As you walk through the portrait you feast your eyes apon a beautiful, charming, yellow room.
The walls are charmed to shimmer yellow. The carpet is white, with yellow stars spread randomly on it.
The sofa is a wild yellow leather, with white glittering stars. It is placed a few feet in front of a glowing fire. Beside the fire are two white squishy chairs.
Two white, maple desks are place on either side of the back wall. Star candles on each. A book shelf next to them. The chairs are also white, with a large star on the bottom.

prances in and sets Blob down. Will he talk to the green piece of gak? Yes! "Blob! I met this guy today!" the green blob seems to react. What kind of creature is this?

Topaz wanders into the common room and looks around. "I guess I'd better find a place to sleep." Dragging her bag, she slowly makes her way to the girls' dorms.

Yolanda glanced at the peice of paper she held in her hand. The messy handwriting was just barely readable. "That is the password?! Oh well!" She shrugged and recited the password. She cautiously walked through the portrait, not knowing what to expect.
She took one look at the common room and knew she'd feel right at home! "Good Day! How is everyone?" She happily said to those who were there, "Could one of you please point me to the Girls' rooms please? I've just arrived and don't know my way around yet."

While most of the couches and armchairs were empty and unsat in, the squashiest and biggest white armchair that was closest to the fire was occupied. A girl with short brown hair lay in the chair, her legs over one of the arms, her head face up, an arm lay over her head in a dramatic gesture. Her other arm was over her stomach. Her mouth was slightly open, and every once in a while she would twitch.
The girl was dressed in muggle clothing. A moss green baggy sweatshirt that covered her hands, and denim flare jeans that were also baggy and went well over her feet. Though the jeans covered her feet, one could see if they looked close enough that she was not wearing socks. And though her eyes were closed, her grey eyes still sparkled behind her eyelids.
The girl's name was Abigail Tomato, and though she didn't mind if people made fun of her last name, she would get pissed if anyone called her Abigail, for she always insisted people call her Abby, or even Ab. She was twelve years old, and a shaman.

((YAY! It's another Hufflepuff!! Welcome! 3nodding ))
Yolanda noticed the girl as she was about to go up to her dorm to study but deicde that she'd definatly rather make a new friend. She walked over to the girl and plopped down in a chair beside her. "Hiya!" She stated cheerfully, "I'm Yolanda. Who are you?"

Topaz stretched as she woke up in a chair beside the fireplace. She had been reading a history book, and dozed off. The girls' chatter had woken her up. Topaz sat up, and looked at her fellow Hufflepuffs.
"Hello!" she said, yawning. "I'm Topaz. It's nice to see some Hufflepuffs around here."

Yolanda noticed Topaz had awoken and immediently introduced herself. "Hi Topaz! I'm Yolanda! It's nice to meet you too!" Yolanda tucked a strand of hair behind her ear then held out her hand to shake with her fellow Hufflepuff.
((YAY! Another Hufflepuff!))

Topaz shook hands with Yolanda. "So, are you trying out for Quidditch?" she asked, deciding to start up a conversation with the girl. She seemed nice enough, and Topaz was a little... suspicious of people at times.
((We need more Hufflepuffs....but it's nice that people are starting to post))

Abby's head shot up, her grey eyes open but looking unseeingly at Yolanda and Topaz. "'M not asleep..." she mumbled, and blinked a couple times. And then realization struck, and she moved as quickly as she could (which was pretty slow due to low blood pressure) into a sitting position.
"Ah! Gomen...I'm a bit tired. I'm Abby Tomato," she said sleepily, and blinked again, rubbing her eyes with her sweatshirt sleeve. "Quidditch? Uh...yeah, I'm going to try out..." she mumbled, and then yawned loudly. She covered her mouth with her sleeve, and grinned sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her neck with the sleeve.

Yolanda light up at the mention of quiditch. She couldn't help it, it was in her blood! "Quiditch? Absolutly! I'm trying out for Keeper but I'm also good at Seeker. How about you?"
She noticed that the other girl had also woken up. "I'm Yolanda. It's nice to meet you abby!"
