▰ Primordial Armor | Rank S+ | Spiritual The user coats themselves in a veil of chakra that protects them from status effects caused by Ninjutsu, reducing those statuses by two ranks while absorbing 1/2 the chakra from Ninjutsu that effects it and storing it. When a ninjutsu is stored, it applies that status to physical interactions with the user that are applied by the Elemental Fury Technique. Additionally, opponents within twenty feet of the user that share a chakra nature with the user have their chakra siphoned to the user two ranks below the user's body rank and that is used to fuel the upkeep cost of this technique which is A Rank every three posts. Upon impacting a surface, the target takes one additional rank of fall damage than would typically be done if this attack is the finale in a combination Taijutsu attack.
▰ Crimson Hammer Shock [ Kōtsui Shōgeki ] | Rank B-S+| Simple The user counters a melee attack that targets them by using the back of their fist to strike the opponent's chest while evading the oncoming attack. This technique must be used at a minimum of the same rank as the technique they are evading. The force of the opponent's attack is turned against them with this strike, utilizing the same stat enhancements the opponent had for the attack into the user's attack.
▰ Infinite Limit Breaker [ Mugen Toppa ] | Rank B | Simple The user harnesses their physical vitality to manifest a dull red glowing aura around them as they use this energy to enhance their physical ability at the detriment of their endurance. While active, the user's Speed and Strength Cap are elevated by 2 points each while the endurance of the user is lowered by 4 points and cannot return to normal during that battle even once the transformation ends. In addition, the user's simple taijutsu techniques have after images that trail the user's movements and as a supplementary action replicate the taijutsu at 2 ranks lower, decreasing any status changes equally.
Stage Five
▰ Flowing Motion Stance [ Ryūdō no Kamae ] | Rank X | Stance The user assumes a relaxed posture with the knees slightly bent, arms hanging loosely at the side, appearing disengaged. However, this form allows the user to enhance their perception and focus to enter near unparalleled levels. While in this stance, all techniques from this style are able to be used as defensive counters, allowing the user to evade techniques by paying one rank above it's cost while acting offensively at the same time as a passive cost. Additionally, the user's techniques that give a specific movement range they can travel are increased by 5 feet per body rank of the user while in this stance. ▰ Name | Rank | Cost
▰▰▰ Description: The Amatsukaze no Ryū sword style originated during one of the most chaotic and violent periods in the history of the Land of Iron. Long before the unified governance of the current Shogunate, the Land of Iron was fractured, with five powerful clans vying for dominance. These great houses sought the title of Shogun, each amassing armies of samurai and shinobi to stake their claim. The resulting conflict turned the Land of Iron into a battlefield, ravaging the land and threatening to destroy the traditions of honor and discipline upon which its people prided themselves.
Amid this turmoil, a lone ronin named Ryoma Takamura appeared. A swordsman of unparalleled skill and mysterious origins, Ryoma carried no banner and claimed allegiance to no house. With a blade forged in simplicity and tempered by his own code of justice, he sought to end the bloodshed not through politics or persuasion but by sheer force of will and strength. He wandered the battlefield, cutting down the chaos without bias, his swordsmanship an artful storm of motion that became the foundation of the Amatsukaze no Ryū, the "Heavenly Wind Style."
The turning point came at the infamous Battle of Five Rivers, where the armies of all five great houses converged in what was meant to be the decisive clash for supremacy. As the battle began, Ryoma descended upon the field alone, his blade moving faster than the eye could follow. Within moments, he disarmed generals, disabled commanders, and shattered the morale of thousands with his mastery of speed, precision, and overwhelming presence. His strikes seemed to come from every direction, like an unstoppable tempest that left no room for retaliation. By the time the sun set, the five armies had stood down, awestruck and humbled by the ronin’s display of strength.
Ryoma Takamura made his intentions clear: he fought not to crown a victor but to force the clans to see the futility of their war. He demanded they negotiate peace and warned that any who sought to break this fragile truce would face his wrath. With no other choice, the five houses began talks, eventually agreeing to establish a unified Shogunate to ensure lasting stability. Ryoma refused any role in the new government, vanishing into obscurity shortly after, his name remembered only in legend.
The techniques of Amatsukaze no Ryū were later passed down through students who sought to emulate Ryoma’s principles. The style reflects the ronin’s belief that power should be used to end conflict, not perpetuate it. Its techniques, named after the elements of nature, focus on overwhelming speed, fluidity, and precision, mirroring the wind's ability to carve through mountains and extinguish flames. Practitioners of the style are reminded of Ryoma’s legacy: a swordsman whose strength transcended politics and whose blade brought peace to the Land of Iron, not through destruction but by compelling unity..

▰ Hayate Giri [ Gale Slash ] | Rank D-A | Simple A foundational Iaijutsu strike, the user draws and slashes in a single motion, aiming to disarm or incapacitate the opponent. When used in reaction to a bukijutsu technique, this technique is considered one rank higher during the collision and if it overpowers the opponent's attack, they must use an activation to pick it back up on their following post.
▰ Seiryū no Kamae [ Stance of the Azure Dragon ] | Rank D | Stance | Null The user adopts a low, balanced stance with the sword hand poised to draw their blade for any Iai based technique. ▰ Kaze no Issen [ Flash of the Wind ] | Rank D | Simple | Supplementary Once every other post, the user is able passively use this technique before or after a bukijutsu technique to move themselves up to twenty feet at shushin speeds without consuming a shushin activation. If this is done to evade a technique, the user must pay the cost of the technique instead of the original cost of this technique.
Stage Three
▰ Amatsukaze no Kamae [ Heavenly Wind Stance ] | Rank B | Stance | Null The stance is a low, balanced position with the user's weight evenly distributed across both legs, ensuring stability while allowing for sudden bursts of motion. The sword is held in the dominant hand, blade angled slightly downward in a ready position, while the non-dominant hand remains free to assist with balance, deflect attacks, or manipulate the environment as needed. Stage Four
▰ Tenshō Rekkazan [ Heaven's Rising Cleave] | Rank B | Simple The user dashes forward with unparalleled speed, aiming their blade upward at the opponent’s body. As they reach their target, the user channels their momentum into a powerful leap, driving the blade upward into the target with a forceful slash that propels both the user and their opponent into the air twenty feet in addition to any other bonuses the user gets for leaping. Opponents stricken by this technique are unable to use offensive techniques their following post and are stricken by tier three paralysis.
▰ Renkū Sōyaku [ Soaring Wind Leap ] | Rank B | Passive | Training The user channels their exceptional control over their body and kinetic force to perform gravity-defying feats of agility. This technique allows the user to leap incredible heights and distances, as well as execute a second jump mid-air, creating the illusion of floating momentarily. The user is able to mechanically leap 10 feet per body rank and negate fall damage of equal measure. When executing a bukijutsu technique that ends with them in the air, they are able to do a mid air leap.
▰ Kaze Taka [ Wind Falcon ] | Rank B | Simple From an elevated position in relation to the target, the user dives rapidly from their current height and preforms a slashing or thrusting attack at their target. Any fall damage that would be associated with the height of their drop is transferred to the target for this attack.
▰ Tenshō Rekkazan [ Sky-Cleaving Tempest Slash ] | Rank A | Simple While in mid-air, the user executes a mighty slash with such force that it creates a crescent blade projectile of their slashing action. Releasing this strong slash creates enough force to allow the user to execute an additional jump mid air.
Stage Five
▰ Kaze no Kiba [ Fang of the Wind ] | Rank A | Stance | Null Kaze no Kiba is a versatile stance which begins with the user holding their katana parallel to the ground and up near the shoulder with the tip of the blade supported by the non-dominant hand extended toward the tip of the blade to steady their aim. From this position, all thrusting techniques have their speed increased by 2 points and reduce an opponent's endurance by an 2 points when initiated from this stance.
▰ Kaze no Yari [ Spear of the Wind ] | Rank A | Simple A thrusting attack that is executed with explosive force. The user dashes forward up to 50 feet while reducing the target’s endurance stat by 1 point per body rank or the user. This technique adds the distance between the target and user to the attack as fall damage due to the high speed movement Additionally, this treats armor as two ranks lower, and defensive spiritual techniques as 1 rank lower.
▰ Shinku Sen [ Vacuum Piercing ] | Rank X | Spiritual The user channels chakra into the tip of their weapon while making a thrusting attack. When thrusting, the parent technique is able to cause an explosive burst of pressure that creates a vacuum from sheer impact. This focused vacuum allows the user’s weapon to pass through attacks of equal and lower rank to this technique while the thrusting attack continues unabated. This technique must be used equal to or greater than the technique it is breaking through.
▰ Kaze no Retsuzan [ Rending Wind Slash ] | Rank A | Simple Following the devastating thrust of Kaze no Yari, the user seamlessly transitions into a sweeping horizontal slash. ▰ Jū no Kamikaze [ Ten Divine Winds ] | Rank S+ | Simple The user moves at unmatched speeds, closing the distance between themselves and any target in their sights within the topic in an instant. If distance was established between the two previously in a post, that distance is calculated as fall damage toward the enemy due to the rapid action of the user. In an instant, the user unleashes a flurry of ten basic simple bukijutsu strikes. This technique requires all activations of an opponent's to defend, and consumes two of the user's to utilize. This technique treats armors and barriers as one rank lower, treating this technique as spiritual when interacting with spiritual barriers.
▰ Kaze no Ōgi: Amatsukaze [ Wind Secret Art: Heavenly Wind ] | Rank S+ | Simple The user draws their blade for an iai attack with godlike speed, gaining an increase of 3 points to their speed for the initial attack. The impact of the slash against a target creates a shockwave that ripples across the battlefield as the air from the area is pushed out from the force in a quickly forming vacuum, inflicting suffocation for the following post. All objects within fifty feet of the target are then drawn back to the origin of the vacuum as the user pivots immediately after their slash and executes a spinning horizontal slash that cuts through the vacuum. This secondary slash is unavoidable should the first one hit and deals separate damage at S Rank from the initial strike. The impact of the second strike sends the target and all objects effected by the vacuum flying up to 100 feet, adding fall damage to the immense attack.

▰▰▰ Description: The School of the Iron Will (Tetsugan no Ryū) was founded in the Land of Iron by the legendary samurai Hajime Kurogane, a warrior whose name became synonymous with resilience and unyielding strength. Unlike his famed rival, Ryoma Takamura, who founded the Amatsukaze no Ryū, a style built on speed, precision, and fluidity, Kurogane believed true mastery lay in unwavering defense and overpowering strikes that could shatter any opposition. The two warriors first crossed paths during the great conflict between the Five Great Houses of the Land of Iron, where Ryoma sought to end the war with a display of unmatched finesse, forcing negotiations through awe-inspiring swordsmanship. Kurogane, however, was a man of unshakable conviction and saw Ryoma’s approach as idealistic—he believed that strength alone could bring lasting peace. Their rivalry sparked a series of duels that shook the battlefield, each clash echoing like thunder across the war-torn land. Though neither man claimed victory over the other, their encounters left a profound impact on the samurai tradition, inspiring the development of two distinct schools of combat. Where Ryoma’s Amatsukaze no Ryū embodied the elegance of the wind, Kurogane’s Tetsugan no Ryū stood as an immovable fortress, representing the unyielding resolve of the mountains. Kurogane’s teachings emphasized the synergy between armor and blade, turning defense into offense and shattering opponents with devastating strikes fueled by sheer willpower. After the war, Kurogane retreated into the mountains, devoting his life to perfecting his art and teaching disciples who embodied his principles of endurance and might. While Ryoma’s techniques became renowned for their grace, Kurogane’s legacy endured as a testament to those who valued strength as the ultimate deterrent to conflict. Their rivalry remains legendary in the Land of Iron, with both schools standing as pillars of samurai tradition—one a gale, and the other an unbreakable wall against the storm.

Stage One
▰ Iron Bastion Stance [ Tetsujin no Kamae ] | Rank D | Stance | Null The user assumes a wide, stable stance with their blade held diagonally before them, emphasizing defensive posturing. While in this stance, the user's Strength and Endurance increase by 1 point, and incoming attacks are treated as one rank lower for collisions. Offensive actions from this stance gain an additional five feet of reach due to powerful extended strikes.
▰ Steel Cutter Strike [ Tetsuzan ] | Rank D-S | Simple A heavy downward slash meant to break through enemy defenses. Shields and weapons blocking this attack are treated as one tier lower in rank, cleaving through objects with less resources than the user's strike. Opponents stricken by this have an additional stack of bleeding applied per rank of the technique and have 1 post per body rank ( the target's body rank ) before they become unconscious due to blood loss.
▰ Iron Rebound [ Hagane Hanpatsu ] | Rank X | Simple Using the force of an opponent’s attack, allowing the user to counter physical simple attacks one rank above the rank of this technique, the user redirects momentum with a parry before countering with a quick riposte. Successful parries grant a supplementary simple bukijutsu attack for counterattacking immediately.
Stage Two
▰ Reverberating Strike [ Eikō no Ha ] | Rank C | Simple | Supplementary The user, learning to swing with heavy and overwhelming strikes targets the opponent's armor. Bukijutsu attacks with this supplementary action applied to them do not apply technique ranked damage at the foe, but rather apply it on the target's equipment and doubles the damage that equipment takes for that collision, shattering the gear if exceeding the damage threshold that armor reduces Trauma caused by Bukijutsu still occurs on the opponent as normal. If a foe blocks the user's attack supplemented by this technique, they suffer 2 points reduced agility and the limb used to block suffers Tier 1 paralyasis for one post.
▰ Earth-Shattering Cleave [ Jigoku Giri ] | Rank C | Simple A heavy, two-handed downward slash that strikes with enough force to split the earth. Slashing their blade downward, the force of their slash slices cleanly through the earth in a thirty foot line which creates a trench wide enough for a single target to fall in that is twenty feet deep. This technique treats defensive techniques and ninjutsu as one rank lower while defenses containing the earth element are treated as two ranks lower. Targets struck suffer an additional rank of trauma and additional stack of bleeding.
▰ Mountain Step [ Sanpo no Yari ] | Rank C | Simple The user moves forward in a sudden burst to close the distance to their opponent, treating the action as shushin speed. This sudden, powerful burst of heavy foot work creates a shallow crater beneath the user's foot that reaches five feet per body rank of the user. This powerful and sudden elevation change causes those within the crater's range to stumble toward the user giving an opening which allows the user to use their next attack as a supplementary action.
Stage Three
▰ Unbending Stance [ Kōtei no Kamae ] | Rank B | Stance | Null A defensive stance that amplifies endurance by 3 points. While in this stance, the user may defend against two attacks for one defensive action. Resources to block in this manner are increased by two ranks.
▰ Steel Tempest [ Tetsuken Arashi ] | Rank B | Simple The user delivers a horizontal slash with all their might, gaining a 2 point increase in strength for the duration of the strike. Upon striking an opponent's guard, the user slashes two more times with such force that a strong wind bursts around the two clashing forces. With the burst of force, objects with less than 6 strength are blown back thirty feet.
▰ Steel Gale Reprisal [ Hagane no Reppu ] | Rank X | Simple The user harnesses the weight and resilience of their samurai armor to execute a whirling slash that combines defense and offense in a devastating motion. This maneuver uses the armor’s reinforced plating to deflect attacks of it's own rank and lower while delivering another bukijutsu attack as a supplementary action.
Stage Four
▰ Iron Grip Bind [ Tetsu Kote Musubi ] | Rank B | Simple The user delivers a precise slash that targets an opponent's joints and ligaments in a specified limb, causing tier three paralyasis in that limb. In addition, once the limb has recovered it's mobility, the injury has lingering tier two trauma that requires medical ninjutsu or treatment at a Hospital.
▰ Warden’s Cage [ Kago no Taten ] | Rank A | Simple The user strikes the ground with their blade, releasing a burst of force that causes the terrain to fracture and collapse in a fifty foot area centered on the location of the strike. Opponents caught in the area are forced into unstable footing, reducing their speed and agility by 2 points. Techniques that require movement or footwork are one rank weaker when executed from this terrain. Additionally, opponents moving within the effected area must utilize an additional activation for each 10 feet they move within the area.
▰ Crumbling Fortress Strike [ Hōkai Tate Giri ] | Rank A | Simple The user delivers a series of three slashes that hit from opposite angles in lightning fast succession. These powerful rapid blows create deep wounds with lasting trauma in the foe. These slashes cause Tier 4 trauma that persists one post longer than typical trauma. Due to the pain, chakra control is much harder to maintain, causing chakra based techniques to require an additional rank of resources. This effect persists until the trauma from this attack is cured.
Stage Five
▰ Resolute Wall [ Fujō Tate ] | Rank A | Passive While this passive is active, the user may remain unmoved by knockback effects up to their body rank. Additionally, the user reduces fall damage by one rank when an attack initiates the fall damage as part of it's effect.
▰ Spirit of the Iron Tyrant [ Tetsu no Kyoufu ] | Rank X | Spiritual The user focuses their killing intent and channels their unbreakable will into their blade, imbuing it with a manifestation of their fighting spirit and projecting it on the opponent they're facing. One target may be effected at E Rank, and an additional target at B rank and two targets at S+ Rank. Those experiencing the user's spirit have 1 point of agility reduced per rank of the technique and experience tiered paralysis in both legs, commonly causing those weaker to fall to their knees.
▰ Ironclad Avalanche [ Tekkajin no Nadare ] | Rank B-S+ | Simple The user dashes forward, consuming a shushin usage to evade incoming techniques while countering with a full speed shoulder charge. The user buries their shoulder into the opponent's chest with a mighty impact. The impact causes suffocation for two posts and reduces the opponent's strength and endurance by 2 points at B rank and an additional point for each rank above that.
Stage Six
▰ Wrath of the Immovable [ Fudō no Gekirin ] | Rank S+ | Simple The user channels their spirit as they would with the Spirit of the Iron Tyrant technique, only they turn that indomitable force inward, putting mind over matter as they transcend their physical limitations. By force of will their muscles are enhanced and optimized through application physical energy. For the next three posts they achieve the power of the Sixth Gate, elevating Strength and Endurance to 12. Instead of deflecting B Rank and lower ninjutsu as the 6th gate would do, this technique creates a dreadful pressure that keeps the Spirit of the Iron Tyrant active at B Rank.
▰ Immovable Sacred Flash [ Fudō no Seisen ] | S+ Rank | Simple In a single stroke generated with both hands on the blade, the user slashes once. From the slashing motion the sheer strength partnered with peerless form allows the user to create a crescent shaped projectile that is approximately twenty feet in length composed of air pressure propelled by kinetic force, cutting down objects without chakra with ease as it travels up to one hundred feet. This projectile is treated as spiritual during collisions, treating defensive techniques as two ranks lower, allowing the attack to continue through and strike the target still. Those impacted by the Sacred Flash are only able to use 1 offensive and 1 defensive activation for the following two posts. This may be treated early if the trauma caused by this technique is cured.
▰ Immovable Shield [ Fudō no Tate ] | S+ Rank | Training The user's battle instincts have elevated their effective use of their armor, allowing them to shift small increments that deflect damage more efficiently. Once every three posts, the user's armor can withstand a single blow that does not exceed it's maximum durability for free.
