Here, you'll be provided an option between three doors, with one sending its unfortunate victims into the pit of despair. Eventually, there will be one winner standing, and only they can choose their favorite prize from among the others.
The game is simple, and has few rules: players who wish to participate must partake in Round 1, players eliminated will be noted and cannot continue to future rounds, and anyone who fails to respond in a round has also been consumed by the pit of despair. I, the game master, can decide to add more than three doors or even limit players to two; always read the rules for each round before posting!
Players note which door they pick by typing their vote in bold. It's up to the player whether they add additional RP as a misty resident participating in the game, or if they stick to simple notation. Who knows — there might even be a door with a secret prize within it if the players play their cards right!
Players will have 48 hours to post their vote.
The first winner will be the last one standing, the second will be RNG'd between all those who played in Round 1, and the third is.... hmm, how does one win it? Rules Everyone can enter, but artists cannot win a prize they colored themselves.
Players can only take home 1 character from this game.
Proxies are not allowed.
Please be kind! Any poor play will result in disqualification.

Round 1
Ends: October 4th, 10pm EST
————————————————— Before you, in this strange, labyrinthine corridor, stand three doors. Which door do you open?
Door One:
Ornate and made of a dark, stained wood, this door has faint runes carved into the edges, now long since worn down and covered in dust and dirt. The door feels wise and old, as if it's stood there for many eons, witnessing many a passing story or tale.
Door Two:
While the last door remains impressive for its obvious age and wisdom, this one looks newly cut and smells strongly of sliced wood. There's nothing too concerning or worth noting about this door, other than, perhaps, the copper doorknob that seems far more beat upon than the surrounding wood.
Door Three:
The third door, dark and stained, bears a magnificent stained glass window. While you can't see through it, the glass clearly makes the shape of an intricate bird. —————————————————

Those who survive to the next round will be quoted at the end of Round 1.

 I choose door 2!*although the door that is chosen isn't the most pretty, this door seems like it stands out because of it's fresh smell and simplicity. Painted Snow comes forward boldly, her white hair always complementing her rainbow swirls of color in her hair and on her body. She raises to her hind legs and gives the copper knob a try. She can't help but sniff the door too, it fresh cut scent is pleasant and enjoyable to the Ma'ome nose.*

I chose Door 1!
Jashi would hope he had a knack for this stuff. After all, he had gone through horrible things all throughout his life and had made it until now. This was another trial for him to bear. The first door attracts Jashi's attention - it has almost a mystical and eerie feeling to it, he notices as he scans the faint runes on the door. Surely, this would be the path forward for him.

I choose door 3 Sniffing along the edges and base of the door, Jasper took several steps back to study the stained glass. It was stunning work, the beauty stirring something deep within his chest. He wished he could share this with his mother or Felix.

I choose door 1! Tepepa was drawn to the door, like the age and dust had secrets to tell her. She brushed a paw along the grime, trying to reveal more of the hidden carvings underneath. Her paw came away with dirt, but no more knowledge of what was beyond the door. At least, for now.

Round 1 Results
————————————————— The doors creak open, revealing…
Door two and three both lead into a colder hallway, decorated in crystals of varying colors and cuts. There’s almost a sigh of relief echoing in these halls, as if the corridors had held their breath alongside those unfortunate enough to find their fates before the doors.
These players are safe and continue on to the next round!
Door One:
The door creaks open, revealing a dark, ominous void. While it’d be common sense to turn around and run, those who picked this door aren’t given that opportunity. This door has stood for an undocumented amount of decades — it’s played this game before. The void writhes, long tendrils reaching out and dragging those who had trusted it into something else.
Thankfully, and fortunately, wherever the door takes its victims lead to somewhere safe. There’s a feeling lingering that the door might have decided upon mercy. It’s best to start moving, before the abyssal void changes its mind.
Those who picked Door One have lost!

Round 2
Ends: October 7th, 10pm EST
————————————————— The hall is beautiful, but cold, with the temperature rapidly dropping. While three doors stand before you, one ripples, seemingly phasing in and out of view. It’s probably best to stick to the other two doors…
Door One:
While, at first, the door seems like any ordinary townhouse door, there’s a faint sound of.. weeping? The edges of the door leak with each faint cry heard, and the wood seemingly inhales between sobs.
Door Two:
This door is made out of solid gold, with rubies embedded alongside the edge. It feels almost wrong to touch such a luxurious door, and any who do choose it will be swept by an overwhelming sense of guilt, forced upon them regardless of their initial feelings.

I choose Door 2
Jasper looked around wide-eyed at the brilliant crystals, overwhelmed by their beauty as he padded down the corridor. He wished for a moment he could break a few off to take home, but something told him that it would not end well for him. He shivered as the temperature continued to drop, his breath becoming visible the further he went. Ears went back as he took a moment to observe the two doors. One was beautiful, the other eerie. He knew if his mother were here, she would have gone through the weeping door to find who needed her help, but he was not his mother. Moving towards the golden door, a deep sense of guilt hit him, making him stagger away with a whine.

I choose door 1!
Painted Snow made her way down the hall that was beautiful but growing colder as she went. She fixated on the vanishing door several times but found it to be much too difficult to catch it t the right moment, so she turns her attention to the other two, a little annoyed she can’t get the vanishing door. Her eyes land on the golden door, sneer rises on her muzzle, the promise of riches was often an empty promise and one of greed, she wasn’t a greedy sort. The sobs from the weeping door made her stare at it, it literally wept and her ears lowered a bit, it was sad and she could understand sadness very well. She walked to the weeping door, raised a careful and velvet soft pale paw being sure every claw was sheathed as to be gentle with it. It’s movements almost like breathing made her wonder if there was perhaps water flooding the next hall, but it was too late to change her mind as the tried at the wet and weeping door.
