I like older metal. I don't like how a lot of bands now have resorted to nothing but growling. It gets pretty old.

It gets pretty old. mmm, if you mean the stuff that played on the radio (Metalcore), then yea.. I agree with you. But know that not ALL metal has screaming, yelling, growling, and swearing in it. Main-stream radio almost NEVER actually play real metal... they may play Slipknot or some other crappy band trying to sound metal... but it's not even close to the real thing.

Yes, and that's why I didn't say all. I never listen to the radio anymore though. It's full of crap(unless you're one of the lucky people with good stations to listen to).

I like most metal genres and I love the Diversity of it. I just picked up Ayreon the Humand Equation and i havent been able to stop listneing to it. xp

I LOVE AYREON! heart I've got 'the Human Equation' album too along with 'The Final Experiment', both excellent choices... "THE" is way more metal compared to "TFE" though.. prolly cause it was released 10 years earlier and Ayreon was just starting out and all >.> but great nontheless 3nodding . Nice to see some people into proggy concept albums smile

Disciple_of_Metal i have to pick up or downlaod tha album, most likely downlaod because im luky i found the human equation. 3nodding FYE dont have much anymore stare ooh, see where I live we have this indie record store that let's you sample music and they sell nothing but imports and used cds and all sorts of obscure metal, punk, indie, and underground hip hop acts from around the world.. and I was there like last year sometime and I just happened to see ONE Human Equation double disc left... 4laugh
