tab [::] General Description [::]
tab Skyeveil holds prestige as the oldest human nation, Ternesjvorel as the most stalwart, Ellehan is known as the seat of magical knowledge, and Concord as the birthplace of peace between the forces of man and wilderness. In the shadow of all of these events has remained one nation with a strong, resolute throne; Aragon.
While younger than their brother nation of Skyeveil by a couple decades, should the historian's records be concise, there is one thing that Aragon boasts as truth that no other nation can, save Ternesjvorel. An undisputed claim and lineage of their throne.
This iron grip comes from more than just record-keeping, however; The Sovereign's word in the nation is Law Incarnate. The intricacies of court and its many intrigues are an attempt to find higher social status to avoid the punishments of lower status while avoiding any façade of usurpation to the throne.

tab [::] Governance [::]
tab Aragon is an Absolute Monarchy, wherein the Sovereign's word is final. Those upon which his lands have been granted have been tasked with arbitration of The King's Law, and while the Monarch may bend an ear to the closest of his nobles, he is beholden to none.

tab [::] Architecture [::]
tab In the heart of Aragon lies the capital, the seat of power and culture for the nation. Much of the capital is built in styles consisting of large grand columns, interior volumes of a grand scale, and more simplistic geometric forms save for rib vaults, flying buttresses, and pointed arches. Palladian windows are common in the construction of non-grand architecture such as individual homes but sometimes grand versions are employed as well. In the capital and surrounding areas buildings are commonly constructed with marble or brick, rather than stone like they are in Ternesvjorel.
However as one gets further out from the capital the architecture shifts to a no less beautiful but decidedly less grand scale with white stucco walls, wooden support beams, red clay roofs, and small courtyards.
