- You approach a small, seemingly dilapidated cottage. You were told that this was the place to get your very own, customized Dragons. But doesn't it seem too small, too simple, to be such a fantastical place?
As you approach the door, you can here what sounds like movement. Footsteps, hurried, followed by exclamations and the sound of something falling. What could possibly be happening in there?! Quickly, and without knocking, you push the door open. Someone just fell, right? Surely you should make sure they are okay!
You are greeted with a flurry of sensations: the light scent of something burning, a plethora of color from every corner of the cottage, the fact that the cottage is far more put together and bigger on the inside than on the outside, and finally, a heavy weight colliding with you. Next thing you know, you are on your rump, with a small, chirping Dragon staring up at you expectantly.
"Get over here!" A voice chides the small Dragon before the hatchling gets scooped up. Looking up, you are greeted with an adult Dragon - split with black on one side, white on the other, perfectly down the middle. Their wing membranes, spikes, and eyes are all a striking purple that seems to sparkle with knowledge vast and deep. You could find yourself lost in them, never finding your way out, just floating forever...
A steady claw is placed on your shoulder, dragging you back.
"My apologies," they say, blinking apologetically and inclining their head. Their eyes are no longer so mystifying to look at, and seem just bright and young hearted. "Sometimes the younglings get the best of me with their boundless energy. I should have caught them before they could bowl you over like that. Are you okay?"
The Dragon helps you to your feet, before softly chiding the young one under their breath, moving back behind a counter and into a seemingly hidden door behind.
"I will be right back!"
While they are gone, you take your time drinking in the sight of the cabin. Like you had noticed - fleetingly - when you first came in, you can now see in vivid detail. The cabin is far larger on the inside than on the outside, and in significantly better condition. Bottles of all shapes line the walls, with various substances stuffed inside. Some are fluids, some seem to be gases, others are solids, or even possibly invisible. Each has a unique runic symbol on the front.
Before you can explore them any further, the Dragon from before returns.
"Hello. My name is Optikal. I presume you are here today to talk about a custom Dragon? Well, you have come to the right place!" Their dark purple claws spread across the counter in front of them as they give you a tooth filled smile. "I have plenty of ingredients to create you the perfect Dragon companion. Now, tell me about what you are looking for in a Dragon."
