On a whim, I did a search for guilds with "cheese" in the name, and found out that there are maybe 5-6, including us.
However, after further investigation of posts, memberlists and home pages, it appears we are indeed the best for several reasons.
1. Cleanliness and organization of forums, homepage and memberlist.
2. Overall quality of membership (78 does seem a little low, but that's ok)
3. Quality of posts. Yep, it's nice to have a guild where the average user has better than decent typing and grammar skills.
4. Obviously we have more posts than all the rest of the cheese related guilds combined. Yet we did it without truly spamming.
5. I also found that there was no cross-membership between this guild and any other of the guilds I came across. (It's possible there may an alt account or two mixed up, but I don't think it's very likely.)
So there you go. Looks like we're the Big Cheese. Although there's been some tense moments, I must say this guild is one of the finest i've come across on gaia this whole time.
A big thanks to all the dedicated members since the guild's founding last year, and even those who were around before this "guild" (forum) was established.
