this game is off the fo-cheesy blaugh KOS-MOS is kickin butt, Shion broke her spectacles and well everyone else is doin good. I miss MoMo's sailor moon wand now she fights with a crossbow. Aww well I guess alls well that ends well. heart

Wow! Where to start... They like, messed EVERYTHING up!(almost) First off:
Shion: She stepped on her glasses, and suddenly she doesn't need them anymore? They could have at least gave her contacts!
MOMO: She was so adorable i the first! Why change her!? I think the voice acter died or something, so they had to find someone else. They failed. She sounds more like a wannabe-cheerleader. She's still cute, but still! When she's casting an ether she says: Mystic powers, grant me a miricle!" In the first, its cute!^-^! But i the second, it sounds from a mix of someone trying to sing with a sore throat, someone scrathing thier nails over a chalk-board, and someone contstantly dipping a cat in cold water!
chaos:He had the most cuttest voice! Now he could pass for a hit-man's voice, or something similer... And he doesn't have his magic thingys anymore. His eyes aren't big and round either!
KOS-MOS: Nothing really changed badly about her, but if you look at her hair close enoguh it GLOWS! C.C!
Ziggy: Oh, I'll have fun with this one. They tryed to make him more softer or something I think. And in the prosess they made him look like a girl with eyeliner!
Jr: THANK GOD! This was the one thing they did right! They made him more mature looking, and with cooler clothes as well ^_^!!!! I swear, of they had changed him in a bad way, I would have to hit someone with a silly-stick! They made him more Sexy ^.^
The ethers... what happened here? Used to, everyone had thier own ether, but now it's the same thing!
And finally: Why?
This takes place RIGHT AFTER Xenosaga 1, so why did everyone change so much within 5 minutes? Answer me that one! Lol. And another thing...(you didn't think I was done did you?) Why can't Jr. grow? If he's older then Albedo and Negrido, why is he so small? Why is it that Albedo is "Invincible" But died of Jr.? Why did Guagnun turn into his father? Why did he kill his father!?
Even after all this, I give the game a thumbs up ^^

xenosaga2 really roxs my fav char is gainan jr. but i like calling him rubedo better but when im being specific i call him u.r.t.v. unit #666 or jus jr. mrgreen

Yeah I finally got it so I have like both of the episodes aren't there suppose to be like more. the graphics are so kick a** and they totally out did themselves with the remaking over everybody KOS-MOS looks more human, Shion looks better and so does everybody else. Canaan looks kewl too.

I agree with MOMO, they really screwed this one up.
Oh, Jr. doesn't grow because that's part of his power, he can control how old he is. While he's older, he's actually not. Think in the fourth dimension for a bit, Jr. has lived through however many years, but his body is actually younger than that. I forget his power exactly, but it has something to do with time.
And the glasses were holographic, like the computer screens and such, how'd they break?
Ziggy's "new" legs are really skinny, it's really disturbing.
Kos-Mos looks more human? Yeah, that pisses me off. The idiots that thought-up these new looks, or the whoever had the idea for them, decided to destroy the anime look and opt for a "real" look. This pissed me off because its not real life, its a video game! A sci-fi one at that! Most of the people that played the game already liked anime or were fanboys/fangirls. Xenosaga is already a cult game, not mainstream like Final Fantasy. It's like they were trying to piss off the few fans they had. Nor is she supposed to have emotion in her voice.
Sailor Moon wand? That was actually a card captor wand, you can even get a Sakura outfit somewhere too. (In the first one) Hey, she's modelled after a Sakura and she's like a different Sakura.
Ugh... The voice... I have to resist destroying something when I hear that, this game had some of the worst voice actors I've ever seen. MOMO's entire personality changed in this game! Or maybe I felt like it did because her voice and outfit make her seem five years old. Or like a spoiled rich brat.
Back to Kos-Mos. Wrong! That outfit makes her look like a robot with that crazy blue crap.
When they were made to look more "human," their anime images were destroyed. A defense was that it made the game more serious, but wait, Momo makes the game seem... um... I have no words to describe it, but its something pretty bad.
But hey, maybe this is just because I'm a fanboy?

I like episode 2 but it took me a while to get over Kos-Mos new look. I like the old look better.

the only thing i have to complain about was Kos-mos' Voice acting... -shudders-...they could've kept the anime-ish look but then again Rubedo wouldn't be sexy anymore he'd look like a 12 year old again. -shudders-
the second game actually made me like MOMO...the first game she was annoying as heck! and i wasn't fond of the 'panty' shots either...-shrugs-. and in the first game chaos looked and sounded gay! so i think he's better in the second game!

Um.... Rubedo was 12 years old, physically, not mentally. Like I said up there, he ages at his own discretion, that's why he's short, but he might not be 12, it might be something else. 14 maybe?

I did have a problem with the voicing acting with the lip sinc in the second games. It seem like the first one did it better becuase of the style they drew the characters like Shion and Kos-Mos.

i'm just going to be thankful they changed the way powersing up skills and such changed, keeping it all balanced in the first one was a mess.. though in number two .. it took a long time to figure out how the ethers worked.. maybe i'm just a little un-observative...
with the characters. i really must agree that they made Jr. much btter, i'm not so sure about the others...
((*gets killed by Margulus for about the thousanth time*)) god, that just ticks me off.
i should have finished the first one.. i'm such a bad person.

heehee yeh i love the game. but im stuck. can sum1 help me? cause like im on the 2nd disk n im like in the E.S. after returning 2 old Miltia after it got blown up. im like on the elevator thing like where it says stop up down n stuff like im at the bottom n im where the door thingy is does n e 1 know what 2 do around there??? o n in the room theres like big robot guys at the bottom.

yeah, i defiantely dont like how they changed some of the characters. Especially with some of the voices and appearances.
However, plot was still good and gameplay wasn't bad either. All in all a good game, but not quite as good as the first one.
