Solaria roared at Vaek, wanting his help. She looked really scared as she was put into a cage. The men took out weapons, as the leader said "Nothing you need to concern yourself with." After stopping his men as he held the cage. Solaria looked at Vaek, with tears in her eyes knowing her mama was already gone. She didn't have anyone anymore that could protect her. Plus without a human form, it would be hard for her to hide out among the humans.

The men still didn't back down as they started to surround Vaek not afraid as long as they got their quarry. Once the fight was over, Solaria was wrapped in her wings shaking like a leaf, and crying. She whimpered as the gunshots stopped and peeked out feeling she was being lifted out of her cage and into someone's arms. There was something about Vaek that she trusted. She couldn't explain it though. Her wings then unfolded from their cocoon like state before she looked at Vaek burying her face in his neck crying softly as he held her.

Solaria had fallen asleep on their way towards the inn. She had her tail curled around Vaek's arm as all dragonborns like her did their parents arms. It was for security reasons, nothing more. It was a light hold on his arm and her scales were a bit soft to the touch. Plus her skin was cooler than a normal dragon's, meaning she was some sort of dragon that lived in cooler mountainous areas. As she slept, she started shaking from a nightmare she was having. "Mama!" She said telepathically, before she calmed down seeing where she was and remembering what happened. She was stolen from her mother a few days ago. All she remembered was one moment she was listening to her mother's voice, then the next moment they were running away from the black market people before her mother was killed. With her last breath, her mother saved her life by telling her to run and not look back no matter what she heard. The memory of that day just seemed to flow back to her. "Ma...ma....." She said in a shaky voice as she sat there not seeing the man from earlier.

Solaria cried until she couldn't anymore. she was shaking from fear but could sense that Vaek was friendly enough to not hurt her. She looked at him with Tear filled eyes and a small sniffle not sure what she was going to do without her mother and the only family she had. As she was in Vaek's arms, she said "Papa?" As she looked at him, not knowing what else to do. Solaria had never known the love of a father since her own father was killed by the black market people as well as her mother. Being a Moon dragon, she was thought to be extinct so no one had seen one for over 300 years. The upside down crescent moon on her chest was a well known marking of her kind of dragon but they were usually not in that way of shape. Usually they were either left or right facing. However, Solaria's was upside down, showing that she was really rare.

Solaria buried her face in Vaek's chest as she lay beside her new papa curled up in a tight ball. After a while, she had stopped crying and was playing around with a dust ball she found underneath the bed, laughing a little as she did. She was being as quiet as she could, seeing that it was early the next morning and no one else was up yet. Though, she'd have to eat some time soon, and that would mean waking Vaek up. She didn't want to but when her tummy growled, she looked at him cutely, one of her claws in her mouth as she sat there looking at him. She then went over to the bed, and was trying to climb up onto it, so she could wake up her new papa so they could get some breakfast.

Solaria roared a bit saying "it morning papa." before she got off of him and snuggled against his side, making a small purring noise as she did. Her species was a lot like a cat in many ways. The only differences were she had scales instead of fur, she roared instead of meowed, and she breathed fire whereas cats normally do not. Plus she was attracted to shiny things which they would find out later.

Solaria nuzzled Vaek's hand sweetly as he pet her gently. When he asked if she was hungry, her tail started wagging almost like a puppy's would when it was being fed by its owner. She was going to be daddy's little princess, that much was obvious, but without a human form, she wondered if he would consider her his daughter, or more of a pet.
