Hi friends! It's Patrice! heart
Long, long, long time no see! We all disappeared off the face of the internet!
However, I wanted to say hi!!
I never answered questions about what I was doing back in college in 2008. I studied American Sign Language/ Deaf Studies and Sign Language Interpreting.
I graduated in 2012 and then got my Master's Degree in Sign Language interpreting in 2014. I currently am in Washington, DC with my fiancé and we have two adorable black kitties that we rescued in 2017.
I work as a certified sign language interpreter but am in the process of setting up my own business.
IF anyone sees this, what are you up to? How is life treating you? I hope you are well heart

Hi Pato!
It's Maddy here, I know this thread is almost a year old.
I bought my own place 5 years ago and kicking goals with my mortgage. I should be able to finish paying it off this year.
I am a Contracts Delivery Specialist with Underground Power Projects even though my Bachelor degree is a double major in Marketing and Advertising which isn't being put to use.
Is your new business related to sign language or something else? Understand that am not sure if you're still floating around on GaiaOnline considering I've only made a recent return to celebrate my thread's 15 birthday a week or two ago.
