Hi, I would like to know you more so I wanted you to tell me How Often do you change you avi and Why?
Personally, I make the avi to be seen, so I use it for a couple of days, if I'm in the patient mood, even for more than a week. But I love to know different opinions and points of view, so I'd love to read you.
Also, if you have some kind of order or pattern. For example, I try to put a lighter avi and then a darker one, so I do not feel so repetitive.

I am the same way. I try to keep my avi for at least a week unless I get super excited to finish something. Doing contests and ghosting has really helped me not feel the urge to change as often.
Do you come back to your avi's after you switched them for a new one? I found that I rarely do unless I want to tweak it further.

I used to never change my avatar. There were a lot fewer items around back then. Though once the Monthly Collectibles were released and if I got some, then I'd make a new avatar with them. Since the end of my hiatus though, I'll change my avatar just about daily. I was doing a 30 Day challenge and so I would leave my avatar on whatever design I made that day.
Now, I usually go on small shopping sprees for cheap items in whatever scheme I fancy that day and I'll make an avatar from them. Sometimes I remember to save the avatars in my outfit section and sometimes I forget, but I do like to go back and put on previous designs I've made. Especially if I got additional items from that scheme and I want to tweak it a little.

It's rare that I come back to the same avi, jut some of the that I found really interesting. But, even in those cases, I try to give them a turn of screw, like maybe a more matching item or bg...
And ABSOLUTELY, ghosting contests cease my eager to create more avis XD

Oh, I used to have one avi a month back then too, and now I have 99 slots occupied in my outfit storage XD
Ghosting constest helped me with my avi anxiety XDDDD
Yes, I do like to look for usable cheep items and try to make something out of them. Or maybe I start something with the items I have and then buy something that matches my idea, usually backgrounds or accents.
I'm not so much into schemes because I am more of the color balance, maibe more that a schem, a certain color. But yes, once in a while I do some outfit that an iprovement of an old one. This one I'm using right now it's my OC, Captain Ondine, that use to have another format when I was in Gaia 8 years ago. HERE it's a guide to her, for example. (sorry for my horrible english in that post)

I like my avi's. So Every few weeks I change. It's usually triggered by the shows I'm watching or someone else's avi that's similar. Every now and then I'm inspired to make a new one. My Holiday avi's are lacking.

But I've learned to at least wear an outfit one day haha
I think I've calmed down, I think the longest I equipped an ava was a couple of months just because I took a break~
Now depending if I get bored, inspired or challenged I change it c:

I change my avi every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I'm not unsatisfied with my outfits, it's just fun to play dressup. sweatdrop

Inspiration is always the key. I love how maybe an item you liked or some idea just triggers everything.

Yeah when I started obtaining more it was like a radical change for me haha Like someone stated above, I used to have a couple of "outfits" or signature looks I would rotate because I had a small invo I love making avis so I like being challenged~ whee

I usually rotate outfits every 2-3 days. I'm always shopping, and If I come across something I like , I'll make a new avi right away with it haha

Of course, and mathing the SAME COLOR was so difficult back in those days, like red was bunch of red tones, all different; now you look for verdigris and you have a TON of items with that same color...

Hanurai I usually rotate outfits every 2-3 days. I'm always shopping, and If I come across something I like , I'll make a new avi right away with it haha I absolutely get it. When I Get one item from my wl I do an avi with ir right away... I can not say that i but things all the time, but, once in a while, I do =3 And yes, at least 2 or 3 days for the avi to be seen and I to enjoy it 3nodding
