Welcome one and all to this brief announcement brought to you by the Moderator Board of the UFFG.
It has come to our attention that we have a bit of a problem with 'Ghost Members' Or if you prefer, Members who join the guild but do not post or contribute to guild activites.
It has therefor come to the Mod boards decision that a Reformation of the guild is required.
FAQ
Here i will post questions that will most likely pop up in this thread in attempt to save time and stuff like that.
1. What does Reformation mean?
It means that we will temporarily close down the guild so that we may work on it to make it a better place
2. Ok, So the guild will be closed. What will happen then?
Well once the Guild is closed down we will then work through thread by thread and decide whether or not to keep it. While at the same time we will send out a Pm notifying All members of whats going on. If you wish to remain part of this ever growing guild we will require confirmation from you. If we do not recieve this confirmation with in a set time period you will unfortuantly be removed from the guild.
3. But thats not fair!! i've posted # times! why should I have to risk getting removed?
No, it's perfectly fair, as it doesn't matter how many posts you have. if your away from the guild for an extended period of time without a reasonable explanation then your still a 'Ghost User'
4. The guild's getting reformed? Cool! can i join the guild!?
When we get down to the nitty gritty stuff we would rather that no one joins the guild as while you may be active it will throw off our member count and add 1 more Pm to the list of people to Pm. But if you leave your join request we Will get back to you as soon as the reformation is compleate.
5. Can i help with the Reformation?
Yes, you can apply to help with the Reformation. as it is a big job and it does affect you the members directly. Note: while we do, and will accept help from our members we can't give you guys mod status. as the more people with Mod status the more chaotic things could get.
6. When will the Reformation start?
The acutal date is unknown, but it wont start untill Yami Baku comes back from her Washington DC trip.

Dude, didn't I say December 12? xd Okay, maybe I didn't. After spending 2 weeks staring at soldiers...my brain has been turned into mush. I'd prefer if you guys just go ahead and close down the guild and start PMing. I'll try to give my 100% for all the re-creation of threads and such, but I'm REALLY busy right now [Math olympics tomorrow!], so I'll make no guarantees.

Uh, Zidane? Are you here...? I'm still kind of brain-dead [math took it all out of me], but I'll see if I can give you a hand on the job list:
1. Messengers. We need people willing to PM members of the UFFG.
2. Brainstormers. We need people willing to share their ideas personally [with the mods] for the new UFFG after reconstruction.
3. Replacement moderator. After my leave, the UFFG will need a replacement moderator. This job isn't finalized yet, but I'm sure we are currently searching for any likely candidates.
Yes, and so on and so forth. I think the list will be added to as we [the mods] get more ideas...

Ok... If i've checked my callender right...
i'm off school from tomorrow untill tuesday next week...
We should start the Reformation then...
But one thing i have noticed is that Siox hasn't been online in a while and we'll need him to change the front page to let people know whats going on... but i sugest that we get people to sign up for jobs and stuff... sweatdrop

-Zidane__Tribal- Ok... If i've checked my callender right... i'm off school from tomorrow untill tuesday next week... We should start the Reformation then... Hmm, I have from today til tuesday off if you all want to start it? Tell me when you need jobs, I'kll be free most of the time and I can stay up later cos no school. ^^

My grammar has gone down the tube. I can't even spell "guard" right in my English homework... xp Oh yeah, instead of just talking, why not get on with it already? But yes, I am off for the next week - however, I'm going to San Diego for vacation [some vacation. I wanted to go to annapolis] for half of that and I have a bunch of projects... xp So yes, I'll try to be online as much as I can. And I'll supply the ideas, but I can't guarantee I'll be there to carry them out.
