Hello everyone sorry for the delay! Life is busy busy
New discussion topic! What item tags would you like to see implemented?
Item tags are what make an item searchable; they are the search terms such as #yellow or #headband
- What are some tags that you search frequently?
- What are some tags that you would like to see added?
- What items do you use that have NO tags?
I would loooove if they had a specific tag for bare arm and leg mods #barearm or #bareleg as well as bodymods. I would also really like tags for fullbody skins and single pose items.
Also more specific background and filter item/pose tags.
As always, looking forward to your responses! You can answer one or all of the questions or just post your thoughts~

Cutter tag. Please. So I don't have to search agape, ske* (sketchbook), three (princess <3) almost every avi...
A foreground tag would be nice to implement to all items that layer in front of the avi...

It would be amazing! I use "right to bare" for some bare arm mods from a rig. For suuure, cutter tags. So frustrating. I usually use less for the princess one haha Ooo I really like that one. That would be great for scenics.

The bare arm and leg tag would be awesome! Also #background, #sitonthis
(for stuff you can sit on), #sitting (sitting legs), and #fantasyskin (I get lost trying to find the oni skin items) would be really helpful.
It would be awesome if users could tag items themselves so we can easily search some the the older items. Maybe those would go through an approval before the change is made.
And yes cutter tags. They could even do abbreviations for tags and then post something that explains the tags.
I typically search for color schemes because those come up pretty consistently. Otherwise if I am looking for something special I use guides. Although some are getting pretty old. crying

I know it would probably be an impossible task but even an update to color tags. A "true black" or something would be nice so I don't run into pages of "offblack" in my searches crying

I don't have any real "answers", but gotta say the tags can be a pain. I'll put a search tag for a pose in, and it'll bring up items that don't have that pose at all emotion_bigvein emotion_bigvein annoying! Before adding new tags, I would like the current system to get revised so that if you say "lips" it doesn't bring up items that have full faces with lips but not lips alone. If I wanted full faces, I'd put "face", not "lip(s)"! (just an example)

I have noticed things that are two part names of items like "midnight sun" for example would come up under sun even though there is no sun pose. That's super annoying.

All of the things listed so far in this thread, honestly lol
I get so annoyed sometimes trying to find things. Like I know it -should- be tagged as something and then its not
Not entirely on topic, but more than anything I wish I could search tags in dress up and have a way to filter out items that are unlisted there. Never fails, I'm getting together something new and half the items I like are unlisted stressed
It would also be nice if you could search a tag and the icon be relevant to the search, rather than the default icon

There's so many things I wish were more streamlined in tags. I mean, I have all the cutter items but I still made sure to get the individual cutters in that one bundle so that I can look them up with 'singlecutter' because the generic 'cutter' tag is uselessly bloated. As far as my most used searches, I do like the fact that color schemes and colors are getting more specific searches, so if I'm working within a color set I'll use color scheme names a lot. Then, I use 'nose', 'ears', 'tattoo', 'skin' pretty frequently when building up faces and/or making weird creatures. I know I probably use more items with no tags, but the one that sticks in my mind is the Box of Totally Innocent Objects. Gah, it's so hard to remember what the icon is for that item and it's just a pain to find.

Like you’d search “leg mod” and the icon would show the leg mod even on multi pose items It would make it so much easier
