Kruen
Name: Shiori Hayashi
Alias: Lupea
Alignment: student at the Xavier Institute
Age/DOB: 18/September 21st
Gender: Female
Height: 153.04cm (5' 0.25")
Weight: 48.97kg (107.96 lbs)
Occupation: Student
Education: High school Junior/Senior
Nationality: Japanese
Ethnicity: Japanese

Physical Traits: (Picture) Shiori is a small, curved, and lithe figure of short stature. Her body is proportioned adequately given her height, with only small amounts of fat cover her body, and her muscles are well-toned though not strongly visible unless she is working out. Thick, rich sable hair drapes down nearly to the base of her spine. Long and straight, her hair appears more black than brown in most lighting.

Since birth, Shiori has had physical characteristics of a humanoid wolf. A fine coat of tan fur covers nearly every inch of her body which varies in thickness and length, though most areas are covered in moderately thick fur. From the base of her spine extends a fluffy brown tail. The nails on both her feet and hands are longer and sharper to the point where they could almost be considered claws. Her amber eyes have no distinct pupils, and are only visible in certain lighting, most commonly in bright surroundings where the extra light reflects in her eyes and turns them a shining orange, or when a flashlight is shone in her face. When visible, their shape is elongated to the edge of her irises, mostly slit-like, coming to a point much like a cat's eye and giving her a stronger animalistic intensity. Shiori has characteristically wolven ears on either side of her head that can poise in a limited number of angles, and are often an easy way to discern her emotional state.

Through gift of her mutant abilities, Shiori can neutralize her physical mutation, essentially becoming a human. In this form, her build is very much the same, now with tail and fur gone, leaving behind light tan skin. Her claws and teeth are also retracted to normal lengths, and her eyes are no longer a brilliant orange, but cool, light brown in color.

Outfit: Shiori prefers to wear loose clothing over her body, mainly sticking with wide jeans/pants, and some sort of t-shirt. Muted colors are what can be found in her wardrobe with very few bright colors, especially pink. As cold has little affect on her, she wears little more than long-sleeved shirts for warmth in the winter.

Uniform: None.

Known Mutations: Shiori is aware that her hearing, sight, and sense of smell are more advanced than a human's, and that her claws can inflict minor damage to another person if she is not careful. She has never really thought about her feralism as a mutation, but is aware of its existence. She knows how to switch between her furry and human forms, and has observed that she gets sick easier while human. She has no knowledge of why or how any of her abilities function, nor what her true mutations are.

Mutations: (Highly abridged. PM for full description.) Shiori is a feral, which might explain her beast-like physical appearance. With slightly heightened senses of scent, hearing, and sight, her healing factor is not all that strong. While she rarely gets sick or has yet to break any of her bones, Shiori's healing speed is only one-third faster than that of a normal human. Meaning, a wound that would heal in 3 months would take only two months for her.

In some sense, one could view her immunity to foreign mutations as a sort of off-shoot of her feralism, as many ferals grow immune to drug agents and the like. In the same way, Shiori grows immune to the mutations of others through repeated exposures (3 'hits' or 2 minutes of prolonged exposure). She has thousands of mutated macrophages (a type of white blood cell that 'eats' foreign bodies) in her skin, of which their sole purpose is to combat against another mutant's powers. It is these macrophages that build a defense against a specific mutant's abilities, and they are constantly relaying their information to each other. These macrophages are like any other bodily component, and act without the conscious will of Shiori.

However, Shiori can turn this ability on herself through concentration and by releasing certain hormones through her systems. By doing this, her macrophages turn on themselves and negate her mutated cells. Unlike when combating foreign cells, because the macrophages recognize what they are attack are domestic, they do not destroy the cells, but prevent them from being active. This causes Shiori's physical mutations to recede into her skin to the point of where she has the appearance of a normal human. Also, because her macrophages are focused on her cells, they can no longer defend against invading mutations, thus she will then be susceptible to any mutant attack for as long as she is in this state.

Shiori reverts back into her feralistic form by sending out another wave of hormones that affect the macrophages. They are told to eat one another, and once they do, her physical mutations resurface. Also, because all the macrophages containing the information concerning the immunities to other mutants have been destroyed, the new macrophages her body creates do not carry any immunities to anyone's mutations, and she must be re-exposed to the powers in order for her to be immune to them again.

While her body can combat against elemental and mental mutation, physical mutations are not something her immune system can ward off. If for whatever reason Warren were to smack Shiori with his wings a few times, she would not become immune to his wings, nor will his wings disappear because of physical contact. Physical attributes are a characteristic of that person, and aren't trying to force a change on Shiori like mental and elemental powers do. Pyro's flames are something Shiori cannot build a resistance to either since he does not actually create the fire, only manipulates it.

Skills: Running around the sloped forested area surrounding her home all of her life has given Shiori good balancing. She is quite agile and speedy on her feet when she needs to be, as has little difficulty jumping up to low-hanging tree branches. Her intelligence is one of her strongest points, able to grasp most concepts to a large degree, though it is not something she often utilizes constructively. Her memory is a bit quirky too. While she can tell you tons of random information pertaining to her various interests, she often cannot tell you what she had eaten for dinner the previous night, reiterate information she had been told less than five minutes ago, or even tell you the day of the week (unless she has some schedule to keep her in check).

Shiori is fluent in understanding verbal English, but has trouble speaking it herself. While in essence her speaking vocabulary is pretty much understandable, she is still rather new to the language so her verb usage is occasionally a little off. She also gets confused between words that seem like they ought to act the same but do not (very vs. much, etc). Her sentences can be complex in length, but her word choice is usually fairly simple. She retains a heavy accent when she speaks, often distorting her words and making her hard to understand.

Shiori knows instinctively how fight (in feral terms, anyway), though lacks arm strength to be very effective, and is best suited to guerrilla tactics and defensive positions. This fighting ability is actually not something she can easily access unless her feral side is roused in some fashion.

Family: Hayashi Keiko was her mother, but she died when Shiori was very young. Her older brother Keisuke (age 21) attends the local university back in Japan. Her father was non-existent in her childhood, and remains so today. Shiori's aunt (Reika - age 49) took care of her in her youth and remains in Japan with her brother. She has a few other relatives floating around that she has never met.

Personality: Having been sheltered most of her life due to her appearance, Shiori is seen as a boisterous ball of inquisitry, seeking to learn all that she can from any source of information she previously had no access to. To the public (human) eye she is a cheerful young adult still curious as a little child. In reality Shiori is pretty shy and somewhat introverted, always seen but hardly ever heard. More of an observer, she is usually off to the side of discussions, listening to the gossip rather than interacting. She actually enjoys this more than speaking herself. The only time where she has an interest in speaking is if the subject at hand is important to her, where then she can become quite vocal in her opinions.

Soft spoken and modest, Shiori can easily be manipulated. She naturally has the habit of trusting and believing what people say. The concept of sarcasm is not unknown to her, but difficult to interpret and notice, so she takes things literally and is very gullible. She is also sensitive to criticism, and the slightest disapproving comment or unexpected response can make her feel uneasy, possibly weakening her self-esteem for a few hours to a couple of days.

Shiori is very unaggressive, subservient even, until she is threatened, harassed, or even questioned multiple times about something trivial, where then she is quick on a defensive, her feral mentality taking up greater dominance in her behavior. For the most part, Shiori is very persistent in doing things on her own and usually has a hard time asking for help on difficult tasks, even if she really needs it. She is also a grudge-holder.

Shiori's feral side, while always present, usually has no great control over her actions unless she is extremely provoked. Under the full influence of her feral mind (usually brought on by intense anger, accompanied by stress factors), she has only a vague sense of distinguishing friend from foe, and she has no problem in hurting anyone (possibly to the point of death) that does not have a great influence over her. Her senses are also immensely heightened even greater than normal, including a slight increase in regeneration, and her physical appearance takes on a more predatorial stature, mainly moving around on all fours. The strengthened claws and fangs that accompany her temporary bloodlust have little resistance in shredding human flesh. The most notable physical difference about her in this state would be her eyes, the irises of which are greatly enlarged and the dark, inhumanly almond-shaped pupils clearly visible. Shiori will only have a vague recollection of anything that happens to her during this time, and usually the fragmented memories will come to her in dreams.

Interests: Unable to interact with others her age most of her life, Shiori has grown attached to amusements for individuals. This includes watching the television, though mainly Anime. She collects various products made for those series, ranging from anything to a pencil sharpener to a giant stuffed pillow/animal. Viewing fan works of the different series (fanart, fanfiction, cosplay, etc) is also a loved pastime, as well as creating her own fan works for them.

She also loves to draw. She has the innate talent for it, but not enough motivation to develop it into anything too complex. She mainly sticks to scribbling, most commonly characters from the Anime she watches, and has from time to time had a spur-of-the-moment drive to go beyond her normal 'parameters' and include a detailed background scene complete with color. Normally she just draws figures and colors them, with any backgrounds simple and abstract.

Her outdoor interests are quite limited, but mainly she just likes the peaceful ambiance nature has, and would be content to just sit outside for a few hours just thinking and relaxing. The few activates she does partake in include running and jogging, and soccer, though she is not all that skilled at the game (basically she just enjoyed chasing the ball around). Shiori is also a computer (instant messenger) addict, having been instantly attached to the programs that allow her to talk with people all across the globe.

History: Secluded and hidden all of her life, Shiori was born one month prematurely to the Hayashi family in Takaoka. The second largest city in the Toyama Prefecture, Takaoka is home to Mt. Futagami. The base and lower portion of the mountain is covered entirely by trees, and is where the Hayashi household rests, elevated on Futagami's side to give the family a long, scenic view of the city below. The large house has been kept in the family for a few generations, as well as the large plot of land encircling it.

Despite her strange characteristics (and most possibly due to Keiko's persistence), Shiori's family decided to treat their newest edition as if she were any other normal child. While life was calm for the family, it was not without its ups and downs. At six months into the pregnancy Keiko had showed mild signs of pregnancy-induced hypertension. Her elevated blood pressure had been potentially dangerous, but not detrimental to her or Shiori, so her blood pressure had only been monitored. After Shiori was born, Keiko's blood pressure continued to be higher than it should have been, which lead to various health problems. Over time, these conditions worsened until eventually she died when Shiori was a little over two years old. Reika took care of Shiori and Keisuke from then on, raising them how Keiko would've with the help of their grandmother.

Shiori lived a quiet life away from the citizens of Takaoka, and was home-schooled by her aunt and grandmother under the pretense that she was a weak child, unable to interact with other children or exert herself too much outdoors, lest her physical 'ailments' act up. Since the curriculum was suited to her needs, Shiori was able to advance more quickly than publicly schooled children and take her time with studies she had difficulty with. She also had more liberties when it came to extracurricular activities, favoring drawing over all others.

Turning twelve for Shiori was the mark of her mutant powers fully manifesting, although she did not know this at the time. She was aware, though, that her senses had strengthened considerably to where she could pick up certain scents or noises from the nearby streets, and that she had better vision at night.

When her courses for middle school were completed, her family was not granted the privilege to borrow texts for high school curriculum. The education board felt that if Shiori was 'healthy' enough to study hard for the last nine years, she was healthy enough to attend a public high school, if being she passed the entrance exam. This was fine with Shiori, as she felt there was no great use for any of the knowledge since she would most likely have to live in the shadow of her family for the duration of her life. Reika did, however, manage to get Shiori to study from Keisuke's old materials, albeit not in a very thorough fashion.

It was during the Sakura viewing in the spring a year later when Shiori stumbled over her hardly noticeable powers after she was able to dissolve her fur from her body. A bit stunned at first, she ended up touring out with Keisuke, literally stepping out into the city she lived in for the first time in her life. Of course the poor girl had horrible balance without her tail, toppling over at ever subtle change in motion. The day had gone smoothly enough at least, Keisuke's friends being surprised to see the overexcited sister that they thought was never allowed to leave the family estate.

Now able to mingle with the crowds of her city, Shiori felt like she had stepped into another life. Every day was a new and exciting adventure as she and Reika toured Takaoka together. Slowly the furless girl learned her way around the city, and before long was able to walk on her own to different locations without getting lost. For a while she thought the change as a human was permanent, and on some levels hoped it was so, but one night when she had felt the need to be engulfed in nature the fur and claws returned.

With the coming of April, Shiori desired to try and enter the local high school and be around other teenagers. She was accepted easily, and the next few weeks she began her first day at a public institution. Enthusiastic but shy, and a year older than everyone else, Shiori became part of the crowd, not the most popular kid in class, but not the geek either. She fell into the middle grouping of students, becoming a friend to many, but mainly just another classmate.

During her second year in high school, Keisuke joined a Studies Abroad program and was taking courses in America. There he learned about the Xavier Institute and the facilities it had for the benefit of all mutants who wished to enroll there. Sending word to his family, he thought that maybe Shiori would be interested in being around others who had strange characteristics about themselves.

Recently she has taken residence at the Institute and is still getting used the new environment and the people there.

ZekeD
Name: Lucas Jaeger
Nicknames: Luke
Alias: NA
Alignment: X-Men
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 153 lbs.
Occupation: College Student
Education: College Junior
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: European descent

Physical Traits: Due to his love of outdoor life, he is quite athletically built, through both training and being a generally physical person. He isn't the body-builder type, but you can easily see his muscles and the definition of them, and he has quite a sexy six-pack. He is quite tall, roughly 5 foot 9 inches, and his body is fairly symmetric. He has short, dirty blonde hair that more or less does that it wants to, whisking out in any direction it pleases. His eyes are a pale green that gives of a hollow, wistful gaze. Though he rarely smiles or talks much, when he does you can see the short fangs that protrude inside his mouth. For the most part his lips are curved in a low, calm smile that could almost be characterized as a smirk.

Outfit: Luke's taste in clothing varies depending on whatever goes with his mood or the situation. He favors tight shirts, a good pair of semi-worn jeans, and hiking boots or sneakers, but he does have a pair of leather pants that he brings out from time to time. For lounging, he prefers socks and a t-shirt.

Uniform: None.

Mutations: Luke is a feral, though the only sense that has been heightened to a large degree is his sense of smell. His other senses are only marginally better than normal. Like many ferals he grows immune to nearly all drug agents after a few doses. However, he has zero abilities with enhanced regenerablity, nor has any amount of mutant-enhanced strength.

His real mutation would be considered as a sixth sense sort of thing. It has nothing with the ability to sense ghosts or the supernatural, but instead is based around the ability to sense immediate dangers within a three-mile radius. When he senses a danger nearby, Luke feels a weird buzzing/tingling feeling running throughout his body, mainly concentrated in his hands. Depending on how close he is to the danger, and how significant it is, he feels this affect stronger. However, while he may know of danger that is taking place, it's not like he knows exactly what it is, or that he has the ability to stop, prevent, or deal with it. He would need to search around and find the source of the problem in order to help the situation.

Skills: Physical training has made him very fluid and agile for his age. He doesn't really use power when fighting, but he is continually moving and flowing and thus, his moves are very effective. Though, he still fairly strong due to his experiences outside and his enjoyment of physical activities.

Personality: Luke is a very relaxed guy. His motto could easily be described as, "Go with the flow until the flow sucks, then switch streams." He's the sort of person who makes plans to do things by himself, not initiating anything with other people. He's neither the initiator nor instigator. So, given the option he'd go do something, but if it isn't put on the table for him he is just as happy to go be by himself.

Due to his feralism, he can be rather affectionate, though he reserves this side of him to those he is close to. Open-minded for the most part, Luke will listen to each side of an argument to get an understanding of why they feel they way they do, but usually he will stick with his previous beliefs.

Not much really gets under his skin, and rarely is he embarrassed. Most things that occur just go by with him in tow, he rarely makes it a point to actively participate or change the situation. He knows his own limitations, his own skills, and is confident in his abilities to do what is needed to be done, though he is very modest about it, not being the one to brag.

When with those he is close to, he is a lot more lighthearted and joyful than normal, he will occasionally joke and tease them, quite the opposite of his usual quiet nature with others.

His feelings towards humans are more middle-of-the-road. He knows that many of them don't feel comfortable around humans, merely because they are something strange a new. He firmly believes that peace will come between humans and mutants, and until they mutants should just continue living normal lives, and not try to provoke the humans.

He's more athletic-oriented than intellectual, but he's not dumb. He doesn't find current events too interesting, but will keep tabs on them just for reference. As he's more physically-oriented, Luke is not the most computer-savvy person. He has a laptop, and mainly uses it for writing papers and email, and downloading of the occasional song or two. While he is very laid-back, he knows when to take a stand and do what is needed of him.

Always open to new things, he'll try pretty much anything once or twice. He enjoys physical activities more than mental exercises, but he is no dumby. He is a down-to-earth person, and enjoys the solidarity of nature. He admits that there are some things that are very nice to have. He does have an MP3 player, which he is almost constantly wearing as he walks around. He's a physical person who accepts the fact that there are some nice modern marvels.

Instead of replying with a 'you're welcome' after being thanked, Luke will ignore the comment completely and immediately change the subject to something else. The only time he will say 'you're welcome' to anyone is to his family, or those he is extremely close to. This is because even though he wants equal opportunity and rights for both mutants and humans, he tends to find it difficult to trust humans completely as they have the tendency to lash out against mutants unexpectedly. So while he is very open a comfortable around groups, he will always be on the lookout for possible negative situations.

Since he's explored his feral side as best he can, he has a good amount of control over it so it doesn't surface a whole lot until someone really upsets him.

Interests: Luke enjoys most any physical activity, including sports (football and basketball mainly), but his favorite pastime is camping (the real kind), where he hikes and generally explores around the area. He also likes to try out different activities people recommend to him. Not that he might like it, but he does it to have a better sense of experience.

Family: Mother, father, and a younger sister and brother.

History: His parents moved to America from England when he was a baby, taking residence in Syracuse, New York. He had a positive childhood, with his parents encouraging his growth and to explore everything he could. When his brother and sister were born, he took up the role as Big Brother and was active in raising and playing with them as they grew.

He embraced his mutations (specifically his feralism) without much problem, and loves how he can tell what a person is feeling emotionally just by their scent. His feralism first started manifesting when he was thirteen, then the rest of his abilities manifested at the age of fifteen. At first his parents were a bit hesitant as to what to do. They were more afraid what would happen if someone found out about his abilities rather than being afraid of him, but they did accept him and eventually life returned to normal. His powers weren't overly noticeable, so there was nothing to greatly fear happening.

Lukas has lived a pretty normal life, all things considered, and is in his third year in college. He attended Xavier's school before if became public, more as to learn about mutants in general, and now he sticks around as more of a guide and helper to new students. He is very close with Professor Xavier, because Xavier can sense the sense of good will inside of him. While he may put up a quiet and centered outside, he still constantly goes out of his way to help others. The Professor also can tell that he shares the same view of humans as he does, and highly considers him one of his top former students. He has already had talks about bringing in Luke as a guidance-counselor-type person once he is finished with college, a position he has already fallen into.

Miscellaneous: He is a smoker, and whenever he isn't within the walls of the school, he can usually be found with a cigarette hanging out of the corner of his mouth (due to the fact that Xavier disapproves of such behavior). He was introduced to it mainly because both his parents smoked. Despite the fact that it didn't do anything for him after the first couple times, it just kind of became a habit.

He also has a British accent from his parents, though it is not as strong as theirs. Several of the standard British idioms are apparent in his speech, due to the fact that he learned to speak from his heavily-British parents.

He looks forward to his 21st birthday, so then he could legally drink and win drinking contests since he'd only get a buzz due to his immunity. Not that he could do it often, since he doesn't really like beer, but has discovered that these kind of contests are sometimes quite vital in settling disputes among humans.

ZekeD
Name: Ares Ezekeil
Alias: Steelshaper
Alignment: student at the Xavier Institute
Age/DOB: 14
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 142 lbs.
Occupation: Student (Theif)
Education: High school Freshman
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Irish, Scottish, British decent

Physical Traits: Ares is tall, as it is evident by the fact that he is 5-11 at only 14. It was normally make him look quite lanky, though due to his training that he has put himself through, his is rather well build. He hides it nicely, though, as he is always wearing a dirty brown leather jacket and loose, baggy pants. He has fiery red hair, which stands out in small, short spikes. He has a swimmer’s build, meaning that his body is in a somewhat upsidedown triangle. He has wide shoulders that narrow out into a smaller-waisted body, though nothing is out of proportion.

Outfit: As stated above, his normal attire is plain, street clothes. The ensemble begins with a pair of plain, baggy jeans. Not too dark, not to light, looks just right (rhymes so tight!). Above this is a grey t-shirt. It fluctuates per day, sometimes having a random symbol or a billboard advertisement (read: logo) on it, other times it’s plain and grey. To top it all off, he wears this dirty brown leather jacket. Dirty brown, as in the color, not it’s clean-ness. For footwear, he wears a pair of sneakers, ones meant for heavy footwork, such as running, jumping, etc, etc.

Uniform: If offered one, he would laugh. He had spent all of his life training and...working...in the clothes he is always in, and anything else he would feel incredibly uncomfortable.

Major Mutations: Ares' main power stems from his incredible control over metal. Unlike Magneto's control over metal, which stems from his mastery of magnetism, Ares has direct control over the genetic makeup of metal. With the mere touching of his hand, he can take a sheet of metal and construct a pail, a pole, a cage, even something like a simple statue. His powers follow the laughs of matter, as he cannot create something from nothing, and cannot remove something. For example, if he were to create a hople in a large metal wall, a mass of the same magnitude would appear elsewhere on that piece of metal.

If he were to craft a large block into a pole, it would have to be directly proportional to the size of the block. He would have a very large, hollow pole, or a shorter, solid pole. He could also somewhat "meld" the metal together, making it twice as strong, though the weight of the object would remain the same.

Mutation Mechanics: Metal, like all other matter, is comprised of atoms. Metals, due to these atoms, are normally solids and quite immovable and unmoldable at room temperature, though they are able to be "melted" and then shaped into whatever shape while in liquid form, before they cool and take on their new shape. Ares' mutant power allows him to convert metal into this moldable liquid form through touch, and then shape it into any shape he wishes, though a strange form of "metal telekensis". His brainwaves send instructions to the metal, causing the atoms to shift and move to his will. After he is done, he merely has to stop touching the metal, or stop shaping it, and it will return to it's solid state.

Skills: Having dealt with metal almost all of his life, Ares has gotten quite strong physically. Inside his jacket he always keeps some pieces of metal, hiding it in his sleaves, inside some pockets, in his shoe, etc. Carrying all this metal made his quite used to being weighted down, and thus he is quite fast, agile, and strong. Because he was a thief, he had to learn to be stealthy, and also had to be able to be able to fight his way out of a sticky situation. He has become quite proficient with a quarterstaff, which is his weapon of choice due to the ability to create a metal one out of almost any other metal object.

Personality: Ares is an a*****e. Let me repeat that. Ares is an a*****e. He says what he wants, when he wants, and has little to no regard for the feelings of others. That being said, he can, and has in the past, created strong friendships. These friendships are the things he holds dearest, though with him being at a new place he doubts any of them will occur any time soon. He'll go out of his way to make a joke, even if it is at others expense (make that, especially that other's expense), and won't hesitate to defend his right to do so.

Interests: At the top of the list of interests...stealing. He loves it. He isn't sure why, but stealing something would always bring a smile to his face. Other than that, he loves telling jokes, insulting people, and violence. For a brief period of time, he had a strange affection for fire, though that was just a silly phase of his.

Family: Sarah and Robert Ezekeil. They have no mutant powers, and he has no siblings.

History: Ares' powers began to manifest when he was 12, and he used it for no good. He didn't hurt anyone, but he became a thief. He could take coins and mold them into something else, only to recreate them later. He could create a hole in a wall or a container in order to retrieve whatever was inside. Basically, he just took whatever he wanted and whatever he could.

He was never suspected for any of his crimes, though his parents began to take notice of all the new things he was getting, especially the toys and electronics that were quite expensive. He had also stopped asking for things, even on his birthday. So one day they confronted him about it, and unable to lie straight to their face, he finally admitted to them what he had been doing.

They heard about Charles Xavier's school, and instead of turning him in to the authorities, they told him he had to go to the school in order to learn discipline with his powers. He wasn't to thrilled with there ruling, though he preferred it to the alternative.

Saika_Kitera_Bejiita

*incomplete bio, also set up for a different RPG*

Name: Elektricia Marie Provenzano
Nicknames: Elektra
Alias: n/a
Alignment: X-Men (Student)
Age/DOB: 18/March 14
Gender: Female
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 105 lbs
Occupation: college student / part-time job as mechanic
Education: college sophomore/junior (skipped classes from accelerated high school classes and tests)
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Mutt. (Mwaha.) 1/4 Italian, from mother's side.

Physical Traits: Elektra has dark brown eyes and blue-black hair. Her natural hair color is a medium-dark brown, but she prefers it black, thinking it looks better. With a natural tan complexion from her father's side, she doesn't have to spend a lot of time in the sun to get darker. Luckily, she didn't get her mother's tendency to burn immediately. (Her Italian genes are more Southern Italian, hence the dark hair and dark eyes. For some odd reason, tan complexion is not included in that mix.)

(She doesn't know it, but when she's concentrating on her electrical abilities, a faint blue tint does form around her iris.)

Developed from years of sports, as well as hiking up and down mountain sides, she has very strong leg muscles; however, her arm muscles are very weak. This is from not doing sports that require any sort of upper-body strength. Also, she has a lean body-type, something she has been known to call "her stick-ness". She blames her naturally high metabolism for that.

Outfit: When she's not at work, most of the time she's wearing some comination of jeans and a t-shirt. She doesn't like flashy, trendy clothing, and certainly shows a disdain for "girly" clothes. She will, on occassion, wear shirts that show off her midriff along with low-cut long pants. Elektra considers skirts as evil, so don't even expect to find one on her save for very rare times. As far as shoes are concerned, she hates flip-flops (swearing they try to kill her with tripping her) and heals/platforms (ie, "girl-shoes"). Instead, she prefers guys sneakers, but particularly skater's shoes, like Vans, or a pair of hiking boots. Just as look as the shoes don't have a "girl-y" appearance (save for that rare exception..).

Her work clothes really aren't that much different. Since she does part-time for a mechanic, her clothes consist of oil-and-grease-covered shirts and jeans. Expect to see holes in either of them.

Uniform: None.

Major Mutations: Though for the most part she has no real control over it, her powers are based around electricity. (It just ended up some strange twist of fate that her name correlates to her powers.) At her current state, having had no training in control, she cannot produce something like a lightning bolt and throw it at someone/something. She just does not have the control (no matter how much she'd like to).

Through experimentation, she's discovered that she can conduct a small amount of electricity through objects over a short distance. (She cannot conduct across an average size room yet, ie average classroom.) In this respect, she can shock a person through touch, though if she put concentration into it (which at this stage is a lot) the shock would be more extreme than something like static shock. Her current distance for conducting is at max 5 ft from her, and even at that distance it's very minimal. If someone were to be closer, the shock would become more extreme, up to being right next to her where it would probably feel like poking a fork in an electrical outlet.

As far as touching someone goes, unconsciously she will "static shock" the person, as her body naturally emits this energy. Keeping this in mind, it is not uncommon for tiny electrical bolts to jump between her fingers when they're spread apart. For this reason, she tends to keep her hands either in her pockets or held in fists.

Minor Mutations: She constantly has a "static charge" on her because of her powers. Because of that, she always has to use hairspray to keep her hair down and to make it less obvious about her charge. Also, due to this effect, she does not feel, nor is affected by, static shocks from outside sources.

She cannot take overloads of energy, and so a lightning bolt strike will harm her to some degree; however, she will not be as severely injured as a normal person would be if struck. Of course, hypothetically speaking, if she were playing a game of softball and holding a metal bat, she would probably be thrown into a short coma if struck by lightning. (Or at least be comatose for a period of time.)

Skills: (stuff your character is good at, not his/her powers) Not cooking. >.> Debating, martial arts, sports (ie, coordination). Japanese language.

Personality: (( I'll get back to this..... >.>;; ))

Interests: [This can just be a sentence or two, but don't list.] She has a very morbid interest in all forms of weaponry, but particularly in pointy objects, like swords. Also, despite having no talent in it, she likes to draw.

Family: [Listing is okay, though specify names if possible.] Parents are divorced. Two older half-siblings, both live on their own and don't keep in much contact with the rest of the family.
Mom- Marie Provenzano (52)
Dad- Jerrod O'Conner (58 )
Siblings- Jerrod O'Conner, Jr (31- already divorced once), Garnett O'Conner-Morgans (28- sister, married)

History: [Must be at least 2 paragraphs in length.] Born a month premature, Elektra was expected to have all sorts of "premie"-related problems. However, once in the clear a couple days later, she was showing signs of "normal-ness", ie, not expected to develop problems in terms of sight, hearing, or mental capacities, etc.

As she grew up, this was fairly obvious. In fact, her mother noticed that in pre-school Elektra would cause problems. Thinking the cause of this was because of being too bored, her mother tested this thought by moving her up to the next "grade" half-way through the year, and Elektra's troublemaking reduced to almost nothing.

Her parents having divorced when she was little, she spent a lot of time at her aunt's apartment after school while her mother worked full-time. The weekends, and a few specific holidays, she spent with her father. Due to the age gap, she doesn't remember spending a lot of quality time with her two siblings.

The rest of her childhood passed by normally. She grew up with no problems, her mother changing jobs twice to something more convenient time and money-wise. She had high grades throughout her school years and even entered into accelerated classes in middle and high school.

With financial support from her mom's side of the family, she and her mother were able to live comfortably in a small house out in the Catskills Mountains. Despite the support, her mother was obstinate and kept her full-time job. Even so, Elektra never felt "rich"- mostly because the kids she went to school with up until high school were the stereotypical rich snobs.

While she was in 8th grade (14 years old), she came to realize that she had abilities with electricity. After Thanksgiving, she was helping her mother decorate the house with lights and got shocked when unplugging a string from the outlet in the garage. The sensation from the shock was only minor, which confused her mother who had seen Elektra's hand hit the metal of the plug while still in the socket. Her mother wrote it off as that Elektra had only hit the plug for a second, but the girl knew exactly how long her hand had been there. Instead of correcting her, the teenager kept it to herself.

Since then, she'd started to notice a constant static charge. Of course, with it being winter, it was easy to dismiss it. But when spring and summer came around, Elektricia determined that it was not normal to have some form of constant static "cling". A news report going on at the time perked her interest to research about mutants.

By the time she had graduated from high school, Elektra had had some fun experimenting with what she could and could not do (in secret, of course). Having no real training with them, she didn't develop them nor learn to control them- simply experimented and explored her possibilities. The degree to which she can use them now is just based on their natural expansion.

Now, as a first-year college student, she has moved to a place closer to the university she attends and uses money gained by scholarships to pay for most of her academic-related expenses, as well as part of her housing. The rest of her expenditures she makes via income received by a part-time job as a mechanic at the local body shop. After she discovered she could partially jump-start dead batteries, she's used it to her advantage to find electrical problems in cars.

Miscellaneous: Attends Mercy College in White Plains, going for certification as a paralegal (and taking her time). Minoring in digital media. Lives in university-affiliated apartment complex off-campus.
