Ma'ome Name: Sveipr (Norse for Lichen)
Koli'tsistu Name: Olifuviðr (Norse for Olive [Green])

Sveipr had been with the colony for a few years now. As the daughter of a previous counsel member, she was well aware of the what was involved in the day to day goings on in the counsel. She saw how her father was fair and kind but firm and decisive when needed. Then one day she saw her father caught between a cliff edge and rogue Ma'Duwi. His swift Koli hurried back to gather help, but it was too late by the time they arrived. Once the mourning period subsided, Sveipr knew that with her experience helping her father when he was making rounds to get to know the colony and ensure all were getting along well, she had the knowledge and skills to keep the colony going. Her own Koli, Olifuvidr was more on the playful side, he helped to keep the cubs entertained as Sveipr would make her rounds with her father, doing tricks and flips, and sometimes in acrobatic 'clumsiness' fall down as they cheered and laughed, This playfulness also helped Sveipr through her mourning. She knew her father would be proud of the work she had done since his passing and she was only too happy to carry on his kindness and sense of justice.

Koli'tsistu Name:Snowdrop

Snowdrop had been a companion to a member of the Schnee who unfortunately had died from sickness. Snowdrop was heartbroken and lost within herself. Her grief left her in a dark place and she just wanted to be alone. She found herself wandering and she ventured out into the mountains soon getting lost. Cold, afraid and hungry, she found a small cave and sought cover from the icy frigid air and a snow storm that had started. In the cave she found a pile of fur and what looked like small animal bones. It looked like the cave belonged to a predator. Fear took hold of her as she heard a growl coming from the darkest part of the cave and red eyes glaring at her through the darkness. The eyes belonged to a Ma'ome who was also sheltering from the storm, hungry and cold. Snowdrop recoiled away from the ma'ome, shivering with both fear and the cold, her body unwilling to move. The ma'ome stayed in the darkness unmoving as well. Tears welled in her eyes and threatened to freeze on her tiny face. "Please," she whispered, "if you intend to eat me, make it quick." The ma'ome watched her silently now, no longer growling at her. He stood and stepped forward into the small amount of light that shone into the cave from the moonlight. "I am quite hungry," he said in a deep growly voice, approaching her slowly with a slight limp in his front left paw. "I could eat you in one... big... bite." He drew out his words to hold a more sinister sound. He stood over her now, his body only inches from hers. She could feel his hot, foul breath on her face. She shut her eyes, bracing for the end. "But... I don't eat koli'tsistu." He chuckled as he stepped past her looking out into the darkness. "I prefer something with a little less fur," he paused, "and no antlers." Snowdrop blinked her eyes open wide at the realisation, then scurried away from him. "You!!!" she gasped exasperated, "You scared the fluff out of me!" She huffed at him and stomped her back foot. "Well, not actual fluff but I did poop a little." She giggled at herself as she had indeed left a small pellet in the spot she had been standing. The ma'ome turned to look at the koli and where she'd been frozen with fear, a smile spreading across his face as he chuckled, which turned to a full body laugh. They were both laughing together at the silliness of the situation. After a moment, their laughter subsided and they stood staring at each other. He quirked his head to the side, "I think I like you little koli." He said and moved back into the depths of the cave. "I would be glad to share my cave with you for the night. You can stay here and keep warm until the storm passes. I'm Zion by the way." Her ears perked and she hopped joyously in a circle. "Oh thank you," she said, her fear and grief left her for just a moment. "I can't thank you enough, and my name is Snowdrop."

The rest of the night they stayed huddled close together in the cave providing a small warmth to each other. They spoke of how they each came to find the cave and what had happened in their lives. Zion had slipped on ice, injuring his paw, and decided to rest there in the cave he found until morning and to shelter from the storm. Snowdrop told him of her loss and the grief she was going through. She hadn't thought anything of it since she had entered the cave. She smiled lightly at the thought of her lost companion, and a thought occured to her. Perhaps she had found her way here to this cave for a reason. Perhaps it was fate that she met Zion, that they would help each other and become companions to each other. While it would never fill the hole in her heart that was left from the passing of her friend, this new friendship could begin to help her heal and find a new purpose for her life. She welcomed him to come back with her to the Schnee colony and he agreed. Once the storm had lifted, they made their way there together.

Ma'ome Name: Lissandra
Koli'tsistu Name: Nunu

They are members of the Snowman. Lissandra is a skilled huntress, loving to lie low and blend into the snow before pouncing on an unsuspecting target. She knows the colony needs food and it is her desire to fulfill that need. Nunu is an l aid in scouting and often relays helpful information to her. The pair have been working together for years and they are a formidable team.

But primarily outside of their work in the Snowman, they actually are in charge of decorations for the Snowman guild. They create large Snowmen several feet tall, of various shapes, sizes and odd peculiar designs. Sometimes the snowmen have up to several balls in its structure, or they may be a different shape from a sphere altogether. Their goal is to provide a spectacle to look at, for people to stop and stare and have their brains be thought provoked. They love being in the snow, and with their passion for art and hunting, they contribute to the liveliness in Schnee.

Ma'ome Name: íssrún
Koli'tsistu Name: þrumasnær
Response: For a long time, íssrún was very serious. When she lost her mother at a young age, her father raised her in a firm but loving way. He was saddened by her death, but as he knew he would never care for another mate like the one he lost, he stoically took on the responsibility of raising íssrún. She did not believe in having fun because it was a serious matter to take care of one another to ensure survival. It wasn't until she was placed with a very vivacious Koli that she began to have a change of heart. þrumasnær very much enjoyed watching the snow games and hoped to join in someday.

One day, while they were out patrolling, þrumasnær came across a plank of bark thick and large enough to be used as a slide. As that particular game was his very favorite, he jumped on board and proceeded to entice íssrún to join in. She refused and implored þrumasnær to get off the bark. þrumasnær was disappointed to have to get off the bark, but as he moved to get off, it began to move. íssrún saw the motion and was fearful of þrumasnær being separated from her, so she jumped on the bark to stop it. That only succeeded in the bark moving faster once she landed. Down the hill they went, with þrumasnær cheering and íssrún trying not to close her eyes to hopefully steer it away from any trees, the fear pumping through her. At the bottom of the steep hill, they came to a stop. It was then that íssrún realized that she actually enjoyed the ride, though she was loath to admit it. þrumasnær could see that íssrún couldn't quite hide the small smile on her face and told her that he could see she enjoyed it. It wasn't until the next time they had gone out that þrumasnær cajoled her into trying it again. From that point on, they would slide down the mountain every chance they got. It also helped íssrún break out of her shell so as to enjoy life more, and her work ethic was all the better for it.
