I have been a huge fan of Cowboy Troy since "I Play Chicken with the Train. I admire him for doing something completely new and unqiue to country music.

I can respect Cowboy Troy and his individuality and unique approach to the country music genre, but I do not enjoy his music. That's just a personal taste thing. And the term "hic hop" makes me shudder from time to time. Again, that's just me. I'm never going to be against someone trying to be himself or herself, though.

The only time I've heard him was on the Big and Rich cd Horse of a Different Colour and when my local station was doing a "do you like this song? would you like to hear it again?" call-in contest thingy

I think if he can get out there and try to expand country music, then he should go for it. I love "I Play Chicken With the Train". So ya, I guess I'm a fan!

[-Australian-Sushi-] i like him. i really like his part on rollin' by big & rich I think that's the only time I've heard him and it sounded pretty good to me. I like a good beat though in my country and I'd get tired of him after a while I'd think.

In my opinion the fusion of hip hop and country should have never even become an actaul thought in anyones mind. Though I feel creativity is a good thing, fusing those to genras of music is kind of like bungee jumping with an anvile straped to your waist, its not the best idea ever to be though.
