A friend of mine is having this huge controversy with a personal enemy of hers. He insists that Legend of Zelda is much better than Kingdom Hearts. this is to prove once and for all That Kingdom Hearts is better than any GameCube game ever made. people who agree or disagree may post here to say witch they belive is the best

KINGDOM HEARTS!!!!!!!! I SAY KINGDOM HEARTS IS WAY BETER THAN LEGEND OF ZELDA (although LOZ is great especially OOT and the comming twilight princess, but...) KINGDOM HEARTS IS BETTER!!!! ok sorry, lol blaugh im just a huge fan of kingdom hearts

Weeeeellllll.....
It's like this. Ledgends of Zelda has 1.) had a lot more console and comsumer airing time and 2.) been through many more versions, sequels, and gamer feedback periods. To put it simply, it's a classic with many versions so you are bound to truly enjoy at least one.
With Kingdom Hearts, being relatively new by comparison, it is almost unfair to hold it up to the same light. However, when compared to LoZ in it's beginnings, I would have to say that Kingdom Hearts had a much greater effect on gamers across the world. The storyline in itself is broader in one game than in all games from the LoZ series (once again, opinion of the masses, not fact, not discrediting your opinions, don't shoot me plz) and the fighting style is beautifully done. (Orewa real-time, non-turn-based fighting style o daisuki desuyooooo!!!!!)
Then again, being a more modern game, KH also has better graphics and more life-like and relatable (not to mention touching and heartfelt) cut scenes. Keeping this in mind, the comparison could be justified as fair, and I do believe that Kingdom Hearts has just won round 1 and 2. (KH and KH COM. round 3 must wait for me to purchase KH2)

I don't think that this will prove anything. If you want real results, then you sjuld post this into a neutral forum, such as gaming discussion forums. This is a KINGDOM HEARTS guild, so of course you're going to get many more people here who like KH more than they like Zelda.
If you were to post this same poll and post in a Zelda guild, chances are you would have many more that like Zelda more than KH.
As for saying that Kingdom Hearts being better thanb ANY game ever put on Game Cube, this is a load of bull. I will demonstrate with Super Smash Bros. Melee. This game may not have much of a story, but its graphics are phenominal and definitle superior to KH. The next is game play. In KH1 all you get is a whiney little spikey-haired runt who's destiny happens upon him, and you play as him throughout the whole game. This does not change in CoM, and I can't say anything about KH2, seeing as how I have not played it. In Melee, you can choose from many different characters, from many of Nintendo's different games, and while KH has several different Square games infused with it, none of them are playable. I don't know about the rest of you, but I bought a GameCube for the sole reason of playing Melee. I've also found that there are many redeeming games under GameCube's domain. Eternal Darkness, MarioKart Double Dash, and Tales of Symphonia, to name a few. And before you go calling me a KH hater, that's not true at all. I own KH1 and CoM and look forward to playing KH2 soon. I love the series, otherwise I would not have joined this guild.

See you would have made a whole lot of sense if kh was actually FOR the game cube. Unfortunatelly it's not for the game cube. kh1 and 2 are for ps2 and com is for game boy. Yeah, just letting you know, because you did not really prove anything by saying its for the gamecube. Well I could say more, but I don't want to start a fight mrgreen the first two paragraphs you made perfect sense and I agree. The third...not so much... 3nodding well now time to hide ninja -hides-

I'm not a huge fan of Zelda. Kingdom Hearts is something that we can all relate to. I spent much more time on Kingdom Hearts than I did any Zelda game. And so......
Zelda: 6.3.........
Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories, and 2: 10
KH wins! Whoo!
