tab The Grand Spire of Ellehan and the City-State surrounding it are the result of the First Convocation, when Magi from around the nations gathered to settle upon magickal law. The location chosen was home to a small group of wizards who had taken over an abandoned Arcane Tower. The Convocation gathering drew a gathering, from merchants, retinue, and the curious. Workers gathered to prepare the Spire for their guests, and a city was born. Or so goes the common tale.

tab The governance of the Spire delineated from this original convocation and paying tribute to the founder of the Spire; the Archmage. In governance below the Archmage are the Councillors, drawn from houses both Arcane and Non, to advance equity within the lands of Ellehan.

The Council meets every Season to discuss matters of import to the nation, and vote upon the passage of legislation.
