I have found some information regarding the FMA movies. Can someone tell me these statements are true?
1. COS is coming Fall 2006, most likely September
2. Funimation is releasing COS on theaters.
3. there is a second FMA movie, which is not released in Japan yet.

WAIT!!! i was talking to Caitlin Glass... ((yes, i was)))
the movie... and last dvd are coming OCT 3rd~! anniversary of Ed/Al's house-burning thing. the last dvd comes out that day... and the movie hits major THEATERS! (lowes, etc.. *however you spell it*) ON OCTOBER THIRD!!!!

I saw a trailer saying Funimation was releasing some DBZ movies to theaters....
Omgz.
They better release Shambala in theaters. I'll sit in the front row and weep so loudly people will throw popcorn at my head.
My local movie theater will be self-funded by me buying so many tickets to see it. XD

I've heard that yes, it is coming in that fall, but [as] will air it. I hope it hits theaters. Then I'll self-fund my local theater too! And get lots of free popcorn from angry patrons.
EDIT: Our movie theaters my go out of buisness, I just read in Newtype USA that the movie is coming to DVD in October. No theaters. It didn't say whether [as] planned on airing it first or not. It will also come out the same time the 13th (last?) DVD comes out. That would be a really good number to end on, seeing as it's unlucky and all, and our favorite Chibi Alchemist with a Serious Anger Problem is unlucky too.

Alright, I found another anime magazine to cite! Anime Insider says:
"FUNimation is releasing the movie on DVD on October 3, but the coolist news is, although Funimation gave an offical "no comment" on the prospect of catching Shamballa in U.S. thearters in the near future, the company is more than aware of the movie potential of (extreme) success."
