Hobbies: Musicals: Alexi’s dream is to one day make their Broadway debut, and if and when that happens, they want to be in a musical. Honestly, any musical. Singing and acting is something that makes up a good part of Alexi’s passions, and most of what they listen to are soundtracks to any and all shows that have been or are being. Right now his favorites are Evita, the 2012 ost and Six, which is entirely too catchy!
Improv Comedy: Alexi does have backups. They know that they’re funny, and the few classes on improvisation that they were able to take at DCU have helped them really
hone their ability to ‘yes, and?’. If musical theater doesn’t work out, or doesn’t work out as quickly as they want it too…Alexi has a talent for making people laugh, and has a somewhat regular gig at a comedy club near DCU that he performs at once a month, which is a lot of fun!
Dogs: Objectively, the greatest animals in the entire world, Alexi would do almost anything for dogs. At the moment, they don’t have one, but when they get a place of their own? There will absolutely be a dog there with them. When there’s time, Alexi loves to volunteer at animal shelters, and if they ever see you walking with a dog…well. You’re going to end up with Alexi fawning over it.
Virtues: Outgoing: Alexi is
not shy. They have never been shy, and if you are shy, they will always be your emotional support extrovert. There are very few occasions where Alexi doesn't have a grin on their face, and even fewer where they have any kind of issues with talking about...well. Anything. If you need someone to make a call or ask a question, this is your person!
Positive: Being in a good mood is half of the battle, it's a great way to live your life and how Alexi makes sure to live theirs. Keeping positive about things is the best way to trick your mind into
not seeing the worst. If you need a cheer squad or someone to keep a cool head, this is
also your person!
Genuine: There's no point in making stuff up. Sure, Alexi enjoys
acting, but that's a hobby, and hopefully later on a
profession. To be confident enough in yourself that you don't have to make up stories to help others not dislike you? That's the greatest strength that Alexi can think of. Their emotions are always real, raw and uniquely
theirs.
Flaws: Overwhelming: For as good and open that Alexi is...they can be...well.
A Lot.. It's not something that they have ever felt the need to work on, as that's just how they are, and...there's no point in compressing themselves to fit in a box, but. They are a lot, and it can be a bit much for some...for many, actually.
Absentminded: Alexi has...a very overfilled mind. They have tried to fix this with planners, reminders and simply telling others to remind them of whatever is coming up, but...alas. They forget things. All. The. Time. It really isn't you! It isn't that they didn't care about meeting you for a study lunch! It wasn't that they
wanted to forget your birthday, and they are absolutely sorry...but...it will happen again. No matter how hard Alexi tries.
Impulsive: Doing things is always easier than planning to do them. When you brain feels like soup sometimes, it's best to just do things when you think about it rather than waiting. Of course...thinking about things is important and when you don't wait...things can and will overlap. Feelings can and will be hurt. Bank accounts can and will be drained...and it just. Alexi doesn't know how to wait. But. They're trying? Maybe. (Not really...)
