The Grieving Warrior
“So…what are we supposed to do? Just let that monster picks off our children on-by-one?! You’re the console! Don’t tell me there’s nothing you can’t do!”
They balls their fist in anguish.
“If you don’t do anything I will.”
• They turn towards the crowd of frighten people.
• The grieving Warrior tries to rally the crowd. The herd of villagers watches the grieving Warrior, as they captivate all eyes and ears in attendance.
“The beast has claimed another life today! This time…it took my son. It took others before my son, and it will come back for more of our people! And you want to know why?! It is because we live in isolation! We live within our individual selves and our individual families away from other tribes who are different from our own!”
“And that makes us ALL easy prey for the beast.”
• The grieving Warrior begins to speak from a heavy heart with a vengeful tone.
“But…if we unite, and stand together against the beast, we will never suffer another lost, such as the one that has befallen us, THIS NIGHT! If we gather the youngest, strongest warrior from each tribe, willing to fight, we will have the strength to hunt and kill the beast. But…if we continue on this path of isolation…it’s only a matter of time until the beast hunts and kills us all”.
