra to fuel it.

___Demon Power Stage
Basic: The host utterly surrenders to the whims of the Ichibi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Shukaku will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and thus itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon; if they decide not to, the Ichibi will retain in its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Ichibi, has dealt with incredible amounts demon Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Shukaku's power without giving up their own body. Sand wraps around the host; however, rather than melding into Shukaku's form, it will mold to the host's figure. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Shukaku's Chakra. Sand perfectly lines the host's entire body, forming a skin that allows adaptable offense and defense. Chakra flickers about the host like circular specks of sand in the wind, visible even to unaltered senses.
_Basic Effects:
  • Shukaku takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Shukaku, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Fortitude and strength both supremely+moderately increased.
  • Sand techniques used within 2 meters of the host become a rank stronger and still overwhelm techniques of the same rank.
  • At the host's discretion, all defensive techniques, including sand techniques, are increased in strength by a rank. Stacks with other boosts to sand jutsu as well. After a defensive technique is bolstered by this passive, all bonuses to techniques from the demon itself are cancelled for two posts.

    Description: The host forms a small sphere made of sand and compresses it into their hand to increase its hardness. The sphere can strike opponents with such speed and force that it knocks them unconscious. Only inflicts nonlethal damage.

    Daisan no Me [ Third Eye ]
    Rank: D
    Description: Using Chakra, the host connects a sand-made eye to his optic nerve, which enables him to know what happens in the sand eye's field of vision. This is genuinely a third eye for its user. Has an upkeep cost of five Chakra for every two posts of activation after the first one.

    Suna no Tate [ Shield of Sand ]
    Rank: X [ Learned as C ]
    Description: A veil of sand that intercepts attacks on the user’s behalf. The shield is capable of withstanding considerably strong attacks and projectiles and can be hardened to a point where it is stronger than steel. It can be avoided entirely with extremely high-speed attacks (higher speed DR than the jinchuuriki) or bypassed with incredible brute force (attacks stronger than this jutsu). Blocks up to same rank techniques completely and the chakra cost is always deducted from only Shukaku's resources. This technique does not use any of the jinchuuriki's activations and instead counts as a free defensive activation. The Shield of Sand is considered the perfect defense and counts as a spiritual defense.

    Suna Bunshin no Jutsu [ Sand Clone Technique ]

    Description: The Sand Clone is different from the other types of clone techniques in that the sand does not completely assume the form of the user, but remains as sand the entire time. That is to say, the clone's form can be changed instantly into sand, and the enemy's body can be trapped. Its many applications with long-range attacks can have it act as a lure and a decoy. The Sand Clone can be used as a medium for other sand-based techniques.

    Suna no Yoroi [ Armor of Sand ]

    Description: The host covers himself in a compacted layer of sand, providing an additional defense should other protective measures fail. The additional weight of the sand means a mild decrease to speed for a moderate boost to fortitude. Lasts for two posts, with an upkeep cost of 10 Chakra for every post following. Is destroyed if a C rank ninjutsu comes in contact with it.

    Sabaku Fuyuu [ Desert Suspension ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user will place Chakra-infused sand beneath their feet, molding it into a platform. Manipulating this sand, the user can then hover up to 3 meters off the ground. Lasts for three posts, but can be sustained with 10 Chakra upkeep for each post beyond that.

    Suna no Tama [ Sphere of Sand ]
    Rank: C
    Description: Used while Shield of Sand is active. The host surrounds himself with his Shield of Sand to guard against attacks. In addition to being extremely dense, this sand-sphere can form spikes from its surface to spear any would-be attacker. This technique can also be used in mid-air. B-Rank techniques can break through with some difficulty. Anything lower will fail to break through. Shield can be reformed if not fully destroyed using surrounding sand.

    Suna Shigure [ Sand Drizzle ]

    Description: After condensing sand into countless small lumps, the host launches them at an enemy from every direction. Because all the sand lumps are controlled by Chakra, it is possible to commence an attack with almost zero blind spots. The rain covers an area up to five meters in radius and can cause moderate injury to all in its radius. Sand can be made to cling to targets for an additional 20 Chakra at activation. Lasts for three posts, after which an upkeep cost of 10 Chakra per post is necessary.

    Sabaku Kyuu [ Sand Binding Coffin ]

    Description: With his ability to control sand, the host encases his opponent in a large amount of the Shukaku's special sand, immobilizing and potentially suffocating them.

    Sabaku Sousou [ Sand Waterfall Funeral ]
    Rank: B
    Description: After wrapping an opponent with sand with either Sand Binding Coffin or Sand Drizzle, the host will cause the sand to implode and crush whatever is within it. The pressure produces a sizable fountain of blood.

    Suna Shuriken [ Sand Shuriken ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user creates compact shurikens of sand. The host will then swing their arms, using the force to propel the projectiles with incredible speed. Because of their super compact properties, the sand shuriken are much more deadly than actual metal shuriken and have enough force behind them to break bones.

    Shukaku no Tate [ Shield of Shukaku ]
    Rank: X (Trained as B)
    Description: The Shield of Shukaku is said to be the Supreme Absolute Defense of Shukaku’s host. To stop an incoming attack, they will create a small Shukaku demon out of sand. This mini-Shukaku is a very strong defensive barrier that can block techniques up to one rank above its own. Requires an upkeep of half the initial activation cost for every post beyond the first post of activation, to a minimum of 5 Chakra. This drains from Shukaku's reserves only but takes a defensive activation from the host.

    Shukaku no Hoko [ Halberd of Shukaku ]

    Description: The Halberd of Shukaku is said to be the Supreme Absolute Offense of Shukaku’s host. The host uses high-density sand to form a long halberd which can then be thrown. The strength of the material allows it to penetrate strong defenses up to its rank.

    Gokusa Maisou [ Prison Sand Burial ]

    Description: The host loosens the ground below any targets and causes them to sink two hundred meters into the earth. By being imprisoned at this depth, the pressure will completely nullify their ability to move. The pressure resulting from being buried at such an extreme depth would surely kill any normal human, if not from suffocation, then from the fact that all their bones would break. Unfortunately, this technique takes 1 post to take effect after activation.

    Sabaku Rou [ Sand Binding Prison ]

    Description: A capturing ninjutsu that is a major characteristic to Shukaku's host. Using ordinary sand, a perfectly airtight space is created, in which the enemy is captured. An enormous quantity of sand completely envelops the target from every direction in order to capture them. The durability and size of the prison depend on the amount of Chakra poured into it. One can fine-tune the sand's properties to the target's size and properties, with a person-sized target costing C-Rank to contain. No matter if the target is on the ground or flying in the air, it is almost impossible to escape from this technique. Acts as if one rank higher in speed.

    Sabaku Sōtaisō [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral ]

    Description: The user covers the enemy with several successive layers of sand before compressing it into the form of a huge pyramid which acts to imprison the target upon its completion. Using Shukaku's chakra along with this technique increases the strength of the binding and sealing power by one rank. Requires the activation of an S-Rank technique to disrupt the sand from within. Lasts for five posts, but becomes permanent with the addition of Sabaku Sōtaisō Fūin [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal ].

    Suna Raishin [ Sand Lightning Needles ]

    Description: The user will hurl sand into the air which will come down around his target as hard pikes. Electricity will be generated from the pikes to arc towards and attack his opponent. This technique will neutralize electricity-based techniques up to A-Rank. Lasts for five posts.

    Description: The user forms a large protective wall in the air to block incoming attacks, such as explosions. Can block Village-sized assaults up to S-Rank in power. Lasts for five posts, with an upkeep cost of 80 Chakra for every post afterward.
    Sabaku Taisou [ Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral ]

    Description: Following the Quicksand Waterfall Flow technique, the host slams both hands palm down into the sand, creating powerful shock waves that compress the sand. Anything buried in the sand is subsequently crushed. The compressions also create massive earthquakes. Can be used in any landscape covered in sand. Affects an area up to twenty meters across.

    Sabaku Sōtaisō Fūin [ Desert Layered Imperial Funeral Seal ]

    Description: Using its own body markings as a medium, Shukaku first covers its opponent in layers of sand, which forms into a step pyramid. The intricate markings on the tanuki's body then serve as an interlocking cursed seal, which when completed, traps the captive. This seal completely restricts movement and the usage of Chakra within its boundaries and will remove any boosts to sand techniques the demon had for threeposts after. Takes one posts to set up and activate.

    Ryousa Bakuryou [ Quicksand Waterfall Flow ]

    Description: This jutsu sends a massive amount of sand towards an opponent in the form of a wave, drowning them in an ocean of sand. In addition to the wave effect of the Jutsu, the host can control the sand, allowing them to attack his opponent while they attempt to outrun the wave. It was once shown that the technique can be so powerful as to change the landscape, turning acres of forest into nothing but a desert with occasional broken trees. Coats an area up to twenty meters across in sand up to four meters deep.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___ The demon's look is that of a fork-tailed house cat. It is constantly shrouded in a dark blue spectral flame that has black markings constantly swirling throughout. It also has two long tails, large, sharp fangs, and claws. Hosts take on some of the physical qualities of the demon itself: many become more slender and agile, and almost all keep their hair long. They also tend to have one eye that is yellow, and one that is green at all times. Should the Nibi influence its host’s personality, the host will tend to be much more aggressive than normal, though they are also typically lazier before they are drawn to action.
___Matatabi herself has working knowledge of all Katon techniques.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Chakra Cloak Version One
The first usage of the Nibi's Chakra. In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, the host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: strengthening of nails, slight sharpening of the teeth. The host will continue to draw out the Nibi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The chakra of the demon is deep blue and shapes into a cloak that appears to dance like fire This same chakra coils near the rear to form a small imitation of the demon's tails. Additionally, any flames used darken and take on a hue similar to the Nibi’s true form. In this form, the host gains strong boosts to their physical capabilities.
_Basic Effects:
  • Slightly increased speed and reflexes
  • The demon can expend chakra/stamina equal to half of the cost of a taijutsu attack to empower it with blue fire, making it overwhelm same rank attacks. This also boosts it from a simple to a complex, or complex to spiritual attack. This overwhelming trait does not stack.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Claw based formless attacks used while the cloak is active overwhelm same ranked simple and complex attacks.
  • The Nibi will slightly increase the host’s speed and reflexes again.
  • Can expend an activation to power up the Nibi's cloak with flames, setting anything you touch ablaze but having no versus interactions whatsoever. These flames and other demon flames cannot, however, be extinguished by simply throwing water on it: at least a D rank of chakra is required to clear them out. This also allows the taijutsu attacks used by the host to benefit from the empowerment in the Basic Effects. Lasts for two posts, then has a one post cooldown.

___Partial Transformation
The demon itself has more influence over the way the host looks now, with it's body slimming down and becoming somewhat feline in how they carry themselves. Black lines trace through their skin as well as the demon further manifests. The claws sharpen further, as do the teeth of the host and the muscles on their limbs become further refined. Their eyes become feral as well. In this state they are even more like Matatabi. The cloak, too, is stained a deeper blue than before.
_Basic Effects:
  • Mildly increases Speed and Reflexes.
  • Fire techniques used by the host now also overwhelm same rank techniques.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Mild increases to Speed and Reflexes.
  • As long as the host is within 10 feet of flames they enjoy a slight increase to speed and strength. The flaming cloak augment from before counts for this boost.
  • Taijutsu attacks that are empowered by fire are a rank stronger as per the augment above. This is in addition to the overwhelming trait.

___Chakra Cloak Version Two
The spectral blue fire that previously came out to boost the power of the limbs now completely enshrouds them though not to the point where any damage is dealt. If it wasn't before, the second tail also manifests itself here. All over the host is almost incomprehensibly different in shape with generally only their hair being similar, even though it too is dark blue. The black lines from before still remain on the body as the flaming chakra rages. The eyes become green circles with black slits through the middle, and an open mouth holds the same green glow.
_Basic Effects:
  • Coming in physical contact with the host deals C rank damage, which includes a boost to damage from physical attacks the host makes.
  • Moderate increase to Speed and Reflex
  • Katon and Nibi techniques will have any ambient fire they create increase to cover five feet more range than before to spread the damage zone and how much fire is spread.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Heat radiates off of the demon such that being within five feet of it for more than a post causes opponents to take burn damage on their exposed skin. This is doubled when the host modifies it's cloak to be on fire as noted above. This damage stacks for every post spent within after, and after two posts will start to heat up clothing and gear as well. By three posts, the heat is great enough that cloth burns and anything else like medium and higher armor pieces will become hot enough to burn the wearer.
  • While within the range of the flame's speed boost, Katon and Nibi techniques cost 5 less chakra at D-C rank, 10 at B-A, and 20 at S and S+. The same reduction is offered to taijutsu attacks. Reduction is halved for the B-S+ variants on complex techs but apply to both.
  • Gain's an extra activation.
  • Moderate increase to Speed and Reflexes.

___Miniature Demon
The host finally becomes a true picture of the Nibi. Facial shape becomes entirely feline, as well as cat ears made of the demon's body forming. The tails blaze wildly with fire, igniting anything they touch as does the rest of the host's body. In addition, a spinal column extrudes from the back, with the cat's skull also appearing like a helmet over the head of the host. The host's posture changes to be quadrapedal as well. Limbs have bone surrounding them as well, adding a secondary method of mobility as well. Over the fingers bone comes out as well, reaching out over the extended claws.
_Basic Effects:
  • Fire and Nibi attacks do not require handseals.
  • Area of heat damage doubles in range, and now first degree burns are assured. Takes one less post to ignite clothing and render gear too hot to touch.
  • Within the heat dome, opponents will have to pay 10 more stamina on any stamina expenditures.
  • Once every two posts, the host at this stage can use a completely movement based action without having it take up an activation.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Wildlife, foliage and unprotected buildings and structures ignite when within five feet of the host's cloak.
  • Katon techniques are one rank stronger so long as the nibi pays an additional half of the cost when they are used.
  • Fire Cloak inflicts B rank C rank damage to those who come into contact with it.
  • Katon techniques lose a rank in power against the host.

___Demon Power Stage
Basic: The host gives full control of their body to the Nibi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Matatabi will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Nibi will retain in its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Nibi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Matatabi's power without giving up their own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, fire is wrapped around the host; however, rather than melding into Matatabi's form, the fire will mold to the host's figure. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Matatabi's Chakra. Fire perfectly lines the host's entire body, forming a skin and allowing adaptable offense and defense. Chakra rises from the host’s body like wisps of flame.
_Basic Effects:
  • Matatabi takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Matatabi, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered. Matatabi itself is not as powerful as it was when it was wild, but has a triple supreme to all stats save for fortitude and strength which are only double.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Spectral flames becomes denser, forming a thin armor around the host. Functions as light armor and causes B-Rank damage to those who come into contact with it.
  • All Katon techniques have two additional projectiles fired alongside them that are half the strength of the original, paid for by the Nibi. Outside of the advanced materialization, this can be used once every three posts.
  • The first Katon technique used in a post comes activation free.

    Tamashii no Jutsu [ Spirit Orb Technique ]
    Rank: D
    Description: The user creates a small floating ball of spectral fire that follows him or her until directed elsewhere. It can be used to deflect incoming projectiles and weak attacks, including weak Ninjutsu, and is often used to light paths or tempt enemies in to traps. The fireballs may be weak, but they last for five posts.

    Kiba to Tsume no Jutsu [ Claw and Fang Technique ]
    Rank: X Complex (Trained as D)
    Description: This technique allows the user to fling claws or fangs made of demon fire outward towards towards a target with a simple swipe. These flaming attacks burn through lower ranked defenses and continue unabated, and leave trails of fire along anything they travel through.

    Hoshokusha no Jutsu [ Predator Technique ]
    Rank: C
    Description: Increases the user’s feelings of aggression while coating their feet in spectral flames. The flames will spread across anything quickly on contact and burn for three of the affected character’s posts. Provides a moderate speed boost for three posts as well.

    Houka no Waza [ Art of Setting Fires ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user flicks a small ball of spectral fire at the target. When the ball hits something, it spreads about 10 feet around the struck entity and burns hotly for one post. Extremely effective against Chakra forms when used as it will continue to burn any additional Jutsu present in the area affected after the usage post is gone. Acts as a c rank zone of fire damage that also effects techniques passing through it. Host is immune to it's effects.

    Fuanshin no Jutsu [ Uncertainty Technique ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user swipes their tail at a target quickly, intending to strike or envelop the target. The tail leaves a streak of spectral fire in the air for two posts afterward along its path, providing a constant danger to the other Shinobi in the area as well. Flames remain for five posts, and this skill can be used to create up to two flames for one cost per tail manifested. Swipes can be up to ten feet long.

    Mouse Hairball
    Rank: B
    Description: The user spits out a blue flaming ball of hair that assumes the shape of a mouse engulfed in flames, which then continually splits in to individual and similarly ablaze hairs. The starting fireball is 3 feet in diameter and splits into as many as twenty 1 foot diameter fire missiles after moving forward for about 10 feet. These flaming projectiles swarm and pursue the intended target(s) before exploding once they come into contact with an object. Each explodes with enough concussive force to shatter wood and knock an opponent, if hit, 2 feet away from the point of contact in the opposite direction they were hit from. The fires also inflict painful second degree burns in the area they strike. The fire cannot be directly controlled by the user after the starting fireball detonates.

    Higuchi no Jutsu [ Flaming Maw Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user creates a spectral flame in their hand and throws it at a target. After hitting, the flame climbs up a target without moving outward. The fire will continue to grow in height even after it has reached the top of the target. The fire can serve as a beacon for allies or other attacks and will act like normal fire after five posts.

    Nijuushin no Jutsu [ Doppelganger Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user flicks their tails at a target. If the target catches fire, even for a brief moment, the fire grows in to a clone of that person and continues to fight under the user’s control. The Doppelganger can be dispersed by a lethal strike and functions as a clone created by the user with the user’s Chakra signature, though it uses the target’s abilities.

    Toraneko no Jutsu [ Ocelot Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user distributes Chakra through their limbs and uses it to supremely boost all physical stats for a short time, but only for the purposes of mobility. While under the influence of this technique, incredible feats of athleticism become possible, such as jumping hundreds of feet in the air or making hairpin turns at incredibly high speeds. Also confers a moderate boost to speed and reflex. Lasts for four posts.

    Goryou no Jutsu [ Vengeful Departed Spirits Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Creates twenty to thirty floating orbs that hover at random heights about in an area. When a Chakra-containing body other than the user comes within a few meters of an orb, it explodes, coating an area up to a meter around it in flames that spread out to envelop anything they contact over 20 feet.

    Description: The user builds up Chakra in the palms of their hands, and then slams them into the ground. The ground cracks and belches out flames that shoot upward and heat the area quickly. The flames burn for five posts before fading.

    Boshi-Neko no Jutsu [ Cat Spinning ]
    Rank: A
    Description: After bursting forward at full speed, the host becomes a ball of flaming demon chakra. Comparable to both the Human Boulder and Garouga skills, they become a mass of dangerous rolling flames that barrels towards a target, threatening to pulverize and vaporize them with flames all at once. This skill adds a moderate to speed for two posts while the roll continues and leaves behind flames all over the place wherever it has gone. It is double the size of the host when they use it.

    Bakeneko no Jutsu [ Demon Cat Technique ]
    Rank: S
    Description: This skill begins by gathering a large amount of demon flame in its mouth, then fires it in a massive ball. The blast blows away most defenses and coats everything in its path in spectral flames. The explosion, too, coats an area of up to 200 feet in demonic flames as well. Skill has a 3 post cd.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___The demon's body is that of an enormous, three-tailed turtle. It is covered in a thick shell that is grey on every part of its body except for the underbelly, where it is red; the grey shell is incredibly hard and resistant to Chakra of all natures and forms, as is the red shell to a lesser extent. It also has three tails that are each longer than the main body and are pointed on their ends. It's face resembles a large, open jaw with only a single yellow eye visible with the other permanently closed. All along it's armored body are jagged edges that look as dangerous as they are. This demon controls the waters of the world on a macro scale with very low precision otherwise, and can influence the minds of those around it via genjutsu. Hosts tend to have course skin which usually is more dry than usual. They will tend to be incredibly shy, and make small attempts to avoid conflict where possible.
___Isobu has a working knowledge of all Suiton techniques as well as illusion and enchantment Genjutsu.

___Chakra Cloak Version One

  • The Sanbi can take one of the user's activations to cast any illusion or enchantment genjutsu that the host knows using demon chakra. Doing so adds on another primary sense at the host's discretion, and increases the targets that it can affect by one where applicable. The cost is increased by half of the original technique cost on the demon's reserve.
  • Mild fortitude boost.
  • Suiton jutsu used by the host overwhelm ninjutsu of the same rank. They also lose their elemental weaknesses.

The host will continue to draw out the Sanbi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. Pieces of the Sanbi's shell now break through the user's skin on their back, arms and legs in small zones. They gain yellow coloring in one eye, while the other turns entirely white. In addition, muscles pump out a bit more and the skin turns entirely gray. The second tail usually manifests at this point.
_Basic Effects:
  • The host can choose to tap into Isobu’s Chakra on a very selective basis. By extending the charge time on a technique by one post, the host is able to use the demon’s Chakra to double the range, duration, and power of the technique. This drains from Isobu an amount of Chakra equal to the boost in power the technique takes on.
  • Chakra cloak now increases ninjutsu defense such that D rank ninjutsu does not harm the host, and C-B ranks deal half the damage. Once hit by two ninjutsu, this passive goes on cooldown for five posts.
  • Increases the amount of water drawn in per post to about what is expected from an A rank technique such as Raging River Force. Water now fills an area within 25 feet of the host. Water can be manipulated within this area as well for free, creating currents or small waves to disrupt footing. The ability to manipulate this water for attacks, however, is limited to actions that move all of it at once. At this stage, formless suiton ninjutsu can be done, and manifests itself as large waves that originate from host. This can be overcharged using demon chakra via the above passive as well.
  • Moderate fortitude boost.
  • When underwater, the host is moderately faster.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Genjutsu produced by the host now add an additional sense at the host's discretion to the primary senses. Demon must pay 1.5x the cost of the genjutsu to have this effect.
  • Suiton ninjutsu used by the host cost 5 less for D-C ranks, B-A ranks cost ten less, and S and S+ cost twenty less chakra to perform.
  • Speed while in or on water supremely increased.
  • Increases the water shield ability to block up to A rank ninjutsu before breaking for a post.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
The chakra covers the hosts entire body now, forming an entire shroud of chakra like a second skin. Pieces of the shell come through much more now than before, forming an entire shell on their back and on the backs of their limbs complete with the gray coloring and spines. The host now only has one visible eye, with the other being a bright yellow circle. The same yellow abyss can be seen within it's mouth.
_Basic Effects:
  • Moderate boost to fortitude, as well as B rank ninjutsu failing to harm the host, with A and S doing half damage. Cooldown remains the same.
  • Range of water manipulation increases to 50 feet.
  • Once every five posts the host or the demon can spend an A ranked amount of chakra to call a flood of water into a thread that can wash away unprepared opponents. This attack doesn't consume an activation. In addition, posts spent without making an offensive action reduce the cooldown period of this skill by one post.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Suiton jutsu are now considered one rank stronger while retaining the overwhelming trait if the demon pays to make it overwhelm same rank attacks. Suiton techniques do not require handseals.
  • Gains an extra activation.
  • Mist can be expelled from the host's body across an entire thread. This mist is almost identical to the hidden mist jutsu except that it is a genjutsu that falls over the thread, hiding the host. A C ranked Kai can dispel the mist for 5 posts before it comes back in, otherwise while within the host is completely invisible until it makes an offensive action. Genjutsu are not considered offensive for the purpose of this defense.
  • While the mist persists, genjutsu cast have an additional secondary sense attached.

___Miniature Demon
The host now becomes a smaller version of the Sanbi, with a thick gray shell now fully protruding from the back of the host with spiked protrusions all over it as well. In addition, the host becomes unable to stand on two feet, and it's three chakra tails also become spikey and long. It is at this stage that a massive jump in it's ability to manipulate water once again occurs such that the battlefield becomes it's own. At this point, the host can no longer walk at normal speeds, but while on or submerged in water it is a much faster and deadly threat entirely.
_Basic Effects:
  • While on land, speed is supremely decreased, but while on the surface of, or submerged in, water the host has a double supreme speed boost
  • Fortitude moderately boosted.
  • Suiton ninjutsu cast while in water are considered a rank harder to escape using the dodge system. In addition, defensive water ninjutsu have the cost decreases at B rank and above doubled while under or on water.
  • Enough water is now produced to effectively produce the Great Exploding Water Collision Waves technique for free. This also allows manipulation of all this water to the same scale as before.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Genjutsu can be cast once per post, free of activation, while the mist persists. Conversely, a single suiton ninjutsu can be cast free of activation while underwater. This has a two post cooldown regardless of which passive is used.
  • Genjutsu can be cast at double the cost (with the demon paying for the extra) in order to target any number of additional targets so long as the aforementioned mist still exists across the battlefield.
  • While fully submerged in water, ninjutsu of up to S rank fail to harm the host, but only one S rank is required to break this passive, and it renders the host's ninjutsu defenses inert for three posts instead of two.

___Demon Power
Basic: The host gives full control of their body to the Sanbi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all three tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Isobu will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Sanbi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Sanbi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Isobu's power without giving up their own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, shell is wrapped around the host; however, rather than folding into Isobu’s form, the shell will mold to the host's figure like a seconds skin. By taking on this shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Isobu's Chakra. Chakra pools around the user’s body like water.
_Basic Effects:
  • Isobu takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Isobu, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Genjutsu now cost 5 less chakra at D-C rank, 10 at B-A, and 20 at S and S+.
  • Genjutsu cast by the host have their primary senses boost by a rank in effectiveness.
  • Speed while submerged supremely increased.
  • Strength and fortitude greatly increased.
  • Using Shunshin and related techniques does not consume a use of Shunshin for the battle while in underwater but imposes a three post cd on it between uses.
  • The host can move freely on two legs as well as four on land.

    Description: The user molds demonic Chakra in to thin plates in their mouth, and then spits them at great speeds from the mouth. The plates resemble fish scales in shape, but are very sharp and rapidly expand to a meter across as they fly. Shoots a maximum of five scales per use.

    Shukuzu Sanran no Jutsu [ Miniature Copy Spawning Technique ]

    Description: The host opens its mouth and allows several person-sized miniature versions of the Sanbi to crawl out. The miniatures then chase and attack all creatures in the area other than the host, and are capable of using up to two b rank or lower Demon techniques before fading out of existence. Spawns five miniature copies per use. Not considered an offensive action.

    Kawarou no Jutsu [ Shell Prison Technique ]

    Description: The user makes a hand seal and focuses Chakra around the target. Plate-like armor begins to form around the target, encasing him or her in a prison made of the Sanbi’s armor. The armor can be broken by an A-Ranked technique but completely restrains those inside. Can be avoided with a timely evasion.

    Kappagakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Kappa Technique ]

    Description: The user sheds the shell they have created and appears nearby; the transfer is near-immediate and the shell left behind retains all of the techniques that the user cast on themselves before the transfer. In addition, the shell will continue to move for a full two posts after the user has shed it, acting and maneuvering with the user’s intelligence. Shell grows back after two posts, but during this time the host loses all demon based fortitude boosts. Requires miniature demon form to be used.

    Description: By feeding a large amount of Chakra in to a large body of water, the host causes it to rise up and coat nearby landscapes. D e s c r i p t i o n:
___ The demon's body is that of an enormous, four-tailed ape. It is covered in thick fur that is red on every part of the Yonbi’s body except for the chest, hands and feet, where it has no fur and shows its pale skin. The demon’s body is resistant to blunt damage and large amounts of heat. The Yonbi has the ability to shoot lava from its mouth through an extension of its throat, giving it both offensive and defensive versatility. It has four tails that are each significantly shorter than the main body, making them less mobile but stronger as weapons with their four stonelike bone protrusions near the ends; two large, dull canine teeth jut from the Yonbi’s upper jaw and end below the lower lip, even when the jaw is fully opened; hands with functioning thumbs; a powerful body; and enormous, muscular arms and legs. This demon controls the lava and magma of the world and can very slightly influence the emotions of those around it. Past hosts were known to reflect the demon’s red coloring in their hair or choice of dress. Should the Yonbi exert its influence over the host’s personality, the host will tend to act arrogantly and question authority, much like the proud beast inside them.
___Son has an understanding of Doton and Katon techniques, but refuses to use any of them. He will, however, still lend his power to a host who is using them in order to keep himself and the host alive. He prides himself on his prowess with Taijutsu and Bukijutsu alike, and enjoys seeing people brawl. He is somewhat interested in how humans use Taijutsu and Bukijutsu, though he would never use it personally. He would rather attack with formless taijutsu using his own natural weapons.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
A cloak of chakra born of the demon own flowing less restricted through the host will appear with small fires lighting within it's deep reddish brown and snuffing out. The host's eyes will become much harder and intense along with moderate sharpening of the teeth. Musculature pumps out as well. A single tail is usually also produced at this point. Unlike most demons this chakra cloak also extends to weapons.
_Basic Effects:
  • Mild strength and Speed boost.
  • Host's taijutsu attacks treat the opponent's fortitude as if it were slightly lowered on contact.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Mild Strength and Speed Boost
  • The demon can empower your taijutsu and bukijutsu attacks with either doton or katon, allowing them to deal double damage as well as overwhelm other taijutsu/bukijutsu attacks of same rank. When empowered, your hands take on the aesthetic of the element you chose.
  • Every time you receive damage you gain a mild boost to fortitude for the next post. Every time you land an attack you gain a mild boost to strength for the next post.

___Partial Transformation
The hosts muscles, more than any demon save for the Hachibi, will bulge and define themselves out significantly while the skin turns red all over them. Plumes of smoke rise from the corners of their mouths and their nostrils as well as four canine teeth extending farther out than the rest. The arms, too, will increase in length. A second tail, at the least, will show itself here. The edges of these chakra tails will now have stone growths at their ends that are superheated.
_Basic Effects:
  • Strength and speed heavily increased.
  • The Yonbi can fly into an even greater rage than most demons, gathering a supreme boost to fortitude, as well as a heavy strength and speed increase. This lasts for two posts, but afterwards the skill goes on a four post cd, and it's DR boosts are halved.
  • Katon and Doton techniques overwhelm same rank attacks so long as the demon pays half again the cost of the technique.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Stength and speed heavily increased.
  • If the first skill used in a post is a taijutsu or bukijutsu technique, it will not cost an activation to use.
  • The Yonbi can pay the chakra or stamina of an incoming taijutsu or bukijutsu technique to burn it's body to reflect the damage that was done to it back on the attacker in flames. Four post cooldown.
  • Taijutsu and bukijutsu are increased in power by one rank so long as the Yonbi pays half again the cost of any skill used. This also increases the damage on successful hits by empowering the mediums with chakra to be as hard as iron or to burn.

___Cloak of the Demon Version 2
The cloak now turns into a layer of skin over the target, warping them to be even more shaped like the demon itself. The pops out another tail as well, with them ebcoming even thicker though compared to most other demons they aren't very long. The chakra shapes into the crest on the demon's face as well, and the eyes become completely yellow as does the frequently open mouth of the demon as well. Smog continues to release itself from the mouth of the demon, and lava drips out of it's mouth. Unlike most demons this chakra cloak also extends to weapons. Lastly, a monkey's skull comes through like a helmet connected to a spinal column that also extends bones along the arms, legs, hands and feet.
_Basic Effects:
  • Capable of walking along any lava the demon makes without fear of harm, now.
  • The demon can now make one movement that is dedicated entirely to movement without it costing an activation once every two posts.
  • Gains an extra activation.
  • Speed and strength supremely increased. Physical attacks that make contact treat the target as if their defense was moderately weaker.
_Advanced Effects:
  • When making any attack that involves closing distance as a part of it's description, the host denies the target their reflex to avoid it.
  • The Yonbi can augment the tai and weapon attacks of the host to be empowered by lava. These techniques now are considered spiritual, but the Yonbi has to pay the chakra cost in addition to the cost of the technique for this passive to take effect.
  • Fortitude and Reflex boosted moderately.
  • Fire and Doton techniques have their damage lowered by a rank against the host.

___Miniature Demon Stage
With the emergence of the fourth tail, the layer of skin that was previously chakra solidifies into a skin over the host. They increase in size significantly, though the yonbi is one of the smaller hosts, as do any weapons that they are wielding. They look extremely close to a miniature version of the Yonbi, complete with an ape's longer arms and stature.
_Basic Effects:
  • Fortitude and reflex Supremely increased moderately
  • Targets struck by the host have their fortitude treated as though it were heavily lowered.
  • Increases the boost to fortitude from taking a hit to a heavy boost instead of a mild one. This also increases the boost from landing an attack to a heavy one.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The host and demon can korabo their katon or doton attacks with a taijutsu or bukijutsu attack. This combination increases the power of said attacks by two ranks instead of one, but has a cooldown of 3 posts.
  • When the Yonbi flies into a rage now, it gains double the stat gains from before but it goes on cooldown for one post longer.
  • Katon and Doton are empowered by a rank so long as the Yonbi agrees to pay the same amount of chakra for the tech that the host does.

_Advanced Effects:
  • Whenever a katon or doton jutsu is used, so long as the demon pays half again the cost of the technique, it will take on the properties of it's youton. Katon techniques will be infused with molten rock, and doton techniques will be set ablaze. These techs are considered Youton.
  • Taijutsu and Bukijutsu attacks at this stage treat the target's fortitude as being supremely lower on contact.
  • Host gains full immunity to Katon while raging. Damage still procs the fortitude boost.
  • Gains an extra activation so long as that activation is used on a taijutsu or bukijutsu attack. When allies are given chakra by the demon, they can use a single extra activation on their next post as well.

    Description: Thickens the skin on the host’s hands with demon chakra such that the next attack that lands is sure to cause at least fractures at the impact point. Augments the next tai or buki skill used, does not consume an activation.

    Youton: Kenka no Waza [ Laza Release: Art of the Brawl ]
    Rank: X [Leared as D]
    Description: The user extends the demon’s Chakra into nearby rock and causes it to melt while they fights. After one post of melting, small orbs of lava will shoot out from the molten rock and will fly alongside the user’s punches and kicks for two posts. The orbs are roughly the size of the user’s fist. Has to cool down for one post per rank after the two posts go by.

C Rank
    Houkou [ Roar ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user lets out a loud, bestial roar. This roar is loud enough to be heard across large expanses and can shake poorly-made buildings. The technique grows slightly in effectiveness if the user is in a stage higher than Cloak of the Demon Version One. At each stage beyond, the demon increases it's power and cost by one rank. At Cloak of the Demon Version Two, it is accompanied by a heavy heatwave that sets the area ablaze and has enough blunt force to knock down a tree. Must be at least in Version One to use.

    Yougan no Supaato [ Lava Spurt ]
    Rank: C
    Description: After forming a hand seal, the user sends demonic Chakra in to the ground. Soon, a pocket of lava will burst upward at a point set by the user. Unfortunately, the ground at the point of eruption heats up for one full post before bursting, serving as a potential tip-off to an enemy. The lava takes two posts to cool, and creates enough to spread out over ten feet over those two posts.

B Rank
    Yougan Mizubitashi [ Lava Submersion ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user will melt nearby ground, creating a three foot wide hole filled with lava. This is usually made under an opponent and is used as a trap, as the lava can easily consume an entire person. This melting happens over the course of just a few moments, making it not instantly melt anyone it comes in contact with.

    Hatsunetsu [ Heat Generation ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user claps their hands and forces demonic Chakra into the chakra or fur covering their body. The tips of the strands of fur then begin to heat, rising in temperature until they are capable of melting rocks with a touch. Lasts for five posts, and deals B rank damage anytime the host comes in contact with something.

    Hagane Shoukyo [ Melting Away Steel ]
    Rank: A
    Description: After coming in to direct contact with steel, the user sends demonic Chakra in to the object. It will immediately begin to heat, and after a post it will melt even if it is no longer in contact with the user. This can only affect areas the size of a person.

    Yougan no Hada [ Lava Skin ]
    Rank: A
    Description: The user gathers lava and wears it like a second skin. The lava will remain hot for five posts, and can attach to others if they come into contact with it. If the lava makes contact with rock, the rock will melt into the mantle and increase its size. At any time, the user can cause the lava to explode off of their body in all directions, coating the surrounding area in lava. Lava slides off of the user after five posts.

    Yougan no Enchuu [ Lava Column ]
    Rank: A
    Description: After stepping on a rocky patch of land, the Yonbi sends a surge of its demonic Chakra down into the rock. After the beast has moved off, the rock erupts and bursts skyward. However, instead of remaining liquid, the lava cools to form hot boulders as it rises, creating a hail storm of hot rocks for those below.

    Jirai no Jutsu [ Mine Technique ]
    Rank: A
    Description: After making physical contact with someone or something, the user leaves a bomb made of demonic Chakra behind at the point of contact. This bomb detonates after a few seconds, long enough usually for the host to have thrown it at a target.

S Rank
    Kakazan [ Flower-Fruit Mountain ]
    Rank: S
    Description: Liquefies a large section of earth and sends it exploding upward. This technique is large enough to consume an entire Bijuu and is activated when the user strikes the ground. Affects an area twenty meters in radius at a point the user specifies within 40 meters. Takes just a few seconds for the area to heat up and burst.

    Hitoare no Jutsu [ Burst of Anger Technique ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The user will raise both fists above their head and then strike the ground. The strength behind the technique cracks the ground, but the large amount of Chakra behind the technique serves another purpose: after two posts, the ground of the area affected will melt away and become a lake of lava. This technique affects a spherical area 10 meters in diameter.

    Kaibutsu no Doki [ Wrath of the Beast ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The beast gathers a large amount of Chakra in its mouth and fires a ball of condensed Chakra. However, unlike other versions of the Bijuu Ball, this is not typically aimed at a specific target; rather, it is fired at the landscape in general, as it liquefies all rock in its path.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___The demon's body is that of an enormous, five-tailed whale-horse covered in thick white fur that waterproofs the body and keeps the demon warm; due to this, the demon is resistant to water and water-based attacks, as well as cold temperatures. In addition to its defensive fur, the Gobi has the ability to use steam to harm its enemies, and uses the steam to double as a secondary defense while attacking. Its five tails are each as long as the main body and are used for balance and, occasionally, as blunt weapons. It has a large, scoop-like mouth that it uses to swallow its prey; muscular, hooved legs; and five large, fin-shaped horns on its head that help it swim when it needs to do so. This demon controls steam, and is almost constantly surrounded by a warm, humid fog when not sealed. Should the demon influence the personality of the host will tend to be reclusive, thoughtful and very humble, much like the demon itself.
___Kokuou has a thorough understanding of Suiton and Raiton techniques, but does not use them; however, she will often let a host know what a Suiton or Raiton technique’s effects are, should the user catch the hand signs and provided they aren't. Conversely, she can identify ongoing techniques if the host can see their effects or is given adequate description. She is only helpful in this manner if she and the person she’s communicating with are on good terms.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
At this stage the demon's chakra flows more freely through the host, manifesting itself in the shape of a gray cloak of chakra around their body in the relative shape of the host if it were bipedal. Typically, up to two tails are present during this chakra cloak, which are shaped much like the demon's own.
_Basic Effects:
  • Moderate speed boost.
  • The host can increase their speed even further when moving in straight lines, increasing the base speed boost from moderate to supreme. As soon as they turn more than to slightly edit their path, however, the boost returns to a moderate.
  • Steam surrounds the host at a range of five feet, very slightly obscuring the host's body. Contact with the steam, at this stage, deals E rank damage to a victim. Steam is dispelled by attacks that match it's rank in damage without stopping them, and the passive is disabled for 2 posts.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Moderate speed boost with the same stipulation as the above.
  • When the host comes to a stop after moving at top speed, should an attack connect, then the host can transfer their speed boost into a strength boost as well.
  • Suiton techniques are electrified, dealing a rank lower in extra damage on successful hits so long as the demon pays half again as much chakra as the original technique. Raiton techniques have the blunt force of a suiton attack dealing similar extra damage for the same cost. This also causes these techniques to overwhelm same ranked techniques.

___Partial Transformation
The body of the host, at this stage, begins to change to resemble the Gobi more than before now. Their legs take the shape of a horses, often breaking right through shoes to do so. The skin of the host also turns a pale white and horns appear to break through their head a bit more. They have the apperance of a Satyr moreso than a human, and at least two tails are produced at this stage.
_Basic Effects:
  • Moderate speed and reflex boost. Speed is still increased while moving in mostly straight lines to a supreme boost.
  • Steam continues to pump out of the host, filling an area of up to 10 feet away from the host. Damage is increased to C rank now.
  • Now when the host moves, the area behind them remains a hazard as the steam doesn't simply disappear. On the host's next post the steam fades.
_Advanced Effects:
  • At this stage, the demon can pay an amount of it's own stamina to propel the host even faster. For every rank starting with D, a mild increase can be tacked on that lasts only for the post it was put on.
  • Steam becomes corrosive to attacks that aren't of a higher rank when it comes in contact with it's aura. Lower ranked techniques will simply burn up without making it through, while equal ranked techniques will penetrate it, but not without losing a rank of effectiveness.
  • If the demon pays for a suiton technique alongside the host, it can be transformed into a steam technique instead. Only the host isn't actually harmed by this steam, and otherwise being hit by steam attacks can potentially cook those within alive. Only effects offensive suiton techniques, not those that simply create lakes, or the hidden mist vision for example. Suiton treated as Futton.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
The host has the demon's chakra cover it's entire body in a second, yellow and white skin. The host will hunch over, body realigning to resemble a horse even more now, as well as their jaw elongating to look more like that of the host. At this stage, the host's third and possibly forth tail come forth. In addition, the skull of a horse connected to a spinal cord punches through the host's back to crest over it's shoulder. The bone structure of the spine is more like that of a dolphin, extending ribs down the side of the body, while still having connecting points for arm and leg bones that reach down over the host's existing limbs.
_Basic Effects:
  • Steam released now maintains an aura of 20 feet around the host, damage is boosted to B rank.
  • Reflex Moderately boosted.
  • Steam based attacks are rendered ineffective against the host.
  • The host gains an extra activation.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Steam created by the demon conducts raiton through itself, making the attack effect the entirety of the steam area equally. Particularly useful for directed attacks. Raiton loses a rank of damage against the host while it is within it's own steam, and it's own raiton attacks don't effect them at all.
  • Even when the steam aura is gone, the host's taijutsu attacks deal additional amount of damage equal to the damage of the steam aura when they connect. This damage is particularly useful against armored targets.
  • The demon can pay an equal cost as the host to boost their suiton and raiton techniques by a rank in strength.

___Miniature Demon
At this stage the host is, for all intents and purposes, unrecognizable. Their body is now quadrupedal, hooved, and entirely white. The tips of the tails and fur around the hooves are stained slightly yellow, and steam seems to flood from it's mouth and nose with each exhale. In addition all of the tails will be present at this stage.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme reflex increase.
  • If the first attack in a post is one born of steam, suiton, or raiton then it will not take up an activation.
  • So long as a movement based action is only used to move in a straight line, the host pays less resources to do it. The chart is as follows: -5 for D-C ranks, -10 for B-A, and -20 for S-S+.
  • The steam aura increases to 25 feet, and deals S rank damage.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Suiton and Raiton attacks cost less to cast. The chart is as follows: -5 for D-C ranks, -10 for B-A, and -20 for S-S+.
  • When moving in straight lines, including to attack an opponent, the user's speed cannot be reduced.
  • The steam aura increases to 30 feet, and deals S rank damage.
  • The host can expel a mass of steam sufficient enough to double it's range for a post, coating it in extremely potent steam of equal rank to it's damage. Once this happens it lingers for another post, then the host is without it's steam cloak for 2 posts after it dissipates. Does not consume an activation.

___Demon Power Stage
Basic: The host gives full control of their body to the Gobi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all five tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Kokuou will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Gobi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body, essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Gobi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Kokuou's power without giving up their own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, the host’s body is coated in fur; however, rather than taking on Kokuou’s form, the host retains their own figure. By rejecting the Gobi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Kokuou's Chakra. Chakra coat is white with yellow around the cuffs of the pants, wrists, and collar.
_Basic Effects:
  • Kokuou takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Kokuou, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme speed increase, doubled when moving in a straight line. Host can now curve better and retain this boost as well, sufficient to change direction one time in a post and retain the boost.
  • Supreme reflex increase.
  • Raiton and Suiton deal a rank less damage to the host.

    Description: Allows the user to jump in a straight line for up to 20 meters without significantly falling. This technique affects all jumps performed within one post, adding a mild speed boost the user's leaps as they close distance faster.

    Gobi no Tameiki [ The Sigh of the Five-Tails ]
    Rank: C
    Description: After inhaling deeply, the user lets out a sigh. As the sigh travels, a thick mist rises up to move in the same direction, enveloping all those in its path in a mist so thick that it cannot be seen through without Doujutsu. This mist clings to those it touches, even if they move out of the main body, causing C rank damage every post until it dissipates or is removed. Lasts for four posts.

    Suijoukidama [ Steam Ball ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user exhales a ball of steam that floats at about head-height. As soon as the ball comes into contact with anything physical, it pops and surrounds that object, clinging to it for three posts. The steam obscures all vision from within, making it impossible to see through without a Doujutsu. It is also severely hot, slowly boiling the flesh of whoever touches it. Lasts for two posts.

    Asamoya [ Morning Mist ]

    Description: Creates a light mist that coats the area at an even height, affecting an entire thread. This technique is used to disguise traps and to rob the enemy of the ability to judge the terrain by sight. Has no set duration, as it lasts until dispersed naturally or by significantly widespread Jutsu.

    Suijouki Sekiryoku [ Steam Repulsion ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Protects the host from and repels techniques of lower rank for four of the host’s posts. Steam is pushed from the host's pours, a thicker amount if already in a chakra cloak in which case this fog takes on the rank of the coating already on. This is used to prevent attacks from latching onto the user that otherwise would, though it has other applications as well, such as burning a target. It mostly serves to increase upon the existing steam strength if within a chakra cloak, requiring two hits to dispel the ambient steam instead of one. Has a three post cd.

    Kiri no Te no Jutsu [ Mist Hand Technique ]

    Description: The user channels demonic Chakra into pre-existing fog, mist, steam, or some other type of vapor cloud, and causes it to reach toward enemies. If it makes contact, it latches on and spreads to form a superheated prison around the target. Lasts for four posts.

    Kanchigumo no Jutsu [ Sensory Cloud Technique ]

    Description: Creates a cloud 5 meters across centered on the user. If any Chakra source enters the cloud, the user will be immediately notified of its relative strength and position. The technique is automatically dispersed if the host uses another technique, but it can be turned into boiling steam at a moment’s notice at no extra cost. Lasts for five posts.

    Tsunoori [ Horn Breaking ]

    Description: Kokuō drives her horns directly into the opponent using a powerful charge. The force of this attack is so great that it can send another tailed beast flying a considerable distance away. Repels those struck 10 meters away. Distance is quadrupled in full demon mode, but requires at least Partial transformation to be used.

    Description: A technique which forces all steam, fog, and mist in the area that was created by the host to rapidly expand. This rapid expansion pushes away all other clouds, including poison and smoke, and is so thick that those caught in it will begin choking. The mist, steam, and/or fog will fill up the area after one post, then dissipates.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___The demon's body is that of an enormous, six-tailed slug covered in a clear slime, which can be manipulated to become acidic, basic, sticky, or slick. It is said that the beast consumes the life force of creatures slain by its corrosive slime. Its six tails are each slightly shorter than the main body. It has two small arms; large, heavy legs; and a toothless mouth. This demon is very kind compared to other demons and does not like to see needless sacrifice; as such, it is considered one of the more agreeable demons, as it does not often try to break free and will even help the host, though neither of these apply if the host is cruel or needlessly violent. Should the demon exert its influence over the host’s personality, the host will typically become very calm and helpful.
___Saiken is not very familiar with any kind of technique, but can transform suiton techniques into slime techniques. As the host progresses through mastery of the demon, this boost becomes much more noticeable.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
With the free flow of the demon's chakra now affecting the host, they will produce between one and two tails connected to a dark blue chakra cloak. A small bit of slime will begin to secrete from the host's body as well at this point, dripping from their fingers and their face.
_Basic Effects:
  • Mild fortitude boost. The host's skin becomes slippery and the actual body a lot more... squishy.
  • At this stage, the slime passively dripping from the host's fingers and face can be expelled much more violently from either, with the demon paying for it's expenditure up to the host's jutsu using limit. Can be done once per post, and is about equal in usage to a suiton projectile besides that it is also extremely heavy, making it so that a target is slowed down slightly per rank of the slime attack that hit them for two posts. Additional hits refresh the cooldown while stacking the slow. Initially fills about a 5 foot radius with slime at e rank, which doubles per rank above.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Suiton jutsu can be empowered if the demon pays half again the cost of the technique, transforming it into a slime jutsu. This gives the technique the above basic passive in addition to it's own effects.
  • Mild fortitude boost.
  • Targets that come in contact with even ambient slime have their speed reduced slightly. If the slime was previously a part of a technique, it will retain it's rank where the slow effect is concerned over it's range for two posts. The slime is also considered extremely slippery in addition to slowing a target in contact
  • Suiton jutsu empowered by the demon are no longer a rank weaker to Doton.

___Partial Transformation Stage [2]
The slime that previously appeared in patches now flows more freely the arms, back, and torso of the host, and demonic Chakra flows outward near the rear to form another chakra tail. Additionally, the skin swells a bit and takes on a lighter hue closer to the white shade of the demon’s body.
_Basic Effects:
  • Slime can now be made sticky instead of slippery once per post instead of simply being heavy. This changes all active slime. This has a heavier slowing effect on targets than before, imposing a moderate slow per rank. Can fire two slime attacks per post instead of one.
  • Suiton techniques empowered by the demon at this stage overwhelm same rank techniques.
  • Defensive suiton jutsu turned to sticky slime are an entire rank stronger.
  • Mild fortitude boost.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The demon can expel slime, at this stage, from their body in a defensive maneuver. This slime is a spiritual technique when colliding with tai and bukijutsu, and will overwhelm same rank offenses. Must be paid for by the demon's chakra.
  • Moderate fortitude boost.
  • Suiton jutsu have their chakra cost reduced at this stage. The chart is as follows: -5 for D-C ranks, -10 for B-A, and -20 for S-S+.

___Cloak of the Demon Version 2
The skin of the host becomes covered in a layer of dark blue chakra, and they begin to look more like the demon itself with their body expanding by a noticeable margin. Now everytime they move a significant amount of slime falls from their skin as well. The fifth tail makes itself known here as well. The eyes become large white circles, with a drooling white mouth also existing.
_Basic Effects:
  • At this stage, the host's offensive power suddenly spikes as the slime becomes able to take on caustic properties. Now instead of lowering the target's speed, it will decrease their fortitude slightly per rank on afflicted areas, while also dealing damage equal to what the demon paid to project the slime. Affects all slime, including Suiton converted into slime. Changing slime modes takes up a single activation.
  • Moderate Fortitude boost.
  • Offensive suiton turned into corrosive slime are increased by a rank.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Slime attacks will passively corrode the environment at the host's behest, slowly eating away at everything that isn't protected by higher ranked chakra.
  • Gains an extra activation.
  • Increases the fortitude debuff to a mild per rank.

___Miniature Demon Stage
The host will allow Rokubi's bone structure to form out of demonic Chakra around their body, leaving a humanoid body under the Rokubi’s skeleton. Bodily features become those of the demon: the body swells, the teeth recede, the torso grows, arms shrink as the legs thicken, the hands and feet become encased in a soft, spongy substance, and the sixth tail begins forming.
_Basic Effects:
  • The demon can expel slime from the host without taking up an activation once per post.
  • The host's first suiton jutsu in a post doesn't take up an activation so long as it's empowered by the demon.
  • Can switch slime modes once per post for free.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Suiton empowered slime maintain their debuffing effects for three posts instead of two.
  • Suiton techniques have their volumes tripled when they are used with slime, where applicable. When definite amounts aren't given, assume a significantly higher amount of slime is created.
  • The host will slowly regenerate wounds done to it's body up to a limb being removed over the course of two posts. Major organs that are destroyed are not regenerated, however.

___Demon Power Stage

  • Roleplayer acts as Saiken, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Allies given the Rokubi's chakra are immune to it's acidic effects.
  • Enemies that are caught within any slime based attack have all of their DR reduced by a mild amount per rank of the attack, and receive damage per post as if it were acidic.
  • One suiton technique per post can have it's rank boosted by the demon paying double it's cost on top of the host paying the normal amount, as well as it turning to slime, but on the post following it the host loses it's bonuses to Suiton jutsu. It can still be turned to slime, however.

    Kamitsubute no Jutsu [ Spit Ball Technique ]
    Rank: D
    Description: The user spits a sticky ball of liquid at a target. The stickiness can make it difficult to move or perform hand seals, and can render projectiles nearly useless. Hitting someone’s hands reduces their available actions by one unless they do not use their hands that post.

    Hedoro Kaiten [ Slime Rotation ]
    Rank: X (Trained as D)
    Description: Allows the user to change the properties of slime after it has been launched, provided the slime has not become inert. The slime can be made highly corrosive, slippery, sticky or can harden to trap those within it. Adds three posts to the time any affected slime remains active. Affects all slime being used in ninjutsu from the host, but must be of at least the highest rank of those skills.

    Shabondama no Jutsu [ Soap Bubble Technique ]
    Rank: D
    Description: The user forms an “O” shape with their mouth and blows a bubble. This bubble floats, can be directed to locations by the user, and can clearly reflect its surroundings. When it is destroyed, it bursts with a loud pop, spreading whatever slime the user has active.

C Rank
    Yogoshijutsu [ Staining Technique ]
    Rank: C
    Description: After the target comes into contact with some of the user’s slime, the user can activate this technique. The slime loses all of its other special properties, but stains the Chakra signature of the target. This stain can be felt and followed by the host and noticed by sensors. Technique lasts for five posts.

B Rank
    Suberiyasui Hedoro no Jutsu [ Slippery Slime Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: The user inhales, and then spits out a large volume of slime. This slime spreads out very quickly, coating as much as possible and flowing up vertical surfaces in order to widen its coverage. The slime is incredibly slippery, making it difficult to stand on even while using Chakra. Objects coated in this slime become almost impossible to hold or even stand on. Can coat an area up to 20 meters in radius in slime. The slime can last up to five posts, and any time during that five posts converted into another so long as the host can use it.

    Hoshijutsu [ Draining Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Contrary to common thought, this technique does not drain Chakra. By sending out a wave of Chakra that reaches everywhere within ten meters of the user, the user is able to affect the slime in the area, lulling any target covered in it into a lethargic state and eventually causing sleep. Lethargy occurs one post after activation, sleep occurs three posts after activation. Lasts for five posts.

    Description: The user covers himself or herself in a highly corrosive layer of slime which burns through restraints enough for the user to slip free. Will burn through restraints the technique’s rank or lower. Only affects things the user is touching, though the slime can flow like normal. If used with a Chakra cloak active, that cloak turns dark blue.

    Kahen na Nami [ Variable Wave ]
    Rank: A
    Description: The user sends out a large wave of slime that splashes across the area. After the initial activation, the user can change the slime to make it any of it's own slime types available, but in the extreme: the stickiness can bind crowds of people in place, and the slick slime makes it nearly impossible find and keep a grip on anything. The corrosive slime is extremely dangerous as it can caustically break down a lot of a thread, comparable to the Raging River Force technique.

    Katai Hedoro [ Hard Slime ]
    Rank: A
    Description: After forming a hand seal, the user sends out a wave of demonic Chakra to all of the slime in the area. The slime immediately hardens and loses all of its other properties, but cannot be broken by a force weaker than A-Rank.

    Sansan [ Acid Scattering ]
    Rank: A
    Description: The user releases a dense gas composed of a highly corrosive alkaline substance from their mouth. The gas is strong enough to instantly disintegrate wood, and over a post destroy metal. Lasts for a single post.

S Rank
    Fushokudan [ Corrosion Bomb ]
    Rank: S
    Description: Immediately hardens all active slime not on the use. One full post later, all hardened slime sublimates into a large cloud of incredibly corrosive gas. Affects all slime in a subforum, but only lasts for one post.

    Shuushutsu no Jutsu [ Constriction Technique ]
    Rank: S
    Description: Causes all slime in the area to harden and constrict with enough force to break rock. This technique is used usually to kill large numbers of enemies or to destroy architecture; either way, it is devastating. Affects an entire thread. Cost is halved if the slime is already hardened, whether by Jutsu or otherwise. Affected slime does not have to be active.

    Namekuji no Kyouran [ Slug’s Frenzy ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The Rokubi gathers a large amount of Chakra in its mouth, and then expels it in a devastating, wide-range blast. The blast lacks the power that most high level Bijuu attacks ahve, but scatters slime over a 100 foot area in addition to being treated as one rank higher against defensive jutsu.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Fuu. The demon's body is that of a large beetle with six wings and one cerci serving as its seven tails. It is covered in a hard exoskeleton that serves as armor for the Bijuu. In addition to its wings and cerci, the Nanabi has six arms adorned with razor-sharp claws that the creature uses to latch on to prey and to climb, as well as a large forked horn on the head that serves as a bashing weapon. This demon controls the winds of the world, and uses them to supplement its already formidable defensive and offensive capabilities. Despite its considerable power, past hosts were not known to retain any facets of the demon’s physical appearance; however, due to the Nanabi’s relative strength, hosts tend to take on its personality to a degree and are cheerful and inquisitive unless they can thoroughly suppress the demon. In addition, hosts typically wear clothing that is either very light in color or very dark to symbolize their connection with the demon, as it contains both very bright and very dark hues on its body.
___Chomei has a thorough understanding of Fuuton and Doton, much like Shukaku. He can use any Fuuton and Doton techniques. He is a sucker when it comes to the number seven, and will almost always comment on, or be relatively excited about, any techniques involving that number. Hosts frequently report hearing his voice for the first time seven days after the sealing or on their seventh birthday, whichever is later. Lesser known is that Chomei is also a master of sensory jutsu.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
As chakra flows more freely throughout the host's body, causing a bluish yellow cloak to surround their form. Their skin hardens slightly, their eyes having their pupils seem to split into two as well. At least one tail manifests itself here, with an extra two being possible. before the partial transformation stage.
_Basic Effects:
  • The host has it's ability to fight increased while connected to the ground. While touching the earth, the host has a moderate strength and fortitude boost. The moment the host is not connected to the floor, however, the boost immediately disappears.
  • The tremor sense technique is considered to be constantly on, paid for by the demon post to post.
  • Doton techniques overwhelm same rank techniques while grounded.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The demon can pay double the cost of a Doton technique the host uses in order to increase the projectiles of the used technique by double. These extras, if they hit the same target, increase the rank of the damage, but can target two separate targets.
  • If the host has any sensory techniques, the demon will pay for it's usage, increasing the range and sensory intensity such that the host is considered both a zoom and oracle discipline sensory class ninja.
  • Moderate Fortitude and Strength boost.

___Partial Transformation
The host has an actual carapace push out on some spots of it's body at this stage, with the eyes fully becoming compound eyes as well. The chakra tails seem to be connected to a wad of chakra at the lower back of the host, rather than the shape of their lower torso. Up to four chakra tails can be produced at this stage as well.
_Basic Effects:
  • The host can now use their tails, so long as their are at least four, to take flight for up to two posts at a time with a one post cd. While disconnected from the ground, the host gains different passives than before.
  • While in flight, speed and reflex are boosted moderately.
  • Fuuton jutsu overwhelm same rank techniques while in flight.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The demon can pay double the cost of a Fuuton technique the host uses in order to increase the projectiles of the used techniques by double. These extras, if they hit the same target, increase the rank of the damage, but can target two separate targets as well.
  • The host's own fuuton jutsu become one rank stronger so long as the demon pays half again it's cost to use, but only while airborne. The same is applicable to doton when the host is in contact with the ground.
  • The host does not need to form handseals for fuuton jutsu while in the air.
  • While in flight, speed and reflex are boosted moderately.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
The host now has the Nanabi's chakra wrap around it's body like a secondary skin, a blueish yellow hue, and their body begins to morph more into the shape of the demon with the shoulders and upper torso widening and the mound of chakra connecting the tails now becoming a growth like a thorax. The host's legs become slightly skinnier, as do it's arms, and in the place of a skeleton an exoskeleton of sorts pushes through the forearms, knees, shoulders, and chest. The compound eyes become hidden by a facemask remnant of the face of Chomei. Two more tails produce themselves, and finally, a beetles horn begins to form on the head.
_Basic Effects:
  • When grounded, a further moderate to fortitude and strength is given. While airborne, speed and reflex are increased.
  • The host can spend an activation to cause shockwaves in the earth by stomping, decreasing the reflex and speed by targets on the ground mildly for two posts. This effect causes any doton techniques used by the host's enemies to be depowered by a rank, as well as making the ground unstable. The shockwaves are capable enough to destabilize non enforced chakra constructs, and even those up to C rank. Has a one post cd once the effect ends. Does not effect the host, and they must stay in contact with it for this to take effect.
  • Gains an extra activation.
_Advanced Effects:
  • While in the air, the host can spend an activation to buzz it's wings violently, causing sensory techniques it uses to double their range, while scrambling sensory techniques in range. This effect lasts for two posts, and in addition the chakra pumping out also causes the air to be layered with demonic chakra, lowering the strength of Fuuton others use in the area by one rank. The pressure it exerts also lowers strength and fortitude mildly. Has a one post CD. Must be flying for this to take effect.
  • The host gains a free usage of the doton shunshin while grounded, even if they do not know the technique. While airborne, the host can use the fuuton version for free as well. Only one is applicable per post.
  • The demon and host can korabo together a doton technique, further increasing the rank of the attack on top of any other boosts once every three posts.
  • When grounded, a further moderate to fortitude and strength is given. While airborne, speed and reflex are increased.

___Miniature Demon Stage
The host grows an outer carapace over their body, making them, in appearance, a small version of the nanabi. What isn't covered, parts of the joints and the tails themselves
_Basic Effects:
  • While grounded, Doton techniques cost less chakra, 5 less for D-C ranks, 10 less for B-A ranks, and 20 less for S-S+. This is mirrored for wind techniques while airborne.
  • The first Doton technique used in a post does not consume an activation. Only effective while grounded. While airborne, the first Fuuton technique used in a post doesn't cost an activation. The host cannot trigger both of these effects at the same time.
  • While the host is using sensory techniques, enemy effects that hide them from sensors are cancelled. Likewise, hidden traps or techniques that work as such fail to evade it's notice.
  • When grounded, another moderate to fortitude and strength is given. While airborne, speed and reflex are increased.
_Advanced Effects:
  • When grounded, a final moderate to fortitude and strength is given. While airborne, speed and reflex are increased.
  • Following a post where the host was grounded and used a Doton attack at the end of their post, they can maintain their strength and fortitude boost for one post while in the air.
  • Following a post where the host was airborne and ended they're post with a Fuuton attack they can keep their boost to speed and reflex.
  • The above to passives can be forgone the user doesn't change their vector of movement and instead have active boosts to their respective stats increase moderately following the use of a Doton or Fuuton jutsu.


___Demon Power Stage
Basic: The host gives full control of their body to the Nanabi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all six wings and the cerci, which grants the demon balance during flight, formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Chomei will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Nanabi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Nanabi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Chomei's power without giving up their own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. Once more, the host’s skin darkens to a blue-black color; however, rather than taking on Chomei’s form, the host retains their own figure. By rejecting the Nanabi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Chomei's Chakra and the ability to travel on walls and ceilings without the use of Chakra. Chakra grips onto the host’s body like scales.
_Basic Effects:
  • Chomei takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Chomei, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The host now maintains all stat boosts regardless of being in the air or the ground.
  • One Fuuton and oen Doton technique can be used free of activation per post.
  • Supplementary Sensory techniques do not take up an activation.

    Description: The user forms a hand seal and then swings a limb. A large gust of wind follows the path of the limb with a range of 2 meters, starting at the user’s center. This wind is strong enough to topple objects that are not stable or secured including people, and has the stinging pain of a slap.

    Kaze no Kumo [ Cloud of Wind ]

    Description: The user inhales, and then exhales. As soon as the user exhales, wind is pushed suddenly and quickly away from their body in all directions, providing a good defense against projectiles and pushing Shinobi backward several meters.

    Description: The user launches earthy scales from the body, scattering them across the ground. Whenever a scale is stepped on, it explodes with an explosion strong enough to severely damage the legs of the unfortunate person who triggered the trap. Scatters 20 scales, which remain active for ten posts.

    Karakaze no Jutsu [ Dry Wind Technique ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Sends a soft breeze across the ground in order to pick up dirt, rock, and debris, and then lifts it up and launches it at the eyes of one or more targets. The breeze can pick up small objects, such as boxes and palm sized stones. Lasts three posts, during which time the breeze will actively try to throw light things at the heads of any opponent near the user.

    Daiyou no Jutsu [ Replacement Technique ]

    Description: If the Nanabi’s exoskeleton or body is immobilized, the host can crack open the body to escape from the immobilization. Doing so puts the user in a stage of activation one lower than they started with, unless in the Nanabi’s complete form. This shell can then be broken down into scales for use with other techniques. Requires Cloak of the Demon Version Two be active.

    Description: The user flaps the formed wings several times very quickly over a very small distance, causing a loud buzzing to permeate the air. If connected to the ground while using this skill, it also causes disruptions in the ground that disrupt Doton techniques up to B rank.

    Sageyoku no Jutsu [ Wing Flap Technique ]

    Description: The user flaps their wings twice, whipping up a large gust of wind that blows away in all directions at shin-height. The gust is powerful enough to topple small buildings and kick up large clouds of dust at the same time, but is used mainly to knock down and repel enemies. Has a range of fifteen meters and lasts for up to two posts of flapping.

    Gisou no Jutsu [ Camouflage Technique ]

    Description: Alters the colors of the user’s body and the demonic Chakra to more closely match the colors of the surroundings. This color can change up to three times before the technique wears off and the colors revert to what they were originally. Cannot be seen through via Doujutsu, unlike other techniques similar to it. Sensors using sensory techniques B-Rank or above can uncover the user. Nonsupplemental actions end the camouflage.

    Oroshijutsu [ Launching Technique ]

    Description: Propels all objects and people in an area ten meters in radius roughly one hundred feet in the air by creating a strong updraft. This has the added effect of nullifying techniques under S-Rank that involve downward motion. The upward acceleration is sudden enough to prevent the completion of hand seals and cause severe whiplash. If used indoors, this technique will destroy eight stories of architecture above it. Anaugment of this skill also destroys the earth, sending massive boulders into the air with the combatants to create a dangerous zone of aerial combat. Technique persists for three posts.

    Makaze [ Devil Wind ]

    Description: After gathering chakra at the tip of the horn, the Nanabi releases the Chakra in one direction. The Chakra is green in color and can blow through a forest easily. The blast is accompanied by strong winds, and together the combination can annihilate a small city.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Killer Bee. The demon's body is that of an ox’s torso with the tentacles of an octopus, each tentacle serving as a tail. It is covered in gray-brown skin that offers little protection other than simply being durable. In addition to its eight tentacles, the Hachibi has two large, muscular arms and a head adorned with two sets of tough horns that the creature uses to do battle with other creatures. This demon is very tough and serious, and tends to use its head to augment its power more than the other demons seem to. However, despite its considerable power, past hosts were not known to retain any facets of the demon’s physical appearance, nor did they retain any of the mental attributes of the demon outside of its personality, usually, if the host takes on personality traits from the Gyuuki it mellows them out and forces them to almost overthink things.
___Gyuuki, being the most outwardly intelligent of the Bijuu, can remember the name and effects of any technique he sees twice. However, he tends to only help his host when it’s the most tactically advantageous for him, and will pry at his host’s most sensitive memories to try to gain control over the body. If he is on good terms with his host, however, he will put all of his attention toward addressing the situation at hand. He bears surprisingly little ill will for his hosts, aside from generally wanting to be free. The Gyuki is capable of using Raiton techniques as well.

D e m o n S t a g e s:
___Cloak of the Demon Version One
The chakra cloak comes out over the host's body as it's chakra flows more freely thoughout, formking a murky black form around it's body. The host will feel invigorated as it gains strength from the host, and the crown of the demon's head will produce to curved horns like an Ox as well. The cloak extends over the weapons of the host, quite like his little brother Son Goku as well. Up to four tails can be present in this stage.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme strength increase.
  • The host's taijutsu and bukijutsu can be empowered by demonic chakra, resulting in them having a five foot bonus to the range they can affect. If the host swings a blade and nearmisses, the force of the weapon will still harm the enemy. Likewise, an axe kick can cause a shockwave to burst out on impact with the ground for example. The demon must pay the same cost of the technique for this to take effect.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme Speed increase.
  • Tai and Buki attacks overwhelm same rank Tai and Buki if the demon pays an additional cost to produce them.
  • The host can, once per post, expel ink from it's mouth as a defense against up to C rank attacks, which takes up a single activation and appropriate chakra cost.

___Partial Transformation
The host will continue to draw out the Hachibi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The bones and muscles on the host pump out, as well as even the chakra cloak gaining muscular definition. The forearms also gain a small growth that is remnant of the ones on the demon. Two more tails can also be produced at this point. Two small protrusions begin to make themselves visible on the sides of the head as well.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme strength increase.
  • Instead of 5 feet, now the bonus shockwave range from tai and buki attacks reaches to ten feet.
  • Raiton techniques can overwhelm the same rank techniques so long as the demon pays for an additional half of the chakra cost of the technique.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme Speed Increase
  • Moderate Fortitude increase.
  • Following the use of a raiton technique the host remains electrically charged, giving their next tai or buki attack extra damage Equal the rank of the technique. Lasts until an attack is used, which consumes the buff. Considered a spiritual technique where defense is concerned, and will break through chakra based barriers without stopping the actual tai or bukijutsu attack.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
The host bulks up significantly more, skin tearing visibly before the chakra cloak takes over their body, giving them a jet black layer of second skin that glows in a murky sort of light. The shape of the host becomes like that of an ox, causing them to hunch over slightly. The tails produced by the host, too, increase in number: they can be anywhere from six to the full 8. A skeleton also can be produced from the host's body, with a long spinal cord and four limbs, as well as the skull of an ox like a helmet over the host's head. Flanking the sides of his head are also a pair of ox horns are present, shooting out of the side of the skull-helmet too. Were once were human eyes are now large white circles, as well as that being the only visible thing inside of the host's mouth.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme Strength Increase
  • The bonus range to tai and buki attacks increases further to 15 feet.
  • Gains an extra activation.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme speed increase.
  • Moderate Fortitude increase.
  • Raiton attacks can be increased by one rank in power so long as the demon pays the cost of the technique as well as the host, increasing their power by a rank.
  • Demon enhanced taijutsu and bukijutsu treat a struck target's fortitude as if it were moderately lower, and treats heavy armor as if it were medium, medium armor as if it were light, and ignores light armor. Layered armor however is simply treated as though it is the highest rank of armor, ignoring the rest.

___Miniature Demon Stage [4]
Unlike most demons, this stage on the Hachibi turns the host into an upright Ox with several octopus tails behind it's back and poseable thumbs. Their skin becomes the same color as the Gyuki's, including an elongated snout and large flat teeth. In those ways, the host truly is a miniature version of the Ushi-Oni.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme Strength increase.
  • Effect range for tai and buki techniques now increased to 20 feet.
  • If the first action in a post is a taijutsu or bukijutsu attack, it does not consume an activation.
  • Tai and Bukijutsu that strike a target ignore a supreme amount of fortitude from the target.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme Speed Increase.
  • Supreme Fortitude boost.
  • The host takes half damage from raiton attacks.
  • The host becomes able to regenerate up to a missing limb every two posts.

    Description: Creates a blinding burst of Chakra and propels the user very quickly in any direction they want to travel. Does not require a foothold to be used. Can only be used once every two posts.

    Description: The user creates a small ball of demonic Chakra and detonates it. The ball explodes, but does not cause any physical damage; instead, it coats the area in a thick cloud of inky darkness that remains for four posts.     Description: The user gathers a large amount of Chakra around their own body, making an opaque orb of Chakra around the user. The orb pushes away all structures and physical Jutsu under A-Rank during this time.

    Description: A small version of the Hachibi’s Bijuu Ball. The Hachibi forms a small, concentrated ball of energy at the tip of the horns and then releases a small, directed explosive blast capable of severely damaging the area.

    Bijuu Hachimaki [ Tailed Beast Eight Twists ]
    Rank: S
    Description: Gyuuki coils his tails around himself before extending them with an enormous amount of physical strength. This causes him to spin rapidly, resulting in the generation of tremendous gusts of wind that buffet everything in the surrounding area. This technique is powerful enough to level the terrain within a large range of the Eight-Tails. Requires Gyuki be manifested fully.

    Meian [ Light and Darkness ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The Hachibi concentrates a large amount of light and dark Chakra in to a ball and unleashes it in a directional blast. A fully charged version of thiscan fill an entire valley with the explosion as well as plow through a multiple layered barrier. Requires at least two S ranks to stop.

D e s c r i p t i o n:
___In the anime series this demon has been shown through the character Naruto. The demon's body is that of an enormous, nine-tailed fox covered in orange fur. In addition to its nine tails, the Kyuubi has sharp teeth and claws that it uses to damage and grip opponents. This demon is in tune with the emotions of creatures and uses that ability to control its hosts, locating and dragging out every negative emotion the host has ever felt. The only hosts to survive interacting with him for very long are ones who have great control over themselves, and of course a very powerful seal. The demon’s considerable Chakra marks the host by giving him or her whisker-like shadows on the cheeks, but as long as it is properly sealed away, the Kyuubi will not alter the host’s personality.
___Kurama is frequently thought to have an infinite amount of Chakra, though in reality he only has the ability to replenish his chakra much faster than the other bijuu. This makes him perfect for sharing his Chakra with other people because of his more effective chakra control. The Kyuubi is by far the most violently active demon in hosts who have not befriended him: he will pounce on any and every chance to break free from his host, even going so far as to try to escape whenever the host draws on his Chakra. For this reason, it is wise to use two seals to contain him, even if this serves only to further enrage him.

D e m o n S t a g e s:

___Cloak of the Demon Version One
This is the first usage of the Kyuubi's Chakra. In addition to making use of the demon's Chakra, which creates a cloak in the shape of an anthropophicthe host will also gain certain characteristics, such as: darkening of the whisker marks, sharpening of the nails and of course elongating of the fangs. Up to three tails can be produced in this stage.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme Strength and Speed Boost.
  • Host regenerates minor wounds such as scrapes, bruises and shallow cuts within two posts of taking the hit. This drains 10 chakra per post from the Kyuubi's stores.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Supreme Fortitude and Reflex Boost
  • The host can donate up to a C rank amount of chakra or stamina to their allies once every three posts that this chakra cloak is active, which comes from the demon's stores and surrounds the targets in a purely asthetic chakra cloak. Must make contact to donate chakra, and takes up an activation.
  • User's formless attacks are treated as complex while the cloak is active, and also overwhelm same rank techniques.

___Partial Transformation Stage
The host will continue to draw out the Kyuubi's Chakra, taking on more of its traits and getting more of its powers. The host's body becomes more lithe while also toned. Their teeth become even more sharp, as do their claws, and the feral edge takes root in their eyes. Two more chakra tails can be manifested in this stage. The host begins to actively harm themselves at this stage as well.
_Basic Effects:
  • Now heals the minor wounds of the first demon stage in one post, and heals moderate wounds, such as fractures, organ damage and deep cuts in two posts instead. Drains 25 chakra from the Kyuubi per post it is actively healing.
  • Speed and Strength increased supremely.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Can donate up to B rank chakra or stamina once every three posts now to allies.
  • Gains an extra activation.
  • The host can fire off pure chakra attacks in the form of beams once per post that overwhelm everything, including sage techniques, at the cost of two activations. This passive takes some time to charge even though it fires in the post it was activated. This gives targets time to erect adequate defenses. The beam is between A and S rank in strength, and has a two post cooldown.

___Cloak of the Demon Version Two
With tails 5-6 appearing, the demon takes on perhaps the most iconic version two cloak with the skin of the host being burned away in favor of a layer of bloodred chakra skin over it's body and tails. The host's only recognizeable features become their hair which manages to stay visible even if it is also covered in chakra. Their eyes become red circles, as does the space in their open mouths. Two long ears push up from the host's head as well, flanking either side.
_Basic Effects:
  • Supreme Strength and Speed increase.
  • The host's major wounds can be healed in two posts. This means missing limbs, majorly damaged organs, and broken bones can all be undone. This drains 50 chakra from the Kyuubi. Minor wounds are instantly healed at no cost, and moderate wounds only take one post to heal up.
  • Ninjutsu techniques used while in this cloak overwhelm same rank techniques, so long as Kurama pays for an additional half of the techniques cost.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Fortitude and Reflexes are increased supremely.
  • The host can now share up to an A rank amount of chakra or stamina. Also, the chakra can be given to up to three targets at once now.
  • Kurama can pay a ninjutsu technique cost alongside the host in order to boost its rank by one.
  • Gains an activation.

___Miniature Demon Stage
The Miniature demon stage for the kyuubi isn't like the others. This is where the Kyuubi's skeletal structure comes up from the chakra skin, attaching a skull to his head like a helmet, with arms and legs made of bone and a spinal cord also come forward. The demon can also produce musculature that you would expect to see from a fox as well, all as another two tails produce themselves from the demon as well.
_Basic Effects:
  • Strength and Speed Supremely increased.
  • Major regeneration now only takes one post to occur, but drains 100 chakra from the kyuubi.
  • The host now only spends one activation on it's chakra beam attack.
_Advanced Effects:
  • Fortitude and Reflex supremely increased.
  • The first Ninjutsu technique to hit deals a rank less damage to the host, so long as it is at least A rank in strength. Lower ranked ninjustu deal no damage whatsoever. This passive has a three post cooldown.

___Demon Power Stage [5]
Basic: The host gives full control of their body to the Kyuubi. During this stage, the demon itself will emerge in full form with all nine tails formed, although it is still directly tied to the host. For a short amount of time, Kurama will be free to use its power in order to fight for the host, and by association itself. Once this window of time has closed, the host will have to regain control of the demon no matter what. If they decide not to or fail to do so, the Kyuubi will retain its full form, and the host will never be able to regain consciousness or their body- essentially dead.
Advanced: The host, having survived giving up their body to the Kyuubi, has dealt with incredible amounts demonic Chakra. During this stage, the host will attempt to tap into Kurama's power without giving up their own body. Through collaboration with the demon, the two have come up with a way to keep one another alive. The host’s skin glows a bright yellow; however, rather than taking on Kurama’s form, the host retains their own figure. By rejecting the Kyuubi’s shape, the host will be able to fight with a much more comfortable range of movement, while still obtaining the benefits of Kurama's Chakra, strength, and stamina. Chakra rises from the host’s body like flames.
_Basic Effects:
  • Kurama takes over the host's body, causing it to fully materialize.
  • Roleplayer acts as Kurama, not discriminating between friend and foe unless this stage has been mastered.
_Advanced Effects:
  • The host can now give out an S ranked amount of chakra or stamina to as many ninja as he can reach in a single post for one activation.
  • Donating chakra to allies increases a single stat of their choice supremely for two posts. It also allows their techniques to overwhelm same rank attacks.

    Ichigeki no Jutsu [ Poke Technique ]
    Rank: D
    Description: A Chakra-enforced finger strike that is powerful enough to topple a foe with ease and can cause disorientation. Can also be done with a chakra tail.

    Hayai Yakushin [ Quick Rush ]
    Rank: D
    Description: By sending Chakra through the legs, the user gains the ability to rush at very high speeds, even on walls. The force of the run is enough to crack the surface underneath the user. Lasts two posts, increasing reflex and strength moderately.

    Chakura Funpatsu [ Strenuous Chakra Exertion ]
    Rank: C
    Description: The user sends Chakra in all directions outward from the body, creating tremendous pressure that pushes away both physical objects and Chakra forms under B-Rank. Consumes all the activations for a post and activates immediately. Those caught in the blast are denied all descriptive increases and are affected regardless of armor techniques.

    Akuma no Tsume [ Demon’s Claw ]
    Rank: C
    Description: Temporarily solidifies the demonic Chakra on the user’s hands, granting a set of sharp claws for four posts. The claws turn all formless and taijutsu attacks spiritual if they weren't before.

    Akuma no Doku [ Demon’s Poison ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Turns a portion of the demon’s Chakra in to a black mist that it spits. On contact with anything, it spreads through the area. This mist eats away at the health of those who inhale it and has the ability to deteriorate organic material. Mist covers an area 10 meters in diameter and lasts for four posts. Staying in the mist for longer than three total posts will deal enough damage to render someone unconscious.

    Chakura no Furyouka [ Downfall of Chakra ]
    Rank: B
    Description: Turns a portion of the demon’s Chakra into a red mist that spreads through the area. The mist poisons the Chakra supply of those who come in to contact with it, causing a fever and making those affected not be able to activate Ninjutsu or Genjutsu at full strength, even if they expel the Chakra to do so. Reduces the rank of nin and genjutsu by one. All effects disappear upon exiting the mist. Lasts four posts.

    Juuzen no Jutsu [ Absolute Safety Technique ]
    Rank: A
    Description: Reinforces the user’s body with demonic Chakra, granting the user the ability to escape from movement-sealing techniques up to S-Rank. Lasts for four posts.

    Nikushimi [ Hatred ]
    Rank: A
    Description: The demon sends out a wave of Chakra, planting a specific feeling determined by the Kyuubi—typically hatred—in all those affected by the Chakra. The technique is powerful enough that it can foster permanent feelings if not quickly dispersed with Kai. This technique can only be used in this stage of activation. After mastery of Stage 5, the host will have some input as to which feelings are planted.

    Kitsune Okibi [ Blazing Fox Fire ]
    Rank: A
    Description: The demon stomps the ground, sending out a short wave of Chakra as it does so. The Chakra only travels about 10 meters, but those hit by it are coated in it. The Chakra moves and dances like fire, thus the name, and degrades the mental status of those affected, causing Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Bukijutsu to misfire in a random direction. Hallucinations are common. The Chakra can be removed with a Kai or with a heavy dousing of water. Mental stability returns after five posts of out-of-battle recovery.

    Chiisai Kaimetsu [ Small Annihilation ]
    Rank: S
    Description: A small version of the Kyuubi’s Bijuu Ball. This version of the Bijuu Ball is typically regarded as being roughly the same in strength as the other Bijuu’s regular Bijuu Ball techniques, with the exception of the Hachibi’s. The explosion is powerful enough to blow through the heavy defensive structure known as the Rashoumon gate and can blow away small villages.

    Ryuuseiu [ Meteor Shower ]
    Rank: S
    Description: The demon condenses demonic Chakra into physical shapes in the stomach, then launches them out of the mouth at high speeds. The Chakra burns up as it flies and impacts with the power of a meteor, hence the name of the technique. Launches 4-6 objects.

    Kanjou Kenshutsu [ Emotion Sensor ]
    Rank: S
    Description: After activation, the user can sense positive and negative emotions within a 5 kilometer radius. However, the user can only clearly sense emotions that are within 20 meters. Stays passive for twenty posts.

    Chakura Ougonjutsu [ Chakra Alchemy ]
    Rank: S
    Description: Turns all released elemental Chakra (such as wood, ice, fire, etc.) into actual physical manifestations of that element. This technique has been shown to revert Mokuton to simply being trees, and affects all techniques used within a 3 meter radius of the user. After activation, this technique stays passive for two posts. Can only be used twice per battle.

    Zettai Kaimetsu [ Absolute Annihilation ]
    Rank: S+
    Description: The Kyuubi’s version of the Bijuu Ball. The Kyuubi’s Bijuu Ball creates a blast that is capable of annihilating a small mountain range, though it requires two of the demon’s posts to Charge, during which time the demon is immobilized and cannot use other techniques without cancelling this one first.
