Happy new month everyone!
New discussion topic! How do you feel about single pose items?
- Do you collect them? Do you find them worth the cost?
- Do you use the unique colors they have?
- Do you have no idea what I'm talking about?
>>Examples:  (eyes),  (hairs)<<
*Single pose items I define as those with one wearable pose in different colors.
I find it depends on if I really like the item or not. Often I don't think it is worth the cost since it only has one pose. Other times I fixate on them no matter how costly.

I do own a couple of single use items (with multiple recolour poses/multiple poses of the same item with different colour schemes). They're overwhelmingly hair/eye/face poses.
It's funny (ironic?), but I wouldn't buy an item with multiple poses if I only liked one pose. That's one of the criteria I use when considering what to sell/buy in the marketplace.

I have a lot of those, but only in poses that I like.
It's very useful to have different colors bc i like to combine schemes & experiment with colors so the same pose in diff colors is def handy.

I'm starting to buy hairstyles, but I do love EYES and other face or body features... I can't say I collect them, but they are really useful. For example, both you and me love playing with natural an fairytale skintones, and for those, single pose items are really needed... And obviously it helps to make the avi more wholesome if you have hair and eyes that matches the idea 3nodding

ohmigosh yes, I use them a bunch. Its great for hair/eyes/decorations that are awesome and give me a bunch of outfit ideas - awesome to have these without having to buy a bunch of seperate items just to have a recolor of one pose.
They're also a must for some of the rarer color schemes I like - half the items that have those schemes are in single pose recolor items.

I had a single pose item made so I could get a specific thing that I always used in colors that matched/went other items that I had and used a lot (hopefully it's useful to other people, too)
As for other single pose items, sometimes I'll go for them, sometimes I won't.
Sometimes it's a matter of "oo, this is pretty and there's all these different options" and other times its more of a practicality thing. There are items out there that I really only want for one pose, and it's nice to have the one thing you want without the other stuff, so you don't forget what it is you like about said item and sell it off. (I have so totally done that.)

I think they can be great items, especially fore makeup poses and accessories.
I do have quite a few of them. One of my go to's:  Ethereal Eyeshadow

It does save if you can buy the single pose item instead of a couple recolors. Ugh I rather dislike when over half the scheme is just single pose items.

Yes! The face and ear mods are the best investments in my opinion. They are! I agree. 3nodding

Not a specific avatar, but I quite often find awesome arms and awesome legs and go looking around in my inventory for something to fill the gap . . . and mostly it's loose, floofy tops or dresses that kind of hide everything. Then I found the Charmed Rose Bodice, and it fills that gap without hiding anything you want to show off. I don't think I have every recolor of charmed rose, yet, but there isn't one that's all dark or all pale, and I'm rather fond of the olive scheme--plus I thought those color combinations would go well with a wide array of schemes. **Edit** Here's some examples of avis where I've used the bodice (the third one uses one of the existing charmed rose recolors). Some kind of stand out, but some are just there.
