____________________________________________________

The garage is dim, half-submerged in standing water. Rust flakes drift like red snow through stale air. Stripped cables and scavenged consoles hum from the walls, fed by stolen generator current. A flickering hologram projector — Unbroken-era surplus, cracked at the edges — spits out a looping waveform. A single, desperate ping. A signal too faint to trace. But real.

Overturned crates serve as seating. The Owls are gone. Timber's fall broke them. The Raider lost. Their cell dissolved. Only three remained: Zone, Yukiko, and Eren.

Zone hadn’t changed clothes in days. His coat was waterlogged. The rings under his eyes had rings of their own. But his hands moved steady as he tuned the console — one last thread to follow.

We finally got something.” His voice cracked, then steadied. “Low-band. Fragmented. Not enough for location, but enough to know it’s her. Robin. Two pings, buried in the static. That hammer-head genius of hers somehow got through twice.

He turned the cracked datapad toward them. The signal jittered across the waveform like a heartbeat on the edge of death.

Deling vicinity. Best I can tell. Galbadia’s anti-magic stabilizers are throwing interference across half the southern grid. But if we drop one? Just one? The loop opens. I can triangulate — breach their uplink. Pull something out of the static. Maybe even her.

Zone leaned back, eyes hollow but fire-lit.

She fought for them. Bled for them. Got captured on a mission they gave her. And Unita left her. Winhill pretends she never existed. Esthar’s too busy bleeding from its own gut to care.

A flicker of red pulsed across the stabilizer's projected blueprint.
He tapped the glass — hard.

They're hiding something behind that field. Something worth the blackout. You want to talk about contracts? You want to talk about purpose? Robin’s still in the dark because the world let her disappear.

He turned to them both — but the words hung in the air, maybe heavier than even he meant.

I know it’s risky. Maybe even suicide. I don’t know what we’d do if that freak shows up again. But we’re out of time, and out of people. We don’t hit back now? This whole resistance ends with a whimper.

The silence that followed wasn’t permission. It was pressure.

In the corner, a tarp shifted. Beneath it, a faint green glow — unstable crystal, modified canisters, half-soldered field hardware. Nothing Zone could explain. Nothing he volunteered.

But everything he needed.

Yukiko Rieko

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═✥═━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

Yukiko being the most mechanically savy when it came to the group was already all over the room once they had time to rest and settle down. There was very little one could do with a half-flooded room, but she managed to make it work, diverting power to more efficient areas and giving them more power to work with than they originally did. It was a small improvement, taking out scrap parts and searching around the room, taking broken machines apart to take pieces from them and rearranging different wires, bolts, and jerry-rigging it to work to their favors.

After a few days had passed, Yukiko was left wondering what exactly they were going to do now? Although they had succeeded in getting the remnants of the resistance out, there wasn't much to save as it appeared to be. She wondered how they managed to figure out their plan so quickly? It was all so coordinated that it made her ponder over the events. She gently clutched the side of her body, recalling getting stabbed unpleasantly by that strange shark-toothed girl. She was a good fighter, an expert in combat, but also, rough around the edges. They were of similar level, and with Mai and Raeka being there, it had BIE written all over it. How were they getting their information? Was their a traitor in the group? Or did they have other means of gathering intel that they weren't aware about?

Frustration brewed in her mind as she worked on the machines, doing what she could to keep the place running while a plan seemed to be brewing from Zone. Listening to him talk about Robin, and how it was up to them to save her while the rest of the world abandoned her, she did agree that getting Robin was a vital part of success. She was their best heavy hitter, and most experienced member. With nothing else to go off of, and Robin having been on the other side, she could only trust that Zone had some kind of plan, even if it was suicide to go back.

"What's the plan then? We don't got a lot of time to sit around and wait." She asked him, since the risk of going right back into Galbadia's territory was indeed just asking for more trouble. Ideally they weren't going to squander Robin's sacrifice to help them escape by running directly back into the enemy's hands.

Eren was beyond angry. Beyond bitter.

The normally loud mouth debutante had not spoken nary a word to most beyond grunts as he had healed from his own injuries, wrapped his ribs and new scars formulating on the outer rims of his face from the confrontation with that damned sorcerer mutant. Whatever the damnable hells he was, Eren was once more caught unawares due to the various advantages that the being formerly known as Raeka was, and once more he had been on the receiving end of the unfortunate consequences that were to follow.

Clanging of hammers, the sound of welding equipment, and more were all that could be heard from parts of the garage. The mission had come with a price, everything had been thrown into disarray, and Robin had been caught to save not only his skin, but Yukiko's as well. They would know who she was, and all they would do was try and wring the information from her, despite her infamous stubborn nature. That did not mean that she was infallible and unbreakable...just for the moment, Unbroken. This had only further exacerbated the pink haired pugilist, knowing that if he had been taken instead of Robin, there would have at least been a sense on anonymity as Eren Kyng was certainly not known on any level comparable to Robin. The thought only caused his gauntlet laden fist to clench as he punched the remains of an engine he had gutted, sending it careening into the wall.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Letting loose a sigh, the man took a moment to sit and take a drag from a cigarette he had swiped from someone's remnants of a locker. Not normally a smoker, and lord knows he'd rather Rem not know he was partaking in the nasty habit, the moment gave him a sense of clarity as he looked down at the work he had been assembling with what the Owls and Unbroken technology had left for him in the vicinity. The bandaging of his ribs and his face crinkled at the grim, but satisified smile that developed on his face. Robin's hammer had instilled a sense of creativity on his maniacal brain. The rocket propulsion was perfect for her sense of destruction and certainly helped deliver a faster sense of destruction that his slower state simply could not deliver efficiently without the use of time magic. It was rough, but the creation that lay before him was at least a temporary solution to that lack of speed, at least until he could get his hands on more modern technological pieces to make it more modern.

Ashing the cigarette, he took another slow drag before closing his eyes, clasping his hands on the boot accessory as gently as one would a newborn. Hopefully, this little piece of innovation would help them with whatever happened next, and watching Zone when Eren wasn't tinkering in this garage in his own trance of work, he figured that the rebel was finding where Robin was, if possible. All of them were exhausted in their own way, Yukiko had been left to her own devices, working on machines on her own doing whatever it was that she needed to do. The girl was the one connection he had back to Unita, to a semblence of normalcy, to the red headed woman that he kind of wished was there with him at the moment. For all that he had been working on, the man felt only like a loser after the mission had ended the way it had. If anything, Rem Nipal would have helped ease those hanging thoughts, but she was off doing whatever it was she was doing...leaving him with the weight of failure that he had to carry.

Finishing the cigarette, he applied the boosters to his boots, grunting as he squeezed the pieces into place, a metal frame covering his toes to give a steel toe esque surface to the top of his foot. It was simple, but tested to activate with his foot curling and striking a panel on the top of either side, specifically when he was throwing a kick or needed a momentary sense of propulsion. Not really rocket boots, yet, but they were capable enough of force to move him efficiently side to side or forward or even reverse to dodge the errant fast strike. All Eren could think about in that moment was Raeka's strikes.

The b*****d.

Adjusting his gauntlets, he stretched and stood, lurching over toward where Yukiko and Zone had met up and had begun discussing the next steps. His eyes were narrowed and his brow furrowed as he listened, agreeing with things said but also... "We all knew wha' the situation was gun be Zone. We knew wha' woul happen if we were caught. We're a black ops team in name and status, 'ven if we ain't that high o' caliber." His voice was rough, gaunt, from the smoking, lack of sleep, and pain medication he had been taking to deal with the aches as well as keep himself focused on fixing anything they might need in their rudimentary last stand. "Risky don' even cover it. Suicide is laughable, as if they won' try and capture us and ring the truth they won' ge out of Rob." Eren took a seat and clenched his fists, "Bu' we gotta do sumthin...and this time we go' the element of surprise they had on us, ya dig? We gotta make it count. 'f we get Rob out, that makes the grand escape more efficient...more damagin'... 'specially to the Galbadian's douchey rep, if ya catch muh drift."

Eren lit the last cigarette, inhaling to calm his own fluxuating nerves.

"Par' of me wants to go back to Unita and recoup...bu' we can't leave Rob there. We got ta do our part, I think...no reinforcements gon' make this a b***h and a half to pull off. Surprise's our bes' weapon."

Zone leaned forward over the console, the faint green glow from beneath the tarp throwing jagged shadows across his face. His voice carried the sharp, brittle edge of someone who’d spent the last seventy-two hours thinking about one problem and one problem only. “Here’s how it works. Galbadian stabilizer grid around Deling — it’s tight, overlapping coverage. Redundant. You take one out, they don’t lose much coverage… unless you take this one.” He tapped the flickering map projected from the battered holopad. A stabilizer node blinked crimson, just outside the city perimeter. “It’s the corner stone for the southern arc. Knock it offline, you open a forty-eight second comms window before the auto-reroute kicks in.

He zoomed in, the map shifting to troop deployments, motor pool sites, and patrol routes. “Based on rotation schedules and the last three weeks of convoy logs, I can guarantee a six-minute lag in their quick-response teams. First four minutes is nothing but perimeter scouts. Light armor, no air. After that, they’ll scramble fast-reaction APCs from the east barracks — ten-minute ETA, best case. We don’t need ten.” The datapad’s glow lit his eyes as he looked between Yukiko and Eren. “We pop the node, interference drops. That gives me a clean line to triangulate the last two pings Robin got through. She’s smart — she left them far enough apart in time that I can cross-reference and get a hard location. But I need the loop open, or she stays buried.

He didn’t mention the tarp, not directly, but his hand rested on it for a second. “Charges are ready. Timed. Shaped to kick the field inward, not just blow the frame. We get in, plant the charges, pull back, and keep the perimeter scouts busy while I work the trace.” Zone’s tone was confident now, almost too confident — rattling off predicted force counts, fallback routes, and civilian traffic patterns like he was planning a bank job instead of detonating a Echo stabilizer. The word “Echo” never left his mouth. In his head, it was all mechanics: cut the signal, run the trace, grab Robin's coordinates.

He paused, leaning back in the chair, voice dipping low enough to make them both lean in to hear it. “If I get the trace, we’ll have her. If we can’t pull her out right there, we’ll have the map to where she is. The way in, the guard rotations, the weak points. The next job won’t be a blind suicide run — it’ll be a strike. For her. For the Resistance, for SeeD.” His jaw tightened, but there was a faint glint of something in his eyes that hadn’t been there since Timber fell.

Maybe it keeps us going another week. Maybe a month. But it’s something. And right now… something’s enough to keep this fight breathing. So, you two are all that are left.” He tapped the screen of the pad, and the door of the garage squealed as it slowly opened. "If you're in, get in." It sounded triumphant despite the rusted over, beaten up four wheeled sun faded once red car was revealed in the sunlight.

The old asphalt road had crumbled into loose gravel, which in turn vanished under a swaying curtain of waist-high weeds. Zone crouched low, slipping under a section of chainlink where the rust had eaten the metal thin. The treeline opened, giving a direct view of the Southern Arc Stabilizer — and up close, it looked less like a power relay and more like a fortress built around a single, alien machine.

The stabilizer itself was a massive vertical ring — easily five stories tall — wrapped in a lattice of alloy struts that arched upward like ribs. Thick cables as wide as tree trunks fed into its base, disappearing into a solid concrete drum the size of a city block. Every few seconds, a faint pulse of green light ran along the struts, shooting skyward and distorting the air above like heat haze on asphalt.

A narrow service road circled the entire compound. The outermost layer of security was light — Galbadian MPs in standard gear, two-man patrols moving along the fence line in predictable, fifteen-minute sweeps. The fence itself was topped with sensor arrays rather than barbed wire, suggesting detection mattered more than deterrence. Zone pointed toward the southeast side.

See that dip in the terrain coverage? Observation is weakest on that ridge. That’s our best way in.

To the west of the compound sat a corrugated steel vehicle shed, open on one side. Inside were two light APCs and a single Guardian Force Buster in its maintenance cradle — its armored frame crouched like a predator at rest. Zone didn’t linger on it, but his voice tightened. “They’re slow to get moving, but if one of those boots up while we’re here, we’re in trouble.

Inside the fence, the tone of the defenses changed. An inner barricade — concrete and reinforced steel — formed a ring much closer to the stabilizer’s base. Patrols here wore matte-black armor without insignia, full visor masks, and moved in tight formation. Zone didn’t say the name “B.I.E.,” but the distaste in his tone gave it away. “These guys aren’t on any deployment logs. They don’t leave this place.

The base of the stabilizer was a mix of armored plating and massive cooling vents, each vent flanked by a security choke point — short corridors with heavy doors and overlapping fields of fire. Beyond them, Zone guessed, would be the main elevator shaft leading into the stabilizer’s interior. The whole layout screamed containment — every line of defense pointing inward, not outward.

Charges go here, here, and here,” Zone said, tracing a triangle around the stabilizer’s lower armor plates. “They’re shaped to blow in, not out. Once the last one’s set, we’ll have less than six minutes before their off-site APCs gets moving — four if they’re fast. We only need two to finish the trace before their inner teams finish mobilizing.”

A low metallic groan rolled out from somewhere deep within the stabilizer’s drum — a sound like metal under too much strain. Zone didn’t break stride in his explanation. “We get that trace, we find Robin. If we can’t pull her out tonight, we’ll know exactly where she is. Next run won’t be a blind gamble. It’ll be a hit they won’t see coming.

Yukiko Rieko

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═✥═━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

The trip there had been entirely focused on making demo charges and mines for the group, necessary in the case of escape and fleeing from vehicles. She had no idea if the plan would go smoothly, but giving everyone the chance to get away without harm was necessary. Each person was given 4 sets of demo charges, grenades, and mines; Yukiko practically meshing together materials with her special mix capabilities. She was working overtime for them, practically sweating as she was putting in all the effort she could to give each person what they needed for the job.

Once they were moving out, taking quick strides, Yukiko passed off the gear to each person, prepared for the mission as she listened to Zone's plan. With her weapons loaded, blades sharpened, and gear set she was all the more ready to get into the zone of combat, but she had been functioning on sleepless work. When Zone put out the map, she took a second to reach into her pack, pulling out a shot and injecting herself with it, letting out a sharp breath as she focused herself for battle. "Hah..... Okay..." She let out a sigh of relief, sounding active, awake. Her heartrate was increasing as she felt the rush of exhileration hitting her brain and then clamness. She was ready to fight.

"Alright. Everything is set then. This is going to be the most intense thing I've done yet in my life, and I've fought monsters all my life.... hahahaha..." She laughed almost in disbelief, sounding a bit breathless in some bits, but it was mostly out of sheer perspective in what they were doing. It felt invigorating, like something was scratching something inside that she never knew she had. "I'm ready to move when you two are. Do you need me to stock potions for you two before we make our moves? Last chance to gear up." She offered to them.

Eren's face had been solid stone as Zone spoke, and even as they had gotten back into the car to drive off to this new errant mission. In fact, his hands were gripped in his gauntlets, his boots clinging to the moving vehicle surface. How he wished that he was just how he was a month or so prior, more relaxed and willing to be the punchline for others but now, Robin was gone and his pride had been wounded too many times. The surprisingly maniacal brain of his was working overtime, thinking around possibilities to boost his combat prowess and utility, the modifications to his footwear being only the first of many things he had already begun designing further in his head.

The main goal at the moment though, was what he was focused on. Robin wasn't here, and Yukiko was certainly multitalented but it meant that Eren would have to take on the demolition and muscle side of the equation. It was also why he had been so frenetically and diligently working on the new addition to his boots, testing and working with what he had to fine tune the new equipment so it would be as reliable as it could be for the moment. If and when he could get back to UNITA or Esthar, there was more leeway to make them more viable and fine tune them.

If only I had Ma and Pa's equipment... the bitter thought ran through his head, the facilities of Kyng Industries locked under key and gathering dust. Sold to contractors to fund the Unbroken, but the contractors themselves were decimated in the attacks on Fisherman's Horizon. It all lay, incrementally gaining dust and hiding secrets in the heart of Esthar...somewhere. Eren could not remember where his parents built the secret facilities. No use thinking about it now, though.

"Yukiko, you're faster and stealthier than I'll ever be." His voice was plain, pointed, and had more clarity than he'd had in his life, "So I'll hafta play Robbo since she's indisposed. Get in, blow the mainframe, give me da signal and I'll start givin' em all hell." His grip somehow tightened further, "Golem 'n I'll give you an out. Just give us support when ya find your way, kay? I coul' use potions and whateva ya got to reduce damage 'n make me a bit quicka."

The Trabian SeeD’s stim-injection hissed like a rattlesnake, and Zone felt his guts turn over. He’d seen Yukiko run missions before — enough explosives strapped to her belt to blow through half of Deling’s perimeter. Every time it reminded him how far out of his depth he really was. Monster hunters, demolitions freaks, sorceresses… and then there was him. Just Zone. The Owl who’d never grown claws.

He tightened the strap on his scavenged rifle. A gun that didn’t quite fit his shoulder, a satchel rattling with firebombs he had no confidence in. A far cry from the dream of Timber’s freedom fighter. Yukiko asked if he had potions ready, and he forced a sharp nod of his head. “I came prepared.” The words came out harder than he intended, almost convincing, but he couldn’t bring himself to meet her eyes.

When Eren started outlining the battle plan, Zone caught himself staring. These two could probably do it without him. Maybe that was the best plan. “If you think you can do this without me, I can keep sentry,” he muttered quickly, eyes flicking back toward the perimeter lights. “Track patrols. Call signs. Distractions if you need them.” His voice steadied at the end, as if volunteering for the sidelines made him braver.

He’d always been the man behind the glass, the planner in the shadows. Never the one to throw grenades and charge barricades. But this was Deling, and Robin’s signal was still pulsing faint and broken on their boards. He knew if the SeeD didn’t pull him along, he’d default to the only role he knew — the frightened strategist trying to look like a leader.

And it showed.

Yukiko Rieko

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━═✥═━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

With Eren and Zone both designating themselves for the roles, Yukiko nodded in agreement with Eren's plan, though she peered over to Zone who appeared to be needing more guidance now that he had brought everyone here. She reached into her satchel, pulling out what appeared to be a three earth gems. "Throw this at the enemy if you feel like you need a distraction to get out of danger. It'll cause a quake around them, which should give you enough time to run while they try to regain balance" She said before looking to Zone and handing him three wind gems. "These should help you get out as well, if you get spotted, toss and a small tornado will form." She offered before looking towards the building. "Any idea what floor I'll need to get to in order to find the trace, or just smash in and try to find it to the best of my ability?" She asked, looking to Zone. All things considered, she was as ready as she was ever going to be for this, but she also couldn't help but look at the shotty rifle he had. Did that thing even fire? Well, she hoped for his sake it did. He had his own grenades and C4 after all. "We should also make sure to plant explosives on these trees here, for when we make our escape out. Block their path, gives us extra time to get away." She marked on the map, next to where their vehicle was parked, clearly marking a spot where Zone could place each charge of C4 for them before they made their escape.

"Yukiko."

He nodded his head and stood, ready to begin. "Think you can also make a quick stop, 'n plant some explosives on the APCs...maybe blow up the Buster or steal it?" He was ready, reaching out to Yukiko with a hand for some medicine to help just in case, be they potions or distracting grenades. "I could use all the help. Gonna be dealin' with a lot of ********. Zone, you just play surprise support, once ya get the trackin', swing by in the vehicle 'n come get us. I'll make sure we ge' where we goin'. Zone blinked between the two of them, the 'big damn heroes' energy radiating off Yukiko and Eren leaving him feeling like a guy holding a squirt gun at a warzone. He shuffled the gems Yukiko shoved into his hands, nodding like he understood even though the words 'tornado' and 'quake' sounded way above his pay grade. “Right, earth for ground rumble, wind for… uh… yeeting myself out of trouble. Got it. Totally got it.

He stuffed the crystals into the battered webbing on his vest, then patted the side of his Frankenstein rifle with the kind of confidence that didn’t convince even him. Zone thought for a moment, muttering a prayer before he took out his own demolition charges, handing them to Yukiko. "Special order for this mission. You just need to set these things and bring the whole damn thing down, I can get the trace once that building stops putting out interference."

The man didn't explain the difference in the makeshift explosives that were obviously wired with strange para-magic crystals. After that he didn't wait to give her a chance to ask any questions about it, moving off towards the trees she indicated to prepare explosives for their exit. He would be ready to track the trace and drive in on their escape vehicle. All he had to do was stay out of trouble until then.

Yukiko turned to nod to Eren, giving him a thumbs up. "Sure thing. I'll see what I can do to limit the amount of vehicles that get in your way. Valigarmanda should be ready to also carpet bomb the area if you need it. Once the fireworks start going off, subtlety is out the window." She gave a small laugh, despite the tense serious situation. Only a Trabian could find humor in this moment. She tossed Eren a couple smoke grenades just in case. "You'll need to have some decent cover when the bullets start coming your way." She said before she gave him a peace sign and ran off towards the complex, taking a low hunched position as she began to maneuver through the woods to get closer to the fence. She'd position herself just out of sight of all the lights, waiting for the right moment for Eren to give her the distraction she needed to break through the complex and get moving.

Eren scoffed at the smoke grenades that Yukiko gave him, but his eyes flashed with a light, almost of a morbid kind, as he smiled at her. "Bullet's ain' s**t, girlie. I fear the sharp words o' a beautiful red head more 'n that. Haste." The spell flowered over him, enhancing his movements with the slight puff of his new propel boots with a sense of levity that most would take for granted. But not Eren Kyng.

HIs gauntlets closed, squeezing tightly while moving to get out of the vehicle. His kinetic energy based boots were functioning, the gauntlets were primed, and an energy overtook Eren. It was volatile, hostile, and powerful. The look on his face was swept over with a sort of vitriolic mirth that emitted a level of killing intent that most of these casual soldiers he would be upon soon had no idea about and had never faced before. Magical energy started to pour from him as he launched two smoke grenades into the air, landing amongst the soldiers and exploding in a thick cloud of iridescent smoke; the earth beginning to quake and a powerful shining green emanated from the solid earth beneath them.

A cracking sound, a shriek like a siren as the Earth exploded from underneath the group of soldiers who would most likely be coughing up from the smoke and trying to find their way out. You wanted a distraction? They had asked, and received, one of the most willingly loud, obnoxious, stubborn, and tough as nails ******** in all of the world who was more than pissed off at being beaten by a silver haired b*****d twice. This was the perfect man, as giant black, onyx hands came careening out of the crack in the earth promptly, smashing into any foolish soldiers that dared to not move as fast as possible from the fissure in the earth into a fine tomato paste. The pink stubble haired man came charging in, not a with a yell, but a careening shotgun dropkick at a soldier who was dazed, launching the poor man into a swinging hand of the monolith that rose from the era, the Golem. The hand swung into the launched man, launching him others like a bowling ball; coming to a stand and letting loose a loud and aged moan that rumbled in the chests of any man.

The pink stubbled man came to a stand and raised his hands, gauntlets making a mechanical sound as they came to a close.

The Dreadnaught and the Golem, now of UNITA was unleashed.

There was a couple of moments after Haste was cast in which the Galbadian forces began to hustle. Like someone had upset the ant hive. When the smoke began to flow out of the capsules the Soldiers seemed less off guard than expected. Though why that was, was as of yet unknown. Goons like this shouldn't be this prepared for trouble, especially from trouble the caliber of a SeeD.

'Aero'. A gentle voice in the distance, over the rumbling crackle of Golem being summoned it was practically impossible to be heard, but the smoke was cleared almost as fast as it had been generated. Soldiers were scrambling, though the earth splitting beneath it made it difficult to move, stumbling as everything beneath them shook. Even as the chaos broke out, as Eren and Golem made their erratic entrance, the alarm had begun to ring and those outside of the immediate area seemed to be operating with practiced expectation.

However the concern of those playing more immediate observation, it looked more they were preparing more to dig in than simply counter attack.

The answer as to why they didn't seem to be mobilizing to bring down Golem or The Dreadnaught seemed simple. They had their own. Galbadian SeeD known as the breaker, standing at a nice six foot four, the dark haired man stood even taller than Eren, or Robin, taller than any of the heavy hitters that even Unbroken had. The man stepped into the arena of carnage, his bulkier armor seeming to actively portray what he was; a line smasher. A problem maker. The loud, smashy type. His weapons, which seemed to be a gunaxe and heavy gauntlets only emphasized this.

"Hey, Pinky! Congrats on getting your own dossier, it's not many insurgents who get to live long enough for that award." Not anymore. Not after Timber. A snap shot of the man's armor seemed to emphasize that, scrawled kill tallies being etched into his armor, accompanied by some crass jokes in white paint. 'The first time isn't a war crime' was one of the larger ones written across him. He looked more like a mercurial warband member than a actual SeeD. Galbadia usually made their members keep tightly to the polished uniform and lack of independence thing.

As the man swaggered out, Eren would have felt a oddly familiar rumbling, before a large Guardian Force matching Golem's size and stature erupted from the ground from a split second fissure. What would the Dreadnaught and the Golem of UNITA do, faced with The Breaker and the Titan of GALBADIA. He raised a gauntleted fist, where one would see 'If ur readin this ur dead.' scrawled on it. "You smell like me, like bad decisions Pal. You wanna get a beer before or after you lose your teeth?"

Cosmic Magic Shooter

Well this was not what Eren had in mind.

His fists were clenched, the gauntlets mechanically clicking and shifting seemlessly as he looked around. Golem shimmered in green as it came to a dull stand, humming at the combative environment and throwing whatever vehicles were around them with the force of his appearance, the ground cracked and frayed with man and vehicle sent splayed across the battleground. You’d think that this would be a cause for the alarm, having men rushing at him with guns and weapons blazing, sirens filling the air like a kaiju had come crashing onto the battlefield to rip and tear the complex asunder. Instead, the soldiers were far too calm, far too measured as they backed away and did not engage in the fight that Eren desired to give. There was really only one reasoning for this, and it was concerning at best to the punk pink pugilist. It gave more reasoning to hope that they did not find Yukiko, who in the instance would hopefully slip through the defenses and do what she had to.

He hoped. Because they knew that Eren was coming.

The oncoming sounds of heavy footsteps caused the electrical senses of Eren’s self preservation kicked in, turning abruptly towards the sound and figure that swept away the smoke with a simple aero spell. This was not a soldier. This was a SeeD.

A big ******** at that, large silhouette alone emitting an aura of intimidation, black hair silhouetting the newcomers face with chiseled armor. A kill count. Eren heard rumblings of this guy, a Galbadian force akin to himself or Robin. Robin was shorter but Eren did not know this man’s rank or prestige beyond his presence and reputation. The Breaker. If this man was on Robin’s level, he was most certainly in trouble, Eren still being younger and less experienced than his red haired counterpart. In a way, it was like looking at a kindred spirit as well, though perhaps this man’s reputation gave way to him not being as kind or endearing a person as the pink haired debutante was.

All he could do was punch an open hand, grinding his fist together with his gauntlet palm as Golem stood behind him, ready to absorb him into his form like a mech suit if need be. The Golem was a being built by nano machines, son.

”Aw, ya big big boomin’ b*****d, don’t try ta make me swoon. I got a red haired woman to do that’”. Eren cracked his neck in response, looking Breaker up and down, unphased at the appearance of Titan. There was a hunch that his guardian force was a big b*****d like him, further cementing that it was like looking at his counterpart or long lost brother. He spat on the ground and entered a fighting stance, Golem imitating him as well. ”Ill take da beer after, ya b*****d, you’ll pay with a broken nose.”

This was the one fight he needed to win, if not stalemate, and Yukiko was more than needed now than ever to finish her job.

”’Cmon.”
