The park was quiet now that the avian nightmare was gone, but the quiet wasn’t one that felt uncomfortable.
The cats had vanished as well, and it seemed unlikely any of them would return.
At least not tonight–
Still Sadalsuud was sure that the familiar crowd would drift back in time as they always seemed to.
She turned to Sinope, her voice earnest as she said softly "I’m really am glad you’re okay - and not just with the whole nightmare chicken thing." Because Sinope had pretty much been one of her first friends when she’d become part of the Court and she’d missed him when he’d suddenly stopped being around.
Her lips curved up in a small but wry smile as she added "And I know that we said that we’d catch up, but would you mind if we find somewhere else to do it - because I really don’t want to stay and see if that thing had any friends."
Because one nightmare avian thing was more than enough for her.
The park was quiet enough that Sadalsuud was planning to drop henshin after she found her bag and let Sinope see the other side of who she was–
Because she had made a promise to herself some years back that she would do so if their paths ever crossed again.
She was completely unaware that Sinope had already glimpsed her civilian self due to her earlier careless slip up.
