Like most diaries, this is meant to be kept private. Please do not post, unless you ask Ectava's permission. However, feel free to read Sydney's adventures!

The tides had changed. There would be a short span of time now, in which Sydney could travel away from the bay of Venlenna. She had to follow her heart now, and go in search of her other forms... in search of a form more useful to her people.
Oh how she longed for the ability to hold a spear with long human like fingers. To be able to fly through the water with the grace of a scythe, with so much more potential than she had now...
She required air to live in her current form... but not as a Shimmer... she would find that potion and make her way back to her people. Surely they would be fine without her... right?
The water began to feel warm to her, and she new she had reached the outer rings of the bay. Now Sydney knew, if it wasn't meant to be, she would be caught by a Gohm... or devoured by a Rindriss... Those shark like creatures frightened her the most. Unlike the Gohm, they did not make sounds as they swam. No... they were silent... and they had many teeth.
Sydney spread her wings far, letting the warm tide waters add speed to her escape. Behind her, the eerie song of the Gohm was almost deafening. That didn't mean anything to her really, because she knew they could be quite far away and still sound as though they were right on top of you.
To the left, she saw a shadow moving as the wind moved above the water's surface. Coiling her tail beneath her belly, Sydney folded her wings and flicked her body towards the watery floor. Rindriss lurched forward then, snagging nothing bot a mouthful of warm water in his open maw.
She buried herself under a shard of rock, covering anything that was still exposed with as much sand as she could without drawing attention to her shimmering scales. Then, biting her tongue, Sydney watched Rindriss seemingly sniff the water in search of her....
