In combat Mickey is one you don't want to have start a fight but you're more than glad when he's there. He's simple, but very effective; aggressive, but never reckless, and his willingness to go toe-to-toe with the enemy has gotten the team out of enough tough spots that they forgive him the few he got them into.

BIOGRAPHY: Born to a fairly successful meister and weapon couple, Mickey never felt like he couldn't have what he wanted. His parents tried to give him everything to distract him from feeling alone when they were away on missions. This left a rift between him and his parents as he never felt like he really connected with them because of this. When he became of age to join the DWMA, he sprang at the chance. He hoped by joining he would better be able to understand his parents and connect with them. Lucky for him he had just acquired his first demon weapon form.
"The Zweihรคnder. So it seems our German heritage is strong in you." His grandmother chuckled. She found him goofing around after watching an old kung fu movie when his arm had transformed and almost cut down a tree while out camping. He was terrified that he would get into trouble for the damage. His grandmother let out a smile. "Hmm. I don't see anyone around who could possibly have done this. No one here with an axe or chainsaw. Nope. No one like that here." It would remain his favorite secret. The only secret he wanted to remember.
While his early days were mostly academic and filled with attempts to make friends, they were also very boring, but It was soon he would find where he shined most. It turned out he was extremely adept in combat. So much so, that he blew past his parents scores on his first week and after the first month was asked if he'd help other students. He impressed his instructors so much that he had earned the nickname Polemos. While this impressed his mother greatly, it worried his father. He worried it would make him seem violent. It was here however he met his first serious crush.
"Hi, I'm Jonathan Highwind! That's a strong right hook you got there" He had caught Mickey's punch. No one had done that before besides the instructors. None of them had made it seem so normal either. Who just goes around catching punches midair without a care and with such soft han- NO! Don't be intimidated, Mickey. Try to imagine him in his underwear. Mickey paused, blushed and stepped back. His stupid imagination had run rampant "Oh no! He's Hot!" Jonathan however had actually wanted to ask to spar with him. Spar? Fight? That was something he was good at. Something he could do to keep his mind focused.
They faced each other. Cautious, determined, ready for a fight. Their eyes lock, and they draw their first breath. Their blows land with almost no force. At first. A tap. A brush. A feint. A counter. A shift. A response. They test and assess each other, neither taking any serious damage. It was the first time that Mickey had felt really alive and the first time he had real fun with anyone like this. After 10 minutes of sparring the instructor broke them up as class ended. It was awesome! He felt amazing, exhausted, but amazing. Finally a reason to go to classes!
Maybe school wouldn't be so boring after all.
After a few months Mickey asked if Jonathan would like to hang out in his dorm room. For hours they played games and chatted about their home lives. Finding out each other's interests and dreams. Later that evening they started watching random cable tv movies, making fun of the plot holes until they happened upon what they found out was both of their favorite romance movie: Ghost.
When it got to the slow dance scene they both joke how they've never learned to dance and how they could practice with each other. Eventually they clear some space and attempt a simple tango from watching a video. They quickly begin dancing, very well to their surprise. To both it was as if the other was in perfect tune with them. Each step, each spin, each twist was perfectly in sync. All was well and good until they forgot how much space they had and fell onto the bed. After a bit of laughter Jonathan leaned in but Mickey gently pushed him away. "O-Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean-""No! it's not you. It's me. I-I can't...do that. My first was stolen from me, so I can't. I'd love to, but can't. ""I'm so sorry. I didn't kn-" he saw Mickey had raised his fist up to Jonathan. "This. This is what I'd prefer." Jonathan smiled and bumped fists with Mickey. It was weird at first, but it would be theirs. It was also in this moment that they realized they had matching wavelengths.
Then the one thing all teens dread happened. He heard a familiar knock on his door. "I'm both respecting both of your privacy by knocking but asserting my authority as Mickey's father by coming in anyway!" And that is when Jonathan met Mickey's now overly excited parents.
For the next year the two spent almost every waking moment together and learned that Mickey had a second weapon form in the form of a giant bow. After that they decided it best to start doing missions and get some real experiences. But whatever it is they did, they decided to do it together.
CLASS: Weapon โจโจโจโจDual Alterer โจ Weapons of the Dual Alterer Path are demon weapons focused on serving as the sole weapon for one meister. Dual Alterers gain two additional perks for their primary weapon type. Additionally, the Dual Alterer receives one extra perk for every level attained when they remain loyal to only one meister. ARCHETYPE: Hero โจโจโจโจ Everyone is the hero of their own story, even villains. Heroic souls have a slow but loud hum to their wavelength. Hero souls tend to be brave and convicted but foolhardy at times. Heroes gain 1 point to their strength stat and lose 1 point to their wisdom. Heroes start with two additional perks for heavy weapon skills if of the Weapon class. If of the Witch or Meister class then two more perks are given for a strength skill. Once every five posts, Heroes may cause an offensive heavy weapon or strength-based technique/spell to overwhelm an enemy technique or spell of the same level. Greatsword โจ Great Swing | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Stamina The wielder swings the greatsword with a scaled level of stamina behind the swing at an opponent. The higher the level of stamina applied the more powerful the swing will be against enemy techniques and spells. The greatsword is swung with so much force that it cuts the air and increases the range of the slice five feet per level.
โจ Sharp Gale | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Stamina The user swings the greatsword with so much force that it cuts through the air and generates a gust of wind. This gale takes the shape of the sword and travels forty feet, cutting down all in its path.

This whips up a sharp tornado of greatsword slashes that will cut down any weaker enemy techniques or spells. This is primarily used as a defensive technique.
Greatbow โจ Loose | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Stamina The projectile (usually an arrow) is drawn in the bow before being loosed at an enemy from a range. The range that the projectile can travel is twenty feet per level applied to this technique. The amount of stamina applied also determines how powerful the throwing weapon will be in a collision against enemy spells or techniques.
NAME: Jonathan Highwind ALIAS:Charon LEVEL: 1 AGE: 16 BIRTHDATE: June 2 GENDER: Male HANDEDNESS: right PERSONALITY: Jonathan is kind and caring to those he is close with. He is open to talking with people and show off his card tricks, but is super social when his favorite topics pops up. "He's a bit of a dork, but that's what's great about him" as Mickey puts it.
He's a bit more open to talking about his and Mickey's relationship and loves Mickey's parents. It's to the point Mickey swears he has actually developed his own form of spider-sense for finding out when they're near.
To those on the outside it seems like Jonathan has a strained relationship with his father, but it couldn't be further from the truth. Unless it's important, or they're around company, they often won't use direct speech.
In a fight Jonathan is the one who will read you like a book and tear you apart piece by piece. He likes to start small and gauge his opponents and see what they can do before he makes a move. As he puts it; "I hate surprises in fights."

BIOGRAPHY: Jonathan was fairly young when his mother died in a freak auto accident of which he survived. He was afraid his father would blame him for it, and for the first month he didn't say much to him. His father on the other hand was afraid Jonathan hated him for it was his idea to have Jonathan go to the doctor to get his arm checked after he fell down the stairs. This silent month put a strain on their relationship for a time. It got to a point where his father decided to use sticky notes with short messages around the house to communicate. The first was a simple "I love you bud".
This however worked out far better than anyone would have expected. Jonathan walked up to him, notes in hand, and broke down in his father's arms. Both of them cried for what felt like forever. Eventually the tears stopped and both hugged it out. This note idea sprung an idea in his father's head: cellphones! Many felt a kid at Jonathan's age was too young, but those closest to them felt it was a great idea.
As he grew a bit older they would often go to the local library to rent books, comics, and assorted manga. This reading habit went into a full blown obsession, one that often got him bullied at school. His father decided to teach him to defend himself and this was the only time they really spoke out loud. Jonathan quickly picked up on his father's lessons and swiftly kicked the asses of the kids at school. Of course this was frowned upon by the school, but after his father explained and promised Jonathan would never throw the first punch ever again, the school decided to only suspend him for 3 days.
Years later he would be accepted in to DWMA as a meister and met his first ever crush in combat class.

CLASS: Meister โจโจโจโจ Traditionalist โจ Meisters of this path are traditionalists who have an exceptionally strong wavelength with their Demon Weapon. Traditionalists gain two additional perks for the Soul Resonance skill. Can resonate with their partner at double the distance and one level higher. They are also able to perform Soul Resonance techniques at one level higher while wielding their Demon Weapon. While remaining loyal to one Demon Weapon partner, the meister gains one additional perk per level. ARCHETYPE:Magician โจโจโจโจ The Magician is the bearer of knowledge and has a slow soul wavelength that gradually picks up in pace. It is common for Magicians to be obsessive and ambitious. Witch magicians gain 50 additional points in mana for every level. Meister magicians gain 50 points in spirit for every level. Finally, Weapon magicians gain two additional perks in the polearms skill tree. They are given one point in Wisdom but lose one point in Dexterity. Magicians are highly compatible with sages. Soul Resonance โจ Resonance Barrier | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister channels the Soul Resonance energy outward, producing a visible barrier around their person and that of each other team member. The tier of this technique determines its strength, although the barrier will act one level higher in strength if the Soul Resonance includes three or more people.
โจ Resonance Wavelength | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit Even if the Meister is uninitiated in the art of fighting with a wavelength directly, experienced Soul Resonance Meisters are capable of channeling their wavelength and their partners' wavelength easily, producing a radial blast from their person that is twenty feet wide.
โจ Soul Piercer | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister weaponizes their resonating soul wavelength in a spear-like shape ahead of them. The spear of wavelength shoots out from their person up to fifty feet ahead.
โจ Witch Hunter | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit Named after the famed scythe Meister technique, this skill uses the same concept of sharply channeling resonating soul wavelength energy through the weapon to grow it in size and strength. The Meister is able to produce a basic attack or swing with this technique active, which will treat magic-based defenses and techniques one level lower in strength. Lasts for two posts.
Soul Perception โจ Clairvoyance I | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister expends their energy outward, using their mind's eye to detect souls within twenty feet. This technique can be augmented with perks that specify different types of information. There is no cooldown for this technique, but it only lasts for two posts.
โจ Body Check | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit The Meister expends their energy outward, augmented their physical vision with the power of their mind's eye. This permits them to analyze someone's body language and determine what kind of attack is about to come their way. This grants an unstackable resource reduction of one level to dodge or defend against. If in Soul Resonance or otherwise in telepathic communication with a teammate, the teammate receives a singular resource reduction to a dodge or defense if the Meister senses it. There is a three post cooldown for this technique and it only lasts for one post.
