I guess we should start with a thread establishing the vibe in here.
We're here to dig through the past and open fresh conversations to study old threads/events/whatever on Gaia.
As of this writing, Gaia is 22 years old.
I just came back after a 15 year hiatus where I went and lived my life for a bit.
Looking at it now, Gaia is a a hell of thing to behold. We've come a long way in time and what remains is sort of beautiful, imho.
Seems like the site's recovering from some kind of life support era that I missed, and I hope we'll catch up on all that in future topics.
If you're gonna help with this, you should probably make personal copies of whatever you decide to study. Who knows how long anything might last these days?

Hey! This seems like a really cool idea. I also haven't really been here the last 15 years. Recently gained access to an old email and was back in! It's so weird going through old PMs and threads. Sometimes it's like reading another language, I don't remember some things that are like part of the site culture at all. Love trying to figure it out again!
I used to play zOMG a lot and hang on the forums and dress up the avis with friends so that's where my memory/contribution abilities might be best at.
Anyway, happy to be here and rediscover gaia online with yall smile

Hello, I been here roughly since 2011 even though this account is from around 2013, I think? My oringal account got hacked when a hacking trend was going around in 2011-2013 and I think this was my back up or it was my backs up back up, but I can't fully remember now tbh.
Ive stayed pretty consistent on the site till 2021 due to life events but I checked in on here every now and then.
I use to be a really bored teen (2010s era) so I've clicked on almost everything that exists on this site so I thought my curiosity self could lend a hand here since Im not doing anything else really and I always liked history and can recall most events that happened on here, roughly.

Luckily I had no trouble signing back in. Admins are pretty good about getting old accts back for people even if you can't get into the old email! I'm looking forward to discovering and exploring the history of Gaia with you and the others discovering our guild. 3nodding

I am a relatively new user, post 2018 when platinum was introduced and Lake Kindred had its change of rigs, I learned from Gaia through Boxxy, aka Multilunchbox and I actually liked this site and mostly how friendly people were, a huge contrast to 4chins or leddit.
This site seems mostly driven by nostalgia, regulars can be listed now while a considerable proportion of returnes came as nostalgic turists but just few stay. Despite this I try to encourage people to enjoy their time here, mostly solving doubts in forums but also mentioning them the different games or activities. I created some beginner guides like a plat guide, a zOmg guide and some Lake Kindred guides, the latest are included in the newbie´s support and training guild.
My interests are games like zOmg and Lake Kindred, and I really enjoyed the tid bits of history about those and I hope to contribute with some interesting aspects about them.
