I love Olive Garden 3nodding But I must admit their dessert menu is a bit lacking. It doesn't really bother me much, though, since I'm usually too full to eat dessert there anyways biggrin

The two desserts I have eaten [from] there are the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate lasagna. In my opinion, the cheesecake is better. I admit I'm biased, as I'm an incredible cheesecake fanatic, but I have my reasons. I'm a big fan of chocolate, too - candy bars, cocoa, cookies, etc etc etc. But the chocolate lasagna at Olive Garden just seems... bland. It's good chocolate, but it just doesn't satisfy my mouth the way it looks like it should. It's very dissappointing for such an interesting and appealing dessert.

What do y'all like off the Olive Garden dessert menu? Dislike? Never been to Olive Garden?

I've never eaten at the Olive Garden, but I'm terribly interested in hearing what this "chocolate lasagna" is. Tell me about it? o_o

Chocolate lasagna is a few layers of chocolate cake and butter cream icing, with chocolate chunks on top. It's good, but nowhere near as good as it looks.

Wow, that sounds amazing. Good to know it's not as good as it sounds; I'll avoid it if I even have a chance to eat at the Olive Garden. I don't even know where the closest one would be to me.

I actually never paid much attention to the dessert menu, with all the hypnotizing pasta pictures. I think they steal your soul with they're shrimp and fettucini commercials!!!! And the buttery chicken and pasta and sauce... heart eek heart GAH! Even the breadsticks are against you! xp

I have a good story about olive garden. So i went to olive garden a few weeks ago and ordered pasta as per usual. So i'm waiting for an hour or so and no food. My mom is starts to wonder where the hell is the food is because she is hungry. So my mom ask the waiteress and she was like it will be out in a few minute. Fourty Five minutes go by and there is still no food. It ends up that they screwed somthing up. Long story short they gave us desert free. I had a lemon thing and it was amazing !!

A few months ago they added this zabaione (marsala custard) thing with berries and it's totally delicious though I wish they weren't so stingy with the zabaione.

Anyone else tried it?

As a former Olive Garden employee, and something of a sweets freak, I am QUITE partial to the tiramisu cake. It's delicious. The white choc. rasp. cheesecake is FREAKING DELICIOUS and so is their summer-time only dessert that the just introduced last year. I don't remember what it's called, but it has berries and a very special kind of creamy stuff that they glob on the top. It's GREAT. If anyone knows the name of it please tell me because I can't, for the life of me, seem to find the name of it in my stinky old brain.
