PERSONALITY
tab i - Hard tab ii - Closed off tab iii - Loner tab iv - Talkative tab v - Melancholic
Savella is all moonlight and shadows. A loner and recluse by nature, she prefers her own company over the company of anyone else. She's learned to walk the walk and talk the talk of a normal human being, being aware that socializing is an important and crucial skill, but is often one to sit alone if given the chance. Somewhat nihilistic and pessimistic when it comes to her outlook on others and the world, the "Unlovable" tends to hold her cards close to her chest and keep people at a distance. You can never be betrayed if you don't let people in.
Savella is capable of keeping her outwards façade of complete control around other people, but inside she suffers the same shortfalls as any other normal person. Anxious, depressed, and starved for connection Savella is often melancholic in nature. The woman shows a poorly hidden suspicion of magic, and a healthy distrust of the power that one wields with otherworldly forces. She is often an advocate of restrictions against magic wielders, and inherently believes that those with magic will always fall to ruin-- even if they don't have an active hand in their own downfall.

Character Inventory:
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Mr. and Mrs. Monrot's names have been lost to time. The two, married out of necessity and not love, were petty farmers clawing their way to making a living. They lived 4 apathetic years together in till Mrs. and Mr. Monrot conceived a child. Childbirth, as it always is, is long and dangerous, and Mrs. Monrot was lost to hemorrhaging. Staring at the child who had killed the only person he could ever somewhat stand, Mr. Monrot carted his daughter off to his distant family without ever giving her a name. The child didn't fair much better with her new family. She was the plainest out of the four Monrot children living in the household, and though her new guardians were far from poor, it was still in their daughter's best interest to marry in to higher class families. Their burden, only nicknamed "hag", would stay behind to take care of Don and Donna Monrot in their old age-- such was the lot she had pulled in life.
While the Monrot girls were primmed, prepped, and trained to walk along nobility, "Hag" was trained to clean chamber pots and feed the livestock. "Hag" had all but surrendered to her supposed destiny, that is in till at the age of eleven she discovered that she had... abilities. Soon, "Hag" was carted off to learn magecraft, and upon entry in to her school was finally gifted a name-- Savel. Savel was very talented when it came to magic, and she quickly passed those who had been studying for decades longer than she. Despite her talent, Savel was brash and overconfident. Her confidence landed her in a prestigious position as a court wizard for a high-ranking noble, but it was also her downfall.
At the young age of twenty, Savel was protecting the lord's daughter as she traveled to their summer castle in the outskirts of Rauch. It was meant to be a calm ride, uneventful, but the carriage took a wrong turn and quickly moved towards the border instead-- a dangerous area due to the skirmishes that had broken out recently between a roaming beast tribe and the local farmers driven by xenophobia. Quickly, the carriage was attacked under the suspicion of being a disguised supply line for the nomadic beastmen. Savel managed to save the noble daughter, but at a severely high cost to herself. Overusing her abilities, and not using enough control, Savel fried her own body-- covering herself in scars and damaging her nervous system. The lady took pity on her and brought her with to the castle, but the Lord quickly denounced her failure to control herself and cast her out.
It wasn't long before the college did the same.
With her shunning from the college, Savel lost her fame and her prestige. An -ella was tacked to the end of her name, a mark of disgrace. The newly named Savella found her way as a lowly mercenary, and has kept herself pretty secluded and out of the public eye since her shunning.

1. What does your character's name mean to her?
"Failure. Hubris. Disappointment." 2. It's January second. Where is your character today and what is she doing?
"Is that date supposed to mean anything to me?" 3. If your character could change one physical detail about herself, what would it be?
4. Describe your character's hairstyle in detail. Why did she choose it? How much does she care about it?
"It's a ghostly reminder of my dead, elaborate lifestyle. The top half is pulled back and braided in the back with a dark lavender ribbon. I didn't much care for my hair before, but it's one of the only things left of me that's still beautiful." 5. What is your character's favorite physical activity?
6. When was the last time your character climbed a tree? Why and under what circumstances? If she has never climbed one, why not?
"The last time I climbed a tree was to launch a dagger at a guard's face. Is that a satisfactory answer?" 7. Your character comes face-to-face with her worst enemy. What is her first reaction?
8. What is your character's least favorite physical activity?
9. What is your character's favorite weather?
"The scorching mid-summer weather, where your skin blisters under the direct sunlight." 10. What is your character's favorite season?
"Winter, when white dusts the grasses and everything is muted. When you can hear a footstep from across a field. When the wind nips at your nose and cheeks, and everything feels sharp." 11. Your character keeps a photo album of memories from her lifetime. If she could only keep one photo, what would it depict?
"Really? Pictures of everything I've lost? That's morose." 12. Does your character keep any pets?
"No. I've always wanted a cat, however." 13. A very large centipede runs across your character's leg. What does she do?
"Let it be along it's way. Just because it's ugly, doesn't mean it has any less of a right to live." 14. What does your character eat for breakfast?
"Porridge, mostly. Back when I wasn't a disgrace, I would eat a bagel with cheese and grapes for breakfast, usually with whatever juice was in season." 15. What is your character's least favorite weather?
"Clear, bright, sunny weather." 16. What is your character's fondest childhood memory?
"This is a joke question, right?" 17. What is your character's favorite piece of artwork?
"There was this picture at the castle. A gorgeous thing, that depicted a scene where it was storming. The way the lightning cast across the background was gorgeous... Too bad I'll never see it again." 18. What is your character's least favorite season?
19. Someone asks your character to describe her family. How does she answer?
"I never knew my original family. My caretakers were cruel and selfish. I was not family to them, and would never be even if I had tried. I was a pet." 20. Is your character a morning person, a night owl, or something else entirely?
"The way the moon glints across the water like sharpened steel, the feel of the cool breeze on your neck as the city sleeps in silence. To be pure shadow, flittering in between buildings, unseen... Yes, you could say I am a night owl." 21. What is your character's least favorite color?
"I don't see much color now, but I always thought yellow was an gaudy, ugly color." 22. What does the color orange make your character think of? How does it make her feel?
23. Your character walks into her home and sees blood on the floor. What is her first reaction or thought?
"You do realize that blood on my floor is a normal occurrence in my abode, yes?" 24. Describe the outside of your character's home.
"I live in a small apartment. I don't have an exterior." 25. Describe a typical birthday for your character.
"I wallow in self pity for the entirety of the day or get horrifically drunk. No one celebrated my birthday before, and I'm sure no one ever will." 26. What mythological figure best personifies your character?
27. What is your character's least favorite ********. Dogs." 28. A law enforcement officer stops your character for a minor violation. How does she react?
"I'm actually not sure what I would do. I've never been caught. I'd probably play on my crippled state. 'Oh I'm so sorry, I can't see where I'm going. Could you help me back to the streets? I need to beg for my lunch' or something to that degree. Men are gullible, and can't resist a damsel in distress." 29. What does the color red make your character think of? How does it make her feel?
"Blood. The feel of Don Monrot's rings against my cheeks. The sound of my screams as I woke up, burned and beaten, from my greatest mistake." 30. A stranger makes a crude comment to your character. How does she react?
"People always make crude comments about me. Such is life." 31. What is your character's favorite animal?
