So, I definitely plan on doing more parched, but . . . yeah, I'm weird.
Any thoughts? Too dark? I was thinking of doing the dark gasoline teal blocked, with a few bright gasoline teal bits here and there (though how well they'd really go with the spring green, I don't know.)
The seafoam was just going to be a backdrop, but i dunno, it might work well as a replacement for the bright gasoline teal.
Not gonna lie, I started down this road when I saw the accursed plus Byzantium combo yesterday (called ominous)
I was like, "Hey! I like Oasis, but what about gasoline!" (I mean there's Nico/radioactive, but they don't use dark gasoline teal)

I really like it. I love teals and really like the addition of the spring green.

Thanks! I am going to keep playing with the colors, probably try a few hack job mocks and maybe post them here before I commit to anything. biggrin
It might take a while to get anything made in the scheme even after that, though. (Savings, priorities, etc.)

Yeah getting new schemes off the ground is so pricey and takes lots of effort. I commend all your efforts.

I love the dark colors in this. The light green in it personally throws me off, but it is visually interesting.
Don't mean to rain on your parade, the important thing is that you're excited about it and enjoy it!

So, I like spring green, but after a while I wasn't too excited about what I did, so I made the following:
I think rust goes better with brick (it's not as vivid as the melon red), and taking out the spring green lets the bright gasoline teal really shine. I feel like it's missing something, like maybe a yellow, or mustard orange, or maybe just more bright gasoline teal, but does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? (what about seafoam? I could use that as a 'light' color instead of ivory)

Ooh, this is looking interesting. Have you considered going in the complete opposite direction and substituting the white for a dark color? No guarantees that it'll look good, my brain is just curious ahah.

Just tried it. Things look all right, but I'm not a super fan of eliminating either dark gasoline or brick. I'll need to upload the avis later, tho, since I'm on mobile

Maybe you read my response the other way around? I meant exchanging the white on the avatar for a dark color. Completely understandable if you want to stick with it though!

Oh, okay, yeah, I did mistake what you meant. And yes, I agree with you I eliminate the white on the avi in my head. I'm thinking that seafoam is going to make a good white replacement (goes with both the reds and the teals well.)
You know, I'm usually not that huge on mixing reds and greens, but you did an excellent job incorporating darker shades with the brighter ones. The dark red and spring green act almost as neutrals, so the whole thing works. (Also, what item are the cute hair flowers from?)

The hair flowers are from the chamomild item, spring version, but there are plenty of other colors
