It's been a while since I logged into this site. I got the idea to log in, and when I did remembered this old goal I had and started working towards it. Don't know how long my fixation will last. But thought I'd have a bit of an update here.

Lockdown sucked. [I don't recall posting anything since my last fixation in 2019. So I have a lot to cover.] I tried a project, which was a weather blanket that year. Which was a pain because a lot of the yarn had to be bought online, and never matched the yarn I had. The one good thing was being able to get a Switch Lite. Had to buy though Best Buy because there were no other options at the time.

The next year, I got a PC when my last laptop died. It's still going good. Though I will probably need to upgrade the memory at some point.

Moved in the middle of 23 because of my aunt having work issues and the old house being too expensive to repair. Been doing better since the move.

Though early last year I had caught COVID. Thought at first it was a bad cold or flu. Was out of commission for most of that month.

[Though there is probably more I could have added, I didn't want this to get too long.]

It's good to see you again!

The whole pandemic was terrifying. I worked in a grocery store when it was in the early stages. To see normally full shelves where bread and toilet paper had been with three per household limits was... well, like being in a different world. It felt distant in 2019, then 2020 came.

Suddenly everyone was getting sick with Covid and wearing masks and there were six foot apart signs on the floor and protection screens in front of the registers. These were not the kinds of things we ever imagined happening here as we were growing up. I got sick, real sick because of my GB and diet, had to have my gall removed. Later, 2021 someone close to me was in a coma from Covid pneumonia. It was bad. God was good, though and they recovered, came out of it and came home.

I hope we don't experience anything like that again anytime soon.

Switch is fun, though I'm low-key avoiding buying from Nintendo right now because of their recent actions.

That's understandable. I've had very little interest in buying anything Nintendo lately. The only exception is old games or systems.

When I was sick, I feel I was lucky it wasn't worse than it had been.

Oh yeah! Same! It still was awful, that fatigue is a doozy, but a lot of people had it so much worse. I stick to Steam for games nowadays.

Yeah, even moving a little bit took a lot out of me. A trip up the stairs had me panting a lightheaded, so if I went up for food, I usually set the food aside until after waking up from being knocked out.
But yeah, I've mostly been playing games on Steam myself. Sometimes will boot up my PlayStation.

I find more friends can play on Steam. With Covid, the actual Covid, the simplest tasks wipe you out. @.@; It's why I tell people the fatigue is the biggest indicator.
